Far-Left teachers are indoctrinating children to hate the West

America’s largest teaching union is a case study in the capture of education by extreme progressive activists

The breakdown in relations between the US’s top teacher’s union, the National Education Association (NEA), and the Anti-Defamation League, a civil rights group focused on tackling anti-Semitism, reflects a deeper and dangerous takeover of education by determined activists. Besides the usual financial demands, education is increasingly seen as a means to achieve progressive, even radical “social justice”, which of course means boycotting anything connected to Israel.

The NEA is clearly taking political sides, claiming that it is pledging “to defend democracy against Trump’s embrace of fascism”. The union is also adamant in defending undocumented immigrants, opposing parental rights, and pledging to back mass demonstrations against the administration. This approach is seen by boosters as “social justice unionism”, adding political stances to the usual economic ones.

I have little regard for the ADL or the teachers and their unions. Both are extremist left wing entities that embrace DEI/CRT.

Palestinians’ Latest Scam: Hamas Can Become a ‘Political Party’

According to reports in some media outlets, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has called on the Iran-backed Hamas terror group to “surrender its weapons to the Palestinian Authority.”

Abbas was quoted as saying: “Hamas will not rule the Gaza Strip.” His comment came long after the current war, which began on October 7, 2023, when thousands of Hamas terrorists and “ordinary” Palestinians invaded Israel, and murdered 1,200 Israelis and foreign nationals and wounded thousands. Another 251 Israelis and foreign nationals were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip, where 50 – alive and dead – are still held captive.

In Canada they’re called the Liberal Party.

Truth is not necessary

After the Senate passed President Trump’s rescission package early Thursday morning that, among other things, clawed back federal funding for PBS and NPR, CBS Mornings teed up an interview it did with NPR CEO Katherine Maher, who claimed the move “would be a tremendous tragedy.”

They live in the same bubble the CBC inhabits championing marginal viewpoints as mainstream.

Carney promises First Nations leaders prosperity for ‘generations to come’ with your money at summit on major projects

Prime Minister Mark Carney promised First Nations rights-holders wealth and prosperity for “generations to come” at a summit Thursday designed to allay leaders’ concerns about the government’s major projects law, which has ignited criticism because it allows for fast-tracked approvals.

Carney said the law, known as Bill C-5 before its passage through Parliament in June, is designed to “connect and transform our national economy” at a time when the country is facing threats from U.S. President Donald Trump.

He said the potential benefits that come from building new railways, ports and energy “corridors” will flow to First Nations because “Indigenous economic growth is at the centre” of this new framework.

Oh c’mon it’s always the tax payer who picks up the tab.

A new report claims that Microsoft has used Chinese engineers to maintain U.S. Defense Department computers, which would present a major national security threat. Experts want Microsoft’s borderline “treasonous behavior” investigated, in comments shared with PJ Media.

ProPublica published an investigation July 15 that claimed “Microsoft is using engineers in China to help maintain the Defense Department’s computer systems — with minimal supervision by U.S. personnel.” While it is not certain that the report is true, Microsoft does have operations and connections in China, and the Biden administration did allow far too many loopholes for potential foreign infiltration, which is one reason why the Trump administration has such a major task ahead in cleaning out the federal government.

Lauren Southern, Former Right-Wing Commentator, Says Andrew Tate Assaulted Her

Ms. Southern’s account of a 2018 encounter, made in a self-published memoir, adds to the allegations against Mr. Tate, the online influencer. “She is lying through her teeth,” Mr. Tate’s lawyer said.

In February 2018, Lauren Southern, a right-wing Canadian political influencer, met Andrew Tate on a trip to Bucharest, the Romanian capital.

Ms. Southern, then 22, was gaining prominence with provocative videos that expressed anti-feminist and anti-immigrant views. Mr. Tate, a British American kickboxer living in Romania, was building his own online brand of flashy hyper-masculinity — and was years away from public scrutiny over accusations of rape and human trafficking.

On that 2018 trip, Mr. Tate strangled and assaulted Ms. Southern in a hotel room while she was intoxicated, according to a self-published memoir that she released on Tuesday. Chapters of the book, “This Is Not Real Life,” that involve Mr. Tate were published on her Substack.

Carney Bets Bigly On Trump’s Administration: Blind Trust comprised of 91.6 per cent of U.S.-based companies.

Prime Minister Mark Carney’s investment portfolio includes three Canadian firms out of 567 entities, according to an analysis conducted by the Investigative Journalism Foundation.

Carney’s assets were released July 11th to comply with the Conflict of Interest Act, which requires public disclosure within 120 days of his appointment as prime minister in March.

Among the 567 funds held in an investment account managed by a third party, over which Carney had no control or influence, about 91.6 per cent are U.S.-based companies.

Antisemitism is iniquitous in all its forms, but it is especially wicked when it is teachers directing the ancient hatred at innocent children.

And yet it appears Ontario schools are a hotbed of antisemitism where teachers are taking a leading role in targeting Jewish students.

Purge the teacher’s colleges and teacher ranks, take over the schoolboards, suspend the unions and remove any vestige of DEI/CRT from the curriculum.

President Donald Trump says Coca-Cola has agreed to use real cane sugar in its drinks sold in the US.

Coca-Cola uses corn syrup in its American products, but Trump’s Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr has voiced concern about the ingredient’s health impacts.

“I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so,” Trump wrote on social media. “I’d like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola.”

Kath loved “Mexican Coke” we used to buy it when we ordered burritos from a nearby Mexican joint. Cane sugar, accept no substitute.
