Why Germany is ripe for revolt – The German elites were wrong about everything.

As Germany’s federal elections approach this weekend, chancellor Olaf Scholz and his Social Democrats (SPD) are bracing for their worst results since 1887. The SPD is battling with its equally unpopular coalition partner, the Green Party, for a humiliating third place, behind the conservative Christian Democrats (CDU) and the right-populist Alternative for Germany (AfD).

Jamie Sarkonak: Trump’s empire dismantling should please woke decolonialists

Decolonization is one idea that has fuelled, and now, doomed the left. The prospect of dismantling western states and ceding ground to new, morally just, decolonized successors excited its members and inspired a certain revolutionary excitement; the pleasure from blaming the world’s problems on nebulous racial forces was all-consuming.

The ascendant right can’t allow itself to fall into the same kind of self-sabotaging death spiral. But boy, will it be tempted. You can already see it happening to the south.

Inside America’s ‘trans sanctuary city’ too busy shouting about Trump to focus on worst murder rate in decades

Residents of the Massachusetts city that’s declared itself a ‘trans sanctuary’ say they’re worried that social justice warriors have hijacked their council and are running their hometown into the ground.

Worcester entered the national spotlight this month when colorfully-dressed activists took over a hearing and demanded city hall give them more ‘protection’ because of Donald Trump’s return to the White House.

A parade of crusaders clad in wigs, make-up, jewelry, and drag costumes complained about being ‘unsafe’ in the liberal bastion, yelling and crying as they aired grievances from the podium.

The Ignored Link Between Mass Migration and Europe’s Rape Epidemic

The increase in sexual violence in the European Union in recent years has generated an intense debate about the role of mass immigration in such crimes. While some political and media actors have tried to minimize the correlation, official data and multiple reports reveal a different reality. The impact of mass immigration, mostly from regions with value systems and cultural norms that radically differ from the European ones, has challenged security and social cohesion in many cities on the continent.

According to the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, approximately one in ten women in the EU have experienced some form of sexual violence since the age of fifteen. However, the steady rise in these crimes in recent years cannot be attributed exclusively to increased awareness and reporting.

SULTAN OF OTTAWA: Climate Carney’s Brookfield millions revealed

A retired Canadian C-level executive, wishing to remain anonymous, has estimated Liberal leadership candidate Mark Carney’s wealth from his years with Brookfield Asset Management — which has ownership of coal infrastructure.

Carney has branded himself a political outsider despite also being former governor of the Bank of Canada and governor of the Bank of England. He worked extensively as an advisor to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and has questioned aspects of capitalism.

Trump is threatening invasion of our country. Should you panic? Yes of course. But it won’t help

If Canadians seem worried right now, the avalanche that the Trusk/Mump administration has set rolling down the mountain towards us suggests it would really be more rational to panic. Who wants to be the orchestra playing as the Titanic broke in two? Unhook those lifeboats.

We hit more rubble each day, from Trump calling himself a king, to anticipatory economic damage in Canada, to a threatened invasion of our country, to Trump harvesting U.S. scientists with a lathe, to the horrifying Hitler-Stalinish US-Russia pincer on Ukraine, to everything else.

Doctor Who Went Woke and Then Broke

It’s pretty hard to explain Doctor Who to someone who has never seen the show. For those that haven’t, it’s a British science fiction show which first aired in 1963 and has been on and off the air ever since. The show’s main character is The Doctor and super-genius alien who travels through time and space in a ship called the TARDIS which in theory is supposed to blend in with the surroundings but in practice always looks (from the outside anyway) like a British police box.

Steve Bannon says Canadians should take U.S. President Trump’s 51st state comments as ‘the greatest compliment you’ve ever had.’

Canada’s Arctic will be a ‘tremendous vulnerability,’ Bannon says

At the America’s biggest annual Republican gathering, Steve Bannon, former chief strategist to Donald Trump, is hosting his War Room talk show from the sidelines of the Conservative Political Action Convention.

Dozens of people surrounded his CPAC set to watch his broadcast and to snap selfies with the man who helped first install Trump in the Oval Office in 2016.

His show included chats with supporters of Hungary’s ultranationalist leader Victor Orban and “J6ers,” whom he heralded as heroes for participating in the 2021 Capitol riots. When the 71-year-old got off stage, he heaped praise on the president’s machinations to annex Canada.

10 years of denigrating Canada and mass immigration from incompatible cultures and they expect us to rally round the flag.

The inside story of Delta flight 4819: How a crash-landing in Toronto came within a single spark of being so much worse

Peter Carlson was going to be away from his wife and three kids for only a few days. He was headed to visit an old friend, a paramedic chief who had invited him to a conference in Toronto. By now, as he neared the end to an uneventful flight from Minneapolis, Carlson wasn’t far above Pearson International Airport.

Below, Michael Nolan was ready to pick him up. He was waiting, working away in his SUV, next to Pearson’s Runway 23. He didn’t pick up everyone from the airport, but for Carlson — the guy Nolan had met 11 years ago at a conference in Salt Lake City, and whom he considered a paramedic thought leader — he was willing to put in the effort.

The Left’s Real Misery is Cognitive Dissonance

And their misery demands company — ours.

Recently another poll revealed America’s most known political fact: Liberals are miserable. The samplings change but the conclusions don’t. Yet as confirmed as leftist misery is, its cause is missed: cognitive dissonance.

The latest polling by the Institute for Family Studies found that only 12 percent of young liberal women were completely satisfied with life. Contrastingly, young conservative women were three times more likely to be completely satisfied. Further, IFS observed: “And consistent with previous research, the effect of ideology on young women’s happiness held up to controls for age, education, race, and income.”

Why Won’t Cities Like New York Punish Anti-Semitic Rioters?

Seared into the minds of Jewish Americans are the innocent faces and bright red hair of the youngest Hamas hostages, Ariel and Kfir Bibas. The brothers, four and nine-months old, respectively, were kidnapped along with their mother, Shiri, by masked gunmen on October 7, 2023. Their father, Yarden, was also taken hostage but was released last week. Imagining Yarden’s anguish as he awaited news of his family’s fate only deepened the anxiety of millions who, like me, prayed for their safe return.

It’s a problem world wide.

Is it because the elites are afraid of the Muslims they imported?

Is the threat level so high the authorities have been ordered to treat the Mohammedans and their quisling allies with Kid gloves?

Conrad Black: Why Doug Ford deserves to win

Ontario is going to the polls next week with a year remaining in the Ford government’s present term; voters don’t generally like premature elections unless there is a good reason for them. Counterintuitively, the country did reelect Justin Trudeau in a premature election in 2021 on the basis of his handling of the Covid pandemic, which was in fact absurdly overreactive, authoritarian, and grossly expensive. He was assisted by the fact that the official opposition’s position was that they would establish a royal commission to evaluate the official reaction to the pandemic instead of coming out slugging and making the government pay at the polls for its poorly thought-out and executed response to the public health crisis. The current Ontario election is later in the mandate than the 2021 federal election was and the reason for the election call is to give Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservative government a strong mandate to deal with his province’s response to trade and related challenges arising from the United States government’s threat of sharply increased tariffs.
