Sleaziest 1st Family Ever: ‘Set phone up so I can spy on you showering.’ Hunter Biden

Hunter Biden threatened one of his cash-strapped young female staffers with withholding her pay if she didn’t FaceTime him for sex.

Shocking texts between the President’s son, 52, and his young assistant, who was 29 at the time, show Hunter asking for video sex sessions and sending her cash via Apple Pay after she pleaded that she was struggling to make rent.

The woman, who DailyMail.com has chosen not to identify, worked as an assistant at Hunter’s law firm, Owasco, in 2018 and 2019. She is the fourth employee he is known to have had a sexual relationship with.

RCMP says it’s running checks on equipment purchased from company linked to China

A senior RCMP official says the force is in the midst of examining equipment it obtained from a company linked to China’s government to search for any points of vulnerability.

The national police force suspended its contract with Sinclair Technologies for radio frequency (RF) equipment last year following reporting by Radio-Canada that revealed Sinclair’s parent company, Norsat International, has been owned by Chinese telecommunications firm Hytera since 2017.

The Chinese government owns around 10 per cent of Hytera through an investment fund, Radio-Canada reported.

California’s plan to power EVs has one glaring shortcoming

You may have already heard about California Governor Gavin Newsom’s announcement last year that his state will ban the sale of gasoline-powered vehicles by 2035. Restrictions on how many non-electric vehicles can be sold will begin in just three years. This is making all of the climate alarmists very happy, of course, but there is a significantly large fly in the ointment of this plan. In order to charge up roughly 12.5 million EVs on a daily basis, the state will need to have a lot of electricity available on the power grid. But nobody seems to have run through all of the numbers with the Governor.

Jamie Sarkonak: The Liberals’ giant subsidy for lefty academics to bolster their censorship legislation

In preparation for the tabling of new laws to censor “harmful” online content, federal officials are spending millions of dollars researching subtle forms of racism, “queerphobic cyber-violence,” (alt-)right-wing attitudes in gaming, credibility attacks on journalists and the use of children to counter “misinformation” within their families.

To hold off Pierre Poilievre, Justin Trudeau has to counter a familiar — and effective — playbook

“Everything feels broken,” laments Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre each time he’s in front of a microphone.

“Justin,” as he calls Prime Minister Trudeau, has made everything worse, he says. From rising inflation to soaring rents, to opioid deaths and to the wave of violent crimes on the TTC. Canadians, Poilievre says, “deserve better than this. And better is what they will get.”

If this sounds familiar, it is. Poilievre has borrowed from Trudeau’s successful 2015 campaign slogan “better is always possible.” He’s also appropriated from David Cameron, the former Conservative leader in the United Kingdom whose “Broken Britain” campaign saw the Tories successfully argue Labour’s big government promise had failed to deliver.

They should have Justin run on his record.

Chair of California reparations panel pushes for wealth, mansion, or property tax to pay billions to descendants of slaves

The chair of California’s reparations panel is apparently pushing for a wealth tax, mansion tax or a property tax to pay billions of dollars to descendants of slaves.

Members of the California task force set up under woke Gov. Gavin Newsom have previously proposed paying each black resident in the state $223,000.

To make up those funds, Kamilah V. Moore tweeted over the weekend that the panel is considering proposing a state estate tax, a mansion tax or a graduated-property tax in its final recommendations to the state legislature, which are due this summer.

Good time to rent that U-Haul.

Alec Baldwin to be formally charged Tuesday in Halyna Hutchins’ death

Alec Baldwin will be formally charged with involuntary manslaughter Tuesday in the death of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Criminal charges against the “30 Rock” star, along with the Western film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, were announced earlier this month, though not officially filed.

“The District Attorney and the special prosecutor are fully focused on securing justice for Halyna Hutchins,” said Heather Brewer, a spokesperson for First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies’ office in Santa Fe, New Mexico. “The evidence and the facts speak for themselves.”

‘Toronto turning into Gotham city’: How random violence is pushing Toronto to a tipping point

The city knows what’s happening. Toronto’s police chief, the mayor, transit bosses all sense it. They see it rumbling on a grey horizon. So do the wags of Twitter, daily commuters, and out of towners now thinking twice.

It’s fear. Broad, public fear.

A lot of the blame is due to White Liberal Guilt.

They really only have one answer to every situation – throw money at a problem until the squeaky wheels are silenced, rinse and repeat.

There’s a whole eco-system of experts and community based whatevers reliant on tax payer dollars.

And they always need more money. And they always get it.  And the problems only ever get worse. And no one ever asks why.

It’s not going to get better. Mass-Immigration will cram in still more bodies.

Crime will only rise. Ghettoization and Tribal No Go Zones will be the fruit of our diversity.  Get strong you’ll need it.

It’s no wonder so many have not returned to work downtown. What’s the draw exactly?

I can have a shootout courtesy of Airbnb in my sleepy section of Etobicoke without the need to visit the belly of the beast.

I can hear the screams and watch the dazed wanderings of the mentally ill dumped out at Kipling Station.

Taxes will increase, services will decrease, businesses will relocate.

You can expect White Flight to gain considerable momentum given the city is funding a race war against them.

At least that’ll take care of the White Liberal Guilt problem paving the way for vibrant new leadership and interesting times galore.

The University of Lethbridge says a speech by a former Mount Royal University professor who was fired in 2021 amid an uproar over her controversial comments on residential schools won’t be allowed space on campus.

But the academic says she still intends to show up and give her talk entitled, “How ‘Woke-ism Threatens Academic Freedom.'”

“They will have to call security and forcibly haul me away to stop me,” Frances Widdowson wrote to CBC News in an email on Monday.

Decades-old Tylenol murders case is revived as Chicago cops use advanced DNA technology to find the killer

Police are using advanced DNA technology to find the killer of seven people murdered in Chicago in 1982 who unknowingly took Tylenol pills laced with a lethal dose of cyanide.

DNA evidence is being collected by several sources, including relatives of the victims and a family that survived the deadly attack that changed the way in which over-the-counter drugs are manufactured.

Specialized technology that extracts trace amounts of human DNA from items to analyze them, even if they’re old or degraded, is being used in the fresh probe.

Jump or be pushed: German conservatives turn on ex-Nazi hunter over race comments

“… Now, after Maassen mused in an interview about “a green-leftist race theory” that casts “whites as inferior” and promotes “immigration by Arabic and African men”, the CDU have lost patience with a man who kept doubling down on culture war tropes, making himself a cult figure on the right fringes.”

Is 2023 the Year of Jihad’s Resurgence?

A machete attack in New York’s Times Square. A stabbing at the Gare du Nord in Paris. A foiled plot in Germany. A shooting in Spain. It’s still only January, but 2023 has already made it clear: the jihadist threat is far from over.

With so much media focus on white supremacist violence these past few years, some might wonder if Islamist violence continues to endanger Western cultures, or whether the fall of the Islamic State signaled a slow but inevitable end. But while Islamist attacks have decreased significantly in the post-ISIS era, several experts caution this is not a time to grow complacent.

The Infinite Elasticity of ‘White Supremacy’

From Ron DeSantis to Memphis, it’s an all-purpose smear.

It’s a struggle to remain shocked by things that are outrageous but inevitable and routine in our political culture — yet it’s still worth the effort.

Falling firmly in that category are the reflexive smears against Florida governor Ron DeSantis as a “white supremacist” for the offense of rejecting a pilot AP course in African-American studies as originally written.
