What should a country prioritize:
Informing Citizens about gang violence, or political correctness?
To all common-sense Canadians, the answer is obvious.
But not for the CBC.
During a recent segment on how men from South Asia dominate the list of gang members that Vancouver authorities warned the public about, a CBC anchor implied that it was “unfair” to release the list because of how it could impact the “perception of young men of colour.”
If Democrats have their way, one of the most detested federal agencies—the Internal Revenue Service—will employ more bureaucrats than the Pentagon, State Department, FBI, and Border Patrol combined.
Under the Inflation Reduction Act negotiated by Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.), the agency would receive $80 billion in funding to hire as many as 87,000 additional employees. The increase would more than double the size of the IRS workforce, which currently has 78,661 full-time staffers, according to federal data.
The Canadian federal budget is on track to be balanced – but it won’t happen until 2041.
That’s the warning from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF), a taxpayer advocacy group known for exposing the dangers of high government spending and rapidly increasing debt.
“Taking another two decades to balance the budget is too long and even that target won’t be met if interest rates tick up, the economy doesn’t grow every single year or politicians can’t find the willpower to say no to new spending,” said the federal director of the CTF Franco Terrazzano.
The federal government is planning to ban the importation of legal handguns into Canada as of August 19 without the oversight of Parliament, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino announced Friday.
Mendicino and Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly said the government is moving forward with the importation ban weeks before Parliament resumes in late September using regulatory measures, the Toronto Sun reported.
As human beings, we have an inherent survival instinct.
In some countries, that survival instinct is almost too strong, which often leads to seeing threats that don’t exist.
But in other countries, a seeming lack of a survival instinct leads to disaster.
Throughout history, countries have been forced into submission, forced into vassal status, and even destroyed, and this has often happened because they couldn’t effectively respond to threats that imperiled their survival.
Unfortunately for us, Canada increasingly appears to be following the path of those nations without a strong enough survival instinct, and time is rapidly running out for our country to prove otherwise.
An article published in the New Delhi Times states that many mosques in Canada are Muslim Brotherhood platforms acting as places of worship, which then receive tax-payer funded status as charities.
An example is found in Imam Aly Hindy’s Salaheddin Mosque in Toronto. The Imam has referred to the 9/11 attacks as a joint CIA operation, and described the Toronto 18 terrorists as “good people.”
The founder of the mosque, Hassan Farhat, left Canada to join an Al-Qaeda-linked group in Iraq, where he allegedly commanded a squad of suicide bombers. Ahmed Khadr, a senior Canadian Al-Qaeda figure, visited the mosque when he was in Toronto while his family worshipped there.
“Canada allows receiving grants and donations to religious organizations, but then these organizations transfer the money to Muslim Brotherhood-associated accounts. For example, the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) is listed as a recipient of a grant worth $125,000.“

President Joe Biden has declared he will “end fossil fuel.” Presidents have declared war on everything from poverty to drugs, but his declaration is much more sinister. His is really a civil war.
The combatants are heavy-handed bureaucrats harassing fellow countrymen who want to do nothing more than fuel their car, cool their home, or use their skills to supply energy or other energy-based products for their neighbors.
Unlike threats such as drugs or poverty, there is no widespread consensus on the “evil” of so-called fossil fuels. Biden’s espoused targets might be coal and oil corporations, but the collateral damage is you and me.

Project Veritas has published an undercover document from the FBI which lists a number of symbols of America’s founding as “extremist” and tied to “Militia Violent Extremists,” or MVEs, according to American Military News.
The symbols identified as extremist in the FBI’s document include the Betsy Ross American Flag, the Gadsden “Don’t Tread on Me” flag, symbols of the Second Amendment, and other imagery closely related to the Revolutionary War period. It’s information like this that begs for the FBI to be dissolved and a new agency constructed in its place.

Convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) member Hatem Fariz is back in Israel, once again leading a tour for his terrorist supporting friends. This particular trip has them attending different weddings. One of the attendees, Isayed Darawad, is a surprise, as he is a member of the US Army. And though he may wear green camos with a ‘Stars and Stripes’ patch, this is a man who believes America’s friend Israel doesn’t exist and wants to see her Jewish citizens dead. Why is Israel allowing terrorist operatives into her country, and why is the US allowing their supporters into the military?
It’s no secret that the mainstream media has abandoned objective reporting for a long time. The left-leaning — and often more than leaning — narratives from the press aren’t hard to miss.
But there’s more at play than just reporting the news from one particular viewpoint. The mainstream media, along with social media and cultural tastemakers, attempt to lead the public to question anything that doesn’t hew to a far-left narrative. The end result, in the hopeful minds of the media, is that everyone who consumes their media will move to the left politically and culturally.
Killing terrorists is no substitute for strategy
With Ayman al-Zawahiri dead, now is time for Washington to abandon the failed counterterrorism policies of the last two decades. Rather than vindicating that approach, as supporters of the Biden administration claim, the al-Qaeda leader’s assassination shows how little it has accomplished. This may well be America’s last chance to fundamentally reorient its foreign policy before the country suffers far more devastating losses than those it has inflicted on itself during the War on Terror.

The ministry’s statement comes on the heels of United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres sharply criticizing the world’s energy companies for making a profit at the expense of the poor.
On Wednesday, Guterres said the world’s top energy companies made $100 billion in the first quarter of this year and that those profits should be taxed and then used to support the most vulnerable people through difficult times.
