CBC Host Implies It’s “Unfair” For Police To Inform Public About Gangs Because Of Political Correctness

What should a country prioritize:

Informing Citizens about gang violence, or political correctness?

To all common-sense Canadians, the answer is obvious.

But not for the CBC.

During a recent segment on how men from South Asia dominate the list of gang members that Vancouver authorities warned the public about, a CBC anchor implied that it was “unfair” to release the list because of how it could impact the “perception of young men of colour.”

This week, in an update its style guide, the Journal states that while it will allow reporters to continue using the term “illegal immigration” to describe the process of illegal aliens arriving and staying in the U.S., it will no longer permit reporters to describe individuals as “illegal” or “illegal immigrant” in an effort to stop “labeling people.”

“No place for racism in hockey”: Justin Trudeau and Ron MacLean tackle hockey and social justice

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared in a panel conversation with Hockey Night in Canada host Ron MacLean and hockey legend Willie O’Ree to speak about social justice and racism on Monday afternoon.

During the event, Trudeau gave an opening statement and condemned the issue of discrimination within the sport.

“Hockey brings Canadians together and there’s no place for racism or discrimination of any kind in Canada’s game,” said Trudeau during his opening statement.

‘White lives matter’ banner taken down in California suburb, calling it ‘a despicable act of vandalism’

A “White Lives Matter” banner went up on Sunday at Smith and Dyer streets in Union City CA, just north of Oakland. It was immediately taken down and denounced by officials.

“This is despicable and we removed it immediately,” said Union City Mayor Carol Dutra-Vernaci. The sign was strategically placed in one of the town’s busiest intersections.

The conflict goes back to September, incidentally, the month when Neef was appointed director. Then the artists of the Paris Opera House issued a manifesto entitled “On racial issues at the Paris Opera”, in which they said, among other things, that performers of colored skin will refuse to be masked as white when, for instance, dancing the role of a white swan.

Ignorant PC Nazis end Durham Region Camp X exhibit over military emblem

After eight years, it’s gone.

Earlier this month, Historian Lynn Philip Hodgson was shocked to open an email concerning his exhibit on Special Training School No. 103 — popularly known as Camp X — which since 2012 has resided at Durham Region’s Whitby headquarters.

The so called offensive “Iron Cross” symbol is still in use by Germany’s Airforce and pre-dates the Nazi era.
