There is a new push in Canada, as well as other countries under the direction of organizations like the IMF and WEF, to implement Central Bank Digital Currencies(CBDCs). CBDCs are a digital dollar that would be fully under the control of central banks and governments.
There are some very obvious dangers of a CBDC system and some not so obvious ones. If Canada were to implement CBDCs it would eventually put an end to cash transactions, and along with it the ability to perform any transaction anonymously. Think of a woman inside an abusive marriage, she would have no way to store money to use that her husband would not be able to track in some way, so escaping him would be made exponentially more difficult.

An investigation by the National Post revealed that of the 127,147 km Trudeau has flown since last June, 50,680 km of his travel took place in the last seven weeks alone. As the outlet notes, the total distance – in terms of burning jet fuel – is the equivalent of travelling around the world three times.
Accused Of Terrorism, Non-Citizen Mohamed Slahi Sues Canada For $35 Million
Mohamedou Ould Slahi is not a Canadian citizen. According to media reports, he spent a total of two months living on Canadian soil. A citizen of the African nation of Mauritania, Slahi has a history of involvement with radical organizations, including connections with Al Qaeda.
Slahi’s cousin and former brother-in-law is Mahfouz Ould al-Walid. Previous to the September 11 attacks in the United States, Al-Walid was a spiritual adviser to Osama bin Laden. In 1999, Slahi spent several months in Montreal, Canada. The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) put Slahi under surveillance for several weeks, but did not find grounds to arrest him. Mohammed Slahi left Canada on January 21, 2000, returning to his home country Mauritania.
Now, he wants $35 Million Dollars from the government of Canada. In his statement of claim, Slahi wrote “Canada’s sharing of flawed intelligence sparked a vicious echo chamber.”
