Zuckerberg Is Going to Influence Elections Again After All

The nonprofit Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) now promises it will refrain from funding midterm elections in the fall. However, CTCL also announced on Monday its “nonpartisan collaborative” to “help local election departments improve operations, develop a set of shared standards and values, and obtain access to best-in-class resources to run successful elections.”

The organization won’t fund midterm elections, but it will help local election departments.

CTCL received approximately $350 million in donations from the Chan-Zuckerberg Foundation. Much of the money was sent to democrat strongholds in swing states, distributed in the form of grants.

‘Grooming’ Is A Perfect Word To Describe What’s Going On In America’s Classrooms

Parent and community concerns in the United States have drawn criticism for their use of the term grooming to describe the ideological manipulation taking place in public schools around the country — isolating children from their parents and replacing them with hyper-activist teachers and counselors. This is displayed most often in intersectional shaming, identity workshops, school-sponsored social pressure and interfering directly with the child-parent relationship.

Trudeau Angers Canadians By Referring To Easter As “Long Weekend”

In April 2021, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau angered Canadians by failing to acknowledge the Christian festival of Easter in his public message.

Trudeau referred to Easter Holidays as long weekend. “It’s the start of a long weekend, and I know that means you’d normally be getting together with your entire family for a few days of fun.”

We contrast this with PM Trudeau’s public statement acknowledging the 30-day celebration of Ramadan, the holiest time of the year for Muslims around the world:

“It[Ramadan] remains one of the holiest holidays in the Muslim community. It’s a time for prayer,a time for reflection and self-restraint, and a time to celebrate the values at the core of Islam.”

Defunding The CBC Would Strengthen Freedom Of The Press In Canada

A massive, centralized, state-run media institution is antithetical to the free and open exchange of ideas we should want to see in this country.

Ivermectin, A Potential Anticancer Drug Derived From An Anti-Parasitic Drug

Ivermectin has powerful antitumor effects, including the inhibition of proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenic activity, in a variety of cancer cells. This may be related to the regulation of multiple signaling pathways by ivermectin through PAK1 kinase. On the other hand, ivermectin promotes programmed cancer cell death, including apoptosis, autophagy and pyroptosis. Ivermectin induces apoptosis and autophagy is mutually regulated. Interestingly, ivermectin can also inhibit tumor stem cells and reverse multidrug resistance and exerts the optimal effect when used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs.

IVM not only has strong effects on parasites but also has potential antiviral effects. IVM can inhibit the replication of flavivirus by targeting the NS3 helicase [17]; it also blocks the nuclear transport of viral proteins by acting on α/β-mediated nuclear transport and exerts antiviral activity against the HIV-1 and dengue viruses [18]. Recent studies have also pointed out that it has a promising inhibitory effect on the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which has caused a global outbreak in 2020 [19]. In addition, IVM shows potential for clinical application in asthma [20] and neurological diseases [21]. Recently scientists have discovered that IVM has a strong anticancer effect.

Will Putin Use Nuclear Weapons in Ukraine?

IN 1994, George F. Kennan spoke at the Council on Foreign Relations on the occasion of his ninetieth birthday. His remarks, which were excerpted in the New York Times, continue to make for fascinating reading. They focused on the abiding preoccupation of his career—American relations with Russia. He recalled that he had originally argued for a containment policy of the Soviet Union after World War II, which the Truman administration largely implemented. But Kennan also observed that after the West had made it clear that it would not permit Stalin to make any further inroads into Europe, he was disappointed to discover that neither Washington nor the Western allies had any real interest in entering into discussions with Moscow. “What they and the others wanted,” Kennan said, “from Moscow, with respect to the future of Europe, was essentially ‘unconditional surrender.’ They were prepared to wait for it. And this was the beginning of the forty years of cold war.”

Did a sex offender really expose ‘her penis’?

Whenever I read a news article that claims a woman has committed some horrendous crime that is uncommon for women to commit, such as murder or sexual assault, I have a new rule I apply.

To test whether this has really happened, I open the link and immediately search for the word ‘transgender’. Whenever I do this, I am almost always informed that the assailant was not, in fact, a woman.
