“Trudeau has lost his mind. He is completely nuts and is holding an entire country hostage.” Dr. Moseley called Trudeau a psychopath and added: “we can see Trudeau going all Hitler on the population.”
Canada has lost sight of the true size of its pandemic, with the number of people infected with COVID-19 now a mystery, as the highly infectious Omicron variant overwhelms testing capacity across the country.
In this episode of The Andrew Lawton Show, True North’s Andrew Lawton says the pandemic is over when you decide it is, and the latest lockdowns prove that governments have no interest in science or civil liberties. Also, Westphalian Times senior editor Marie Oakes joins the show to discuss Quebec’s extreme restrictions, and why Canadians are heading for the border in droves.

Parents of Lakeview Elementary students were outraged after finding out their children had returned from winter break and were being made to eat their meals outdoors as part of the school’s COVID policies on social distancing. One mom, who has two children enrolled in the school’s first and third grades, said her husband called the school to ask about the policy after their kids complained, only to be told that children would be required to eat outside “as long as temperatures did not drop below 38 degrees Fahrenheit,” the Kirland Reporter stated.
The For the People Act of 2021 replaces state voter ID rules with a signed statement from the voter, and makes permanent the pandemic’s mail-in ballot voting. The mailing out of blank absentee ballots en masse would become a fixture of American elections. But the bill goes well beyond that: for example, replacing the bipartisan structure of the Federal Election Commission with one-party control and regulating advertising in newspapers and other media.
President Joe Biden has achieved a historic milestone less than a year into his presidency, but the mainstream media don’t want you to know about it.
According to “the best available global dataset on the pandemic,” which is published and updated daily by Johns Hopkins University and relied on by Google and the New York Times, more Americans have died from COVID-19 since Biden took office than during the final year of Donald Trump’s presidency.

As the Congressional Select Committee winds its way to its pre-ordained conclusion that what happened at the Capitol last year was an attempt by former President Trump, every elected Republican, anyone who has ever worn a red hat (MAGA-emblazoned or not), and everyone who has ever stayed at a hotel to overthrow the government, it should be noted — quite clearly and succinctly — that seven hours in January was not Seven Days in May.

Transgender ideology is relentlessly promoted by the elites – despite huge opposition from ordinary people.
For thousands of years, the biological distinction between male and female was considered a simple fact of life. But no more. According to a survey by pollsters Rasmussen Reports, a significant minority of Americans reject the claim that male and female are the only two genders.
While 75 per cent of those polled agree that there are only two genders, 18 per cent disagree. Eighteen per cent may be a clear minority, but as a proportion of Americans it is still a substantial number of people.

Raise your glass to Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who hypocritically escaped record Covid cases in her home state of New York to drink cocktails and attend a drag brunch in free Florida. It’s not uncommon for a politician’s vacation to become the subject of national criticism, but in response, AOC has managed to deploy the worst communications strategy since “hiking the Appalachian trail” became code for banging your mistress in Argentina.
After being called out on Twitter for her newly attained snowbird status — and her boyfriend’s gaudy choice in footwear — AOC declared that her critics are just upset that they don’t get to sleep with her.

A national organization of medical students successfully pressures their schools to embrace radical identity politics.
On June 25, 2021, White Coats for Black Lives (WC4BL), a national organization of medical students, published its statement of “vision and values.” The “dominant medical practice in the United States has been built on the dehumanization and exploitation of Black people,” the document read, and WC4BL exists to rid the medical system of this allegedly pervasive racism. Doing so requires not only “dismantling anti-Black racism, white supremacy, capitalism, imperialism, colonialism, and cisheteropatriarchy,” but also “dismantling fatphobia,” embracing “Black queer feminist praxis,” and “unlearning toxic medical knowledge.”
The media is determined to identify a new danger to society

Earlier this week, The Times rang in the New Year with a story titled “Massive rise in use of incel sites that call for women to be raped.” The Guardian and then The Independent quickly followed suit.
Each piece remained true to the formula: it begins with the news peg, in this case, an apparent “spike” in UK traffic to “hate-filled incel forums,” which has risen from 114,420 to 638,505 between March and November of last year according to the Centre for Countering Digital Hate.

The Walt Disney owned Hulu film company premiered a new one hour documentary on December 21, 2021 entitled “No Good Deed—A crowdfunding Holiday Heist.” The film, produced in Philadelphia by two 6ABC news reporters, explored one of the greatest scams to hit the world of GoFundMe fundraising: How three people, Mark D’Amico, Kate McClure and a homeless veteran named Johnny Bobbitt concocted a heartwarming tale to get the public to donate to a GoFundMe in Bobbitt’s honor as a reward for Bobbitt’s giving up his last twenty dollars to help McClure when she ran out of gas in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond neighborhood.

“I’ve written before about China’s increasingly brazen indications that it plans to force a “reunification” with Taiwan sometime in the not-so-distant future. For its part, Taiwan is clearly worried about the possibility China could overwhelm its defenses but remains defiant. The US has been selling Taiwan arms, sending warships through the Taiwan strait and even training Taiwanese troops. All of it raises the possibility of a real confrontation over Taiwan, one that could be extremely costly to both China and the US.
Would Taiwan agree to a scorched earth policy?

The White House is writing off an ally to appease an enemy.
The situation in Ukraine has become very grave.
On December 17, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin sent U.S. president Joe Biden an ultimatum, effectively demanding that NATO abandon Eastern Europe or face military action. Biden agreed to a phone conversation with Putin to talk it over, giving the Kremlin what it sought: The affected countries were now on the table instead of at the table. When the two then talked on December 30, according to the White House, Biden rejected the ultimatum and informed Putin that if he proceeded to invade Ukraine, he would face strong economic sanctions from the U.S. and its European partners. Putin then countered by saying that such sanctions would result in a “complete rupture in relations” between Russia and the U.S.
This is not a surprise. Ukraine or Taiwan, who will be first?

UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas may be smashing records and winning races against women, but LGBTQ advocates say the transgender-athlete issue is a loser.
A Transgender Law Center “messaging guide” posted online last month found that no matter how the issue was framed, “no arguments we tested bested the opposition in a direct debate on sports policy.”
A tenured Calgary professor who made headlines in 2020 for criticizing the Black Lives Matter movement and espousing the educational benefits of residential schools confirmed Tuesday she has been fired.
Frances Widdowson had been an associate professor at Mount Royal University in the department of economics, justice and policy studies since 2008.
She gained notoriety in 2020, when she said the Black Lives Matter movement had “destroyed” the university, that residential schools gave Indigenous children an education that “normally they wouldn’t have received,” and that tens of MRU faculty members had opposed her.

National Geographic author and Egyptologist Kara Cooney falsely claimed Kyle Rittenhouse killed “two black men” with a semiautomatic weapon in her new book The Good Kings, which covers how ancient Egyptian history manages to get political and discusses Rittenhouse’s trial.

The sight of a man in his 50s flashing his (Ed. Culturally appropriated!) Haida raven tattoo as he received his booster was a timely reminder that Tuesday was the first day that over-55s could get the shot in Quebec.
Trudeau says Canadians are ‘angry’ and ‘frustrated’ with the unvaccinated
With the Omicron-driven pandemic wave sweeping the country, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canadians are growing more angry and frustrated with people who still refuse to get vaccinated.
Trudeau said that while most Canadians have stepped up to get their shots — putting Canada near the top of the list of countries with the highest vaccination rates — the unvaccinated remain a problem.
