The life and crimes of accused Waukesha Christmas parade killer Darrell Brooks

MILWAUKEE — The man who turned a quaint, small town Christmas parade into a blood-soaked nightmare that left six dead and over 60 injured is a career criminal who’s spent more than half of his life trapped in a revolving door of incarceration, drug abuse and violence.

Darrell Brooks, 39, allegedly used a red Ford Escape to plow through revelers at an annual Christmas celebration in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday, but his life of crime started 22 years ago when he was just 17 years old.

‘I apologize sorta’: David Suzuki

‘I apologize’: David Suzuki says he was wrong to warn that pipelines will be blown up

EDMONTON – Environmentalist and TV host David Suzuki apologized Thursday for comments he made about exploding pipelines.

On Saturday, while participating in a protest in Victoria, Suzuki told CHEK News that, “There are going to be pipelines blowing up if our leaders don’t pay attention to what’s going on.”

After criticism, including from the premier of Alberta, Suzuki attempted to clarify that his statements were not an indication of support for violence or destruction but simply a prediction.

The science is settled: That is not a sincere apology.

Bloomberg: Canadian Wages Shrink amid Mass Immigration

Wages in Canada are shrinking under the double damage of immigration and inflation, says a report by Bloomberg News.

“About 1.9 million [immigrant] newcomers entered the country in the five years through December … [so]  workers, with fewer labor shortages acting as leverage, are scoring tiny wage increases — currently running at 2% on average — that leave them poorer after inflation of almost 5% is factored in,” says the November 21 report.

But in the United States, U.S. employers are being forced to pay higher wages because voters elected President Donald Trump and his pro-American lower-immigration policy in 2016, Bloomberg.com notes

We’re back in familiar territory – growing concern about a new variant of coronavirus.

The latest is the most heavily mutated version discovered so far – and it has such a long list of mutations that it was described by one scientist as “horrific”, while another told me it was the worst variant they’d seen.

It is early days and the confirmed cases are still mostly concentrated in one province in South Africa, but there are hints it may have spread further.

Immediately there are questions around how quickly the new variant spreads, its ability to bypass some of the protection given by vaccines and what should be done about it.

There is a lot of speculation, but there are very few clear answers.

Israel warns of ‘emergency’ after detecting new virus strain

JERUSALEM (AP) — Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Israel is “on the threshold of an emergency situation” on Friday after authorities detected the country’s first case of a new coronavirus variant in a traveler who returned from Malawi.

The Health Ministry said the traveler and two other suspected cases, all of whom had been vaccinated, were placed in isolation.

A new coronavirus variant has been detected in South Africa that scientists say is a concern because of its high number of mutations and rapid spread among young people in Gauteng, the country’s most populous province.

There is great excitement in the MAGA movement this month because the 2021 elections telegraphed that a red tsunami is coming in 2022. Then the Marxists brazenly and blatantly cheated us out of that victory on a scale never before seen in America, and they have ever since been engaged in Soviet-style, culture-wide suppression of that truth to the huge portion of our population still beguiled by their false narratives.
