DA probing ‘Rust’ shooting knows who loaded gun

The district attorney probing the “Rust” film set shooting says she knows who loaded the gun Alec Baldwin used to accidentally shoot dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Santa Fe DA Mary Carmack-Altwies declined to name the person in an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, as she weighs whether to bring criminal charges over the Oct. 21 fatal shooting.

Asked if she was aware who loaded the fatal live round, Carmack-Altwies said: “We do, yes.”

London attack suspect was inspired by New Zealand mosque shooter, sources say

Written materials allegedly found by police following the June killing of a Muslim family in London, Ont., indicate the alleged attacker was influenced by the gunman who took 51 lives at two New Zealand mosques in 2019.

Multiple sources familiar with the investigation confirmed to Global News that a large volume of ideological writings, some allegedly penned by the suspect himself, were seized during the investigation into the vehicle attack that left four dead.

COP26 ‘Route Zero’ pledge to eliminate car emissions omits the biggest buyers and sellers

When the COP26 climate summit began last week, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had high hopes that countries would commit to ending the sale of gas-powered cars by 2030.

But a pledge announced at the summit Wednesday involving 24 countries, including Canada, falls well short of that goal and leaves much of the global market moving far slower toward zero-emission vehicles.

How Covid despots humiliated America

The Democrats have become public health technocrats

A year after Biden’s election, the question of whether anyone really intended to destroy democratic republicanism in the United States is now moot. Forty-six years ago, a headline in New York’s Daily News read “Ford to City: Drop Dead.” Today, the Biden administration and its legion of corporate media and big tech allies communicate the same message to the American people so consistently, and so pointedly, that one can only conclude the humiliation of the electorate is a matter of policy. The administration’s undeniable incompetence, fresh evidence of which is forthcoming every day as it squabbles over vaccine mandates and fails to address multiple crises of supply, inflation, and illegal immigration, both masks and serves its managerial method. Not least because the multiplication of crises furnishes a pretext for ever greater extensions of governmental control.

Nancy Pelosi slammed as hypocrite for attending Ivy Getty’s wedding maskless

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been branded a hypocrite for attending the lavish wedding of billionaire oil heiress Ivy Getty over the weekend without a mask — while children in California are being made to wear them in the state’s schools.

Pelosi (D-Calif.), who officiated the ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, faced backlash on social media after photos of her mingling with other maskless wedding guests were published by Vogue on Tuesday.

Christians participate in their own Islamic conquest

History accelerates on the banks of the Rhine, the river that waters the heart of Europe. as Islam moves forward.

When Pastor Klemens Müller looked out the window last week, he couldn’t believe his eyes. A young Afghan was literally emptying his Frauenberg church in Nordhausen. The Afghan, who has lived in Germany for five years, dragged chairs out, emptied the altar, tore up religious and organ music books and did not stop at the cross, which he mutilated. The shattered symbol, Die Welt says, had been saved from the rubble after the bombing of Nordhausen in World War II. It resisted the bombs, not Europe’s masochism.
It is ironic that the vandalized church belongs to the German Lutheran Church (EKD), which is one of the largest boat donors to NGOs in the Mediterranean such as Sea Watch, one of the organizations that bring migrants to Europe.

It’s all ironic …

New VAERS analysis reveals hundreds of serious adverse events that the CDC and FDA never told us about

The CDC and FDA have said the vaccines are “safe and effective.” They haven’t found any serious issues with the COVID vaccines. Zero. Zip. Nada. It was the DoD that found myocarditis.

The evidence in plain sight shows that they are either lying or incompetent. Or both. But of course, the medical community is never going to call them on this.

‘OK’ gesture gets Hamilton high school student kicked out of co-op placement

She says it was an “OK” sign.

Others say it was a symbol of white supremacy.

Though the discrepancy was never resolved, a high school student was kicked out of her hospital co-op placement after flashing the gesture in a social media photo.

“It wasn’t meant to be racist and it wouldn’t happen again,” says Megan Breeze, a Grade 12 student at Sherwood Secondary. “I thought it means ‘OK.’ Like a thumbs-up sign.”

Garbage decision by garbage people.

White House Says It Will Not Shut Down Line 5 Pipeline From Canada

The White House has no plans to shut down a disputed Great Lakes pipeline that brings some 500,000 barrels of crude oil from Canada into the U.S. each day, a spokeswoman said Nov. 9.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer ordered the Line 5 pipeline to be shut down last year.

She said the Calgary-based company that operates it, Enbridge, violated an easement granted decades ago to run a section along state-owned land below the straits of Mackinac.

Coalition rumours are nothing but O’Toole ‘making stuff up,’ says NDP’s Singh

There is no proposal or deal to form a formal Liberal-NDP coalition government when the House of Commons returns later this month, says NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.

During a media availability on Tuesday, Singh was asked about social media posts and comments put out by Conservatives over recent days that suggested a Liberal-NDP coalition was in the works.

More media bullshit, as if this isn’t going to happen.

The NDP and LPC are informally joined at the hip and Canada will soon be Venezuela. Trudeau’s she-media have collectively decided to gas-light us and focus on O’Toole:

The Star – Erin O’Toole is using an imaginary Liberal-NDP alliance to hide his own problems

CBC – Those rumours of a Liberal-NDP deal came at the right time for Erin O’Toole

Most of Ontario’s regional medical health officers must resign by Christmas.

The province’s catastrophe of systems is that grave, and our children and young people have been betrayed.

Kyle Rittenhouse looks like he’s headed for an acquittal, legal analyst says

On Monday, the prosecution’s case against an Illinois teen, 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, collapsed with a confounding unforced error. Watching the trial unfold, I now believe that a key witness’s calm, revelatory description of events, ensured Rittenhouse’s acquittal on five of the six charges in the controversial case.

The Kenosha saga began with the police shooting of knife-wielding Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old black man, in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 23, 2020. Following three days of fiery protests and property destruction, Rittenhouse, then a 17-year-old minor, traveled across state lines, armed with a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 rifle provided by a friend.

Anti-woke University of Austin could reawaken true learning

The best news in academia in a long, long time came with this week’s announcement that distinguished scholars and thinkers are founding a new university “fully committed to freedom of inquiry, freedom of conscience, and civil discourse.”

Put another way, the new University of Austin will stand against “cancel culture,” speech codes, leftist indoctrination, “safe spaces” for students who can’t bear opinions different from their own, obsessions with race and sex to the exclusion of substance, racial preferences in admissions, and hugely expensive administrative staffs.

Interesting, given that Austin is the San Francisco of Texas.

Beef prices soar from labour crunch, freight costs

North American beef prices are soaring as a labour crunch squeezes meatpackers and supply-chain snarls add to freight costs. In Canada, prices for a prime rib roast have risen 20 per cent in the past year and are the highest since at least 1995, Statistics Canada data show. Sirloin and round steaks have surged as much as 10 per cent in the last year and in the U.S. beef steaks are fetching record prices.
