Commander-in-Chief of Woke Justin Trudeau could be removed as prime minister when Canadians go to the polls on Monday. And there would be few tears from me for a man who has taken political correctness to a laughable new level.

The funny thing is, Trudeau has brought his potential downfall on himself. He called the snap election last month, when he did not have to do so. Canadians were not due to go to the polls until 2023, but he thought that he could catch his opponents off guard and ride to victory.

Images captured by The Epoch Times this week showed thousands of illegal immigrants congregating under the Del Rio Bridge in south Texas as they waited to be processed by Border Patrol.

Some 9,000 illegal immigrants, including Haitian, Cuban, and Venezuelan nationals, were in the area, Val Verde County Sheriff Joe Frank Martinez confirmed.

“There’s no other way to depict this other than a completely unmitigated tragedy,” said Dr. Abdu Sharkawy, an infectious diseases consultant at the University Health Network and assistant professor of medicine at the University of Toronto. The death toll highlights the changes hospitals need to make to better control the spread of respiratory diseases now and in the future, he added.

Three officials, representing Canada’s foreign affairs, intelligence and defence departments, told The Globe and Mail that Ottawa was not consulted about the pact, and had no idea the trilateral security announcement was coming until it was made on Wednesday by U.S. President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Voters are heading into Election Day more angry and apathetic about going to the polls than they were at the start of the campaign, a new poll suggests, making the result more uncertain than ever before.

The Ipsos poll conducted exclusively for Global News found more than two-thirds of voters surveyed — 69 per cent — feel the election should not have been called in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s up 13 points from when the election was called, which pollsters say they have not seen before.

‘Enough is enough’: Black civil servants vow to press on with discrimination suit as Liberals promise change

Earlier this year, federal employee Monica Agard broke her silence about being Black in the public service after a senior colleague at the Immigration and Refugee Board’s Toronto office allegedly praised “the good old days when we had slaves.”

Since then, the proposed class-action lawsuit has become one step closer to reality after a motion was filed for it to be certified. It will fall to the newly elected government to decide whether to challenge that.

But as Canadians head to the polls, the Liberals appear to be changing course on the issue with a policy plank promising support for Black workers.

Immigration Policy: To Improve Life– Or Set Up A Liberal Government For Life?

There are elements of Canadian society which one cannot help but find peculiar. That is, if citizens were to become aware of the circumstances in the first place.

According to federal government policy, there are two related issues which justify Canada maintaining the highest per-capita immigration quotas on earth. The first is an aging population, based on the post-World War 2 “baby boomer” phenomenon. This co-exists with a need for people to fill employment gaps resulting from our aging population.

What has never been posited by government or media is simple in conception: why did a series of federal governments permit a population erosion to occur? Are citizens in 2021 to believe Canada’s leading institutions could not predict the inevitability of a shrinking population? This kind of thing doesn’t occur overnight. There were decades upon which to establish policy to rectify a demographic shortcoming.

DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis filed a report this April highlighting concerns that violent content was growing on the Chinese-owned social media platform, from promoting the riot and acts of terrorism to instructing others how to build bombs and sabotage railroad tracks.

The five page report, obtained by the Property of the People transparency watchdog group and shared with Politico Thursday, comes as federal authorities examine the role social media companies like TikTok played in the Capitol riot, which left five people dead and more than 600 people charged with crimes.
