The National Review Would Like You to Stop Upsetting the Left

The strategy of polite surrender isn’t working.

In 1867, Karl Marx published Das Kapital. And it was Trump’s fault.

Or as Jim Geraghty at the National Review argues that the “the most lasting legacy of the Trump presidency will be a culturally dominant progressive left.” Geraghty blames President Trump for undermining a strategy of polite surrender that is exactly the reason why the Left dominates our culture (as it has for 70 years), our politics, and now even corporations.

Republicans Aren’t Obsessed With Critical Race Theory, White Democrats Are

Do Republicans have an “obsession” with or a “fixation” on critical race theory? The Atlantic’s Adam Harris sure thinks so. He penned an article last week explaining this supposed obsession, making note of various GOP bills in state legislatures and Congress that would prohibit the teaching of critical race theory in public schools, or bar government contractors from training that promotes “division between, resentment of, or social justice for” groups based on race, sex, or political affiliation, as one bill passed by the Arkansas legislature put it.

WTF? Billboards aim to expose racism’s violent impact on Black people in Portland

I believe this is properly referred to as the racism of lowered expectations.

Greta Thunberg tweets pro-jihad, anti-Israel propaganda: ‘#GazaUnderAttack’

What does environmental activist and Leftist media icon Greta Thunberg really know about the environment? What does she really know about the science behind the hotly debated issue of climate change? Any thinking person would answer that this youngster merely parrots (with passion) what she is fed. And now Greta has waded into even deeper waters: Israel and the Palestinian jihad. As expected, she again parrots the Leftist-woke echo-chamber.

Jamil Jivani: How Trudeau’s censorious agenda could target Joe Rogan

The most popular podcaster in the world, Joe Rogan, is loved by Canadians. We listen to his show, The Joe Rogan Experience, in big numbers and there’s a buzz every time he talks about our country. Rogan loves us, too. He once told his millions of fans that Canada is “’one of the greatest countries the world has ever known.”

But Rogan — American, popular and controversial — creates exactly the kind of content that Justin Trudeau’s censorship agenda is designed to target.

The First ‘Transgender Bishop’ Shows How Churches Abandon Christianity

For decades, American mainline Protestant denominations have strived to remain culturally relevant, often at the expense of biblical Christian doctrine. Many churches in these denominations may remain faithful to the gospel, but the institutions accept a terrifying degree of heterodoxy among the clergy — as even pastors deny the bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The creepiness of Covid-secure sex

Even as the ‘bonking ban’ is lifted, some experts say you should still mask up for casual sex.

Casual sex was one of the first casualties of lockdown. When the stay-at-home order was issued, Brits were barred from visiting others. Even established couples were told to move in together or accept the consequences of staying apart.

Thankfully, the so-called bonking ban will be lifted next week, as the government permits hugging, kissing and overnight stays with others as part of its next step out of lockdown.

Latest Trudeau Green-scam – A Global Carbon Tax Dreamed Up By The EU

Latest Trudeau Green-scam – A Global Carbon Tax Dreamed Up By The EU

If you thought Canada’s domestic carbon tax was controversial, just wait for its new global equivalent now being negotiated behind closed doors, say Canadians who have been following its progress.

It’s not a secret. In fact the new charge got its own subheading in the recent federal budget.

The plan is to “make sure that regulations on a price on carbon pollution apply fairly between trading partners,” said the budget document. “This levels the playing field, ensures competitiveness, and protects our shared environment.”

It’s prompted, in part, by fear of a Rust Belt repeat. Then, industries hollowed out in rich countries as manufacturing chased cheaper labour. This time, the draw would be from countries with climate regulations to those without.

Horseshit. All it means is that even more money will be extorted from citizens. You can bet the China class will ensure the communist regime and their investments are exempted.

Canadian University Music Society publishes demands to ‘decolonize’ music, including abolishing ‘rudiments of music’ and scales

Queen’s University professors Margaret Walker and Robin Attas wrote a guest editorial for the Canadian Music Society, in which they argue for “decolonizing” music.

In their editorial, addressed “to all who should be concerned,” the co-authors argue that Canada’s music education systems contain “white supremacist and settler colonial structures.”

Colonial hack: How did cyber-attackers shut off pipeline?

Investigators at the largest fuel pipeline in the US are working to recover from a devastating cyber-attack that cut the flow of oil.

The hack on Colonial Pipeline is being seen as one of the most significant attacks on critical national infrastructure in history.

The pipeline transports nearly half of the east coast’s fuel supplies and prices at pumps are expected to rise if the outage is long lasting.
