Officer Kimberly Potter, who fatally shot Daunte Wright, was training rookie at the time

The Minnesota police veteran who fatally shot Daunte Wright was training another officer at the time of her fatal mistake, according to her association rep.

Kimberly Potter, 48, was formally identified Monday night as the officer caught on bodycam footage Sunday thinking she was firing a Taser at the 20-year-old black man — instead gasping, “Holy s–t. I just shot him!”

US Supreme Court: Gun Licensing Fees Are Unconstitutional

The executive summary of the ruling in Murdock v. Pennsylvania (1943) was that it is unconstitutional for a state to levy a tax on people who want to sell religious merchandise.  “A municipal ordinance which, as construed and applied, requires religious colporteurs to pay a license tax as a condition to the pursuit of their activities, is invalid under the Federal Constitution as a denial of freedom of speech, press and religion. The mere fact that the religious literature is ‘sold’, rather than ‘donated’ does not transform the activities of the colporteur into a commercial enterprise.”

What does this have to do with fees to obtain a license to own or purchase a firearm?  The USSC also found, “A State may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by the Federal Constitution.”  This means the entire Bill of Rights as opposed to just the First Amendment.

Hundreds show up for Vancouver rally against child gender transitioning

People’s Party of Canada (PPC) leader Maxime Bernier and independent MP Derek Sloan were two of the featured speakers at the “Stand Up Speak Up” rally in Vancouver on Saturday.

The event was organized to protest child gender transitioning in solidarity with the BC father known as “CD.” CD was arrested on March 16, 2021 and is currently in jail because he spoke out publicly against the medical transition of his 14-year old daughter and violated a court publication ban in doing so.

Trudeau, O’Toole and Singh aren’t all talking about the same problems

Speaking to the Liberal convention on Saturday afternoon, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau argued that politics should be about finding “real solutions” for the “real problems” and “real challenges” that people face.

“My friends, what it all comes down to is this,” he said. “Which party has a real plan for the real problems in the real world?”

That’s easy: PPC.

Pentagon scientists working inside a secretive unit set up at the height of the Cold War have created a microchip to be inserted under the skin, which will detect COVID-19 infection, and a revolutionary filter that can remove the virus from the blood when attached to a dialysis machine.

Joe Biden considers ordering climate confessions

President Joe Biden is readying an executive order that would require companies to disclose the risks they face from climate change, special climate envoy John Kerry said this week.

Kerry didn’t elaborate on the details of the order or the timing, but the move would fulfill a promise Biden made on the campaign trail to require all public companies to report their emissions and climate-related risks.

The Anti-Defamation League is no longer about protecting Jews

B’nai B’rith, a Jewish service organization, founded the Anti-Defamation League in 1913 to fight anti-Semitism. However, perhaps because most Jews are Democrats, the organization has drifted from its mission. Now, under the leadership of Jonathan Greenblatt, a former Obama administration official, the ADL is just another arrow in the Democrat party quiver.

Woke Kindergarten – Anti-American brainwashing starts early.

The Left’s unceasing efforts to turn the young against America will be supercharged with your tax dollars if a radical new plan devoting $6 billion to leftist educational indoctrination becomes law.

The proposed “Civics Secures Democracy Act,” introduced in Congress last month would authorize $1 billion per year in federal grants over six years for K–12 curriculum development, teacher training, and research on the teaching of history and civics.

It would also subsidize left-wing political agitation for course credit.

Cancel culture is real — and it’s getting worse

Cancel culture is real — and it’s getting worse

Both conservatives and liberals should oppose the new censoriousness

In a recent article, UnHerd’s science editor Tom Chivers argues that culture war debates are futile because the people on each side are working with different definitions of key terms. He takes ‘cancel culture’ as an example, arguing that “there’s nothing solid there to argue about” since the term has “no stable or universally agreed definition”. For Chivers, debating the existence of cancel culture is “all mood affiliation and tribalism”.

Harry and Meghan can’t hold a candle to Prince Philip

He showed the self-obsessed duo what a life of public service really looks like.

I’ve never been much of a monarchist. I’m so old that I remember the days when they used to play the national anthem in cinemas after the credits, and one of my earliest memories is of my mother attempting to prise me out of my seat to stand respectfully. (Appropriately, the film was Born Free.) As a counter-jumping sink-school meritocrat, I’m suspicious of any position of privilege conferred on anyone who didn’t earn it. Nevertheless, over the past few years I’ve started to feel the first belated stirrings of monarchism.

The border is even worse than you think

MISSION, Texas — Anyone paying attention to the news knows the situation on the U.S.-Mexico border is terrible. Anyone who actually visits the border discovers it is worse than that.

Here is what is most striking about the government’s response to the unprecedented surge of illegal border crossers: It is entirely improvised. Jury-rigged. Thrown together in a scramble to accommodate thousands of migrants who were not coming just months ago. And the reason it is being improvised is that during his first days in office, President Joe Biden blew up the foundation of the government’s handling of migrants. With a series of executive actions, Biden threw out key policies with nothing ready to replace them. And he did it using rhetoric that invited migrants to rush to the border — more than 172,000 in March alone, including nearly 19,000 unaccompanied children.

Can the Great ‘Awokening’ Succeed?

Wokeism is creating a future group of politically incorrect Trotskyites on a proverbial rendezvous with a Mexican ice pick, given that by birth they will never be woke enough for the new Stalinism.

We all know that we are living in revolutionary times. The origins, ascendence, values, laws, and future of the United States are all under assault by self-described, though accurately described, revolutionaries.

It is a Jacobin, Bolshevik, or Maoist moment. All aspects of life, well beyond politics, are now to be ideologically conditioned. Everything from kindergarten messaging, cartoons, workplace reeducation, and television commercials to college admissions, baseball games, and the airlines are to be “fundamentally transformed” along racial lines.

Navy ships capture video of pyramid-shaped UFOs, orbs flying above

The Pentagon has admitted that a US Navy destroyer captured this eerie night-vision footage of mysterious flashing objects flying above it and another warship.

“It is noted that the ‘spherical’ craft was suspected to be a transmedium vehicle and was observed descending into the water without destruction,” Corbell said, according to the news outlet.

“It is noted that the ‘spherical’ craft could not be found upon entry to the water — and that a submarine was used in the search,” he added.

Why don’t they shoot them down?
