Asylum-Seeking Minors Cost Germany €12.2B Since 2015

Burgergeld – Citizens Money or Welfare in Germany

Since 2015, at least €12.2 billion has been spent on the accommodation and care of unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in Germany, according to exclusive figures obtained by AfD Member of Parliament René Springer. The actual sum is likely significantly higher, as several federal states have provided incomplete or missing data. Between 2015 and 2024, authorities registered nearly 190,000 unaccompanied foreign minors, known as UMAs.

WARMINGTON: Anti-Israel tropes OK at City Hall, but don’t dare show Canadian flag! Oh well we get to enjoy the ̷C̷h̷r̷i̷s̷t̷m̷a̷s̷ “Glittering Tree”

It’s feels like there’s a war on Canada and its traditions in Mayor Olivia Chow’s Toronto where the casualty is our basic freedom.

There is no other conclusion when you have a man harassed for displaying a Canadian flag, or playing the national anthem, while there is zero action from authorities on people presenting propaganda against Israel.

You know where Chow and her Muslim handlers can shove that glittering tree…

Chow has got to go…

Cross-dressing males can no longer join Girlguiding, organisation says

The organisation that oversees girl guide groups in the UK has announced it is banning trans girls from joining.

Girlguiding said the move – which means it will not accept biological boys who identify as girls – was in response to the Supreme Court ruling earlier this year that said sex meant biological sex in equality law.

The trustees said they had made the “difficult decision” with a “heavy heart” and there would be further announcements on what this will mean for current members.

Algoma Steel CEO: Feds knew about plans for layoffs before giving $400M loan

The head of Algoma Steel says the federal government and Government of Ontario knew the company’s business plan included a re-tooling of its Sault Ste. Marie plant that would result in layoffs before they agreed to half a billion dollars in loan assistance to help the company weather the storm of U.S. tariffs.

… Garcia explained to host Vassy Kapelos that cutting jobs at Algoma Steel was “always the future of this company.” Only 1,600 employees are required to operate electric furnaces that can produce 3.2 million tonnes of steel, compared to 3,000 employees operating blast furnaces that produce two million tonnes, he noted.

However, transformation timelines have sped up as a result of unprecedented tariffs imposed by the United States, which have effectively closed off the American market to Canadian steel.

Paganism is top choice for Christians who convert to new faith

Paganism is the most popular spiritual destination for British Christians who convert to another faith, outstripping Buddhism, Islam and Judaism, a study has found.

Religious faith is “fragmenting” in the UK as more than one in ten people who abandon Christianity in Britain take up paganism, wicca or another form of “spiritualism”, according to the report.

While Christianity is still gaining new adherents, these arrivals are outnumbered by people quitting the faith, figures showed. This is leading Christianity to dwindle in Britain overall, casting doubt on recent reports suggesting that a revival may be under way.

Mark Carney and Danielle Smith may be in for more hassle than they bargained for

Danielle Smith was flying high last Thursday as she and Mark Carney signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Calgary. Interesting that it was called an MOU and not an agreement, although most of the news media, and Smith herself, talked about it in those terms.

So now Carney and Smith have an “understanding” that an oil pipeline may be built from Alberta to the northwest coast of B.C. despite the oil tanker ban and B.C. premier David Eby’s objections; the industrial carbon price may go up in Alberta; and Alberta may get its multibillion Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage facility. That’s an awful lot of uncertainty given all the hype and hoopla surrounding the announcement.

The Oxford student who mocked Charlie Kirk still hasn’t learnt his lesson

As a result of his response to the murder of a leading conservative activist – “Charlie Kirk got shot loool” – George Abaraonye will no longer get to serve as the president of the Oxford Union debating society. I’m sure we all agree that this represents a profound loss to the field of philosophical inquiry. Especially now we’ve been told what Mr Abaraonye had been planning to do during his term of office. According to reports, the Oxford PPE undergraduate had intended to hold a debate about the hanging of British flags in public – under the title, “This house believes that flying the flag betrays Great British values.”
