Israel will win. The West is over

Support for Hamas originates in the heart of darkness of Western consciousness, There are more fans of Hamas in the West than in Gaza.

What is this strange evil that afflicts the West and for which the war in Gaza is both a pretext and a revelation? Self-hatred? Fascination with collective suicide?
Hamas is an Islamo-Nazi sect that intended to destroy Israel and its people before attacking the West when the time comes. But it found million of helpers among Western people. Sorcerers’ apprentices, new converts and useful idiots…

Their brainwashing is effective. Newsweek polls say that among young Americans, 48 percent are with Hamas. More than half – 51 percent – believe that the October 7 pogrom in which 1,400 Israelis were massacred was somehow justified. If we did the same survey in Europe we would get the same results.

The strange story behind Joni Mitchell’s ‘outrageous’ blackface experiment

Joni Mitchell will forever be associated with the Laurel Canyon folk music scene of the late Sixties and early Seventies. The scene was a cornerstone of California’s predominantly white, beatnik counterculture; other proponents included The Mamas & the Papas, Carole King, The Byrds and Buffalo Springfield. But this categorisation overlooks the huge influence of jazz and soul music on the career of Mitchell, who turned 80 recently. Indeed, Mitchell’s relationship with black music is one of the most underappreciated yet defining characteristics of her decades in the spotlight.

Terrorists and Saboteurs Are Surging into America

“The migration is going into hyperdrive,” Anthony Rubin, owner of investigative journalist site Muckraker.com, told Gatestone this week. He was referring to individuals traveling by foot, boat and truck to America’s southern border.

A caravan of some 7,000 people, one of the largest ever, is now making its way to the U.S. During the last few weeks, Rubin has been reporting on this mass movement of humanity as it surges toward America.

Those who want to cross the U.S. southern border and do not live in this hemisphere usually fly to Quito because Ecuador allows visa-free entry to Chinese and others, such as those from the Middle East and the Central Asian “stans.”

GUNTER: Bloc supporting Trudeau punishes rest of Canada

It’s no surprise the Bloc Quebecois voted with the Liberals on Monday to maintain the federal carbon tax on home heating. Of course, they did.

Quebecers don’t pay the federal carbon tax. That province has its own made-in-Quebec carbon-pricing scheme, so voting to continue imposing the Liberals’ system on the rest of the country had no consequences for Quebecers, and thus few political consequences for the Bloc.

‘This is a huge blow:’ Toronto’s empty office space crisis worsens as WeWork teeters on bankruptcy

The glut of office space up for grabs in Toronto just got bigger.

News that shared workspace giant WeWork is filing for protection from creditors comes at a time when the office rental market was already struggling with the work-from-home trend, a slumping economy, and a struggling technology industry, real estate analysts say.

“This will absolutely make it more difficult for building owners to lease out office space,” said veteran real estate analyst and consultant John Andrew. “This is a huge blow.”

Chowtown, get used to it.

USA TODAY’s Front-Page Lashing of Libs of TikTok

They still call their national newspaper USA Today, but on some days, the front page looks more like “LGBTQIA Today.”

On October 6, the bold top headline was “When Libs of TikTok posts, threats increasingly follow.” The author is Will Carless, whose beat is “Extremism.” Beware, that beat is almost always just “Right-Wing Extremism.” That’s how they define the wildly successful Twitter account of Libs of TikTok, operated by Chaya Raichik. (She trolled them by happily posing with their hit piece.)

Public-service union president resigns as antisemitic social media posts surface

Camille Awada – newly unemployed

OTTAWA – The head of the third-largest federal public service union resigned suddenly Monday, reportedly after a series of antisemitic social media posts allegedly written by him began circulating among members.

In a terse statement posted on its website Tuesday, the Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) announced that its president, Camille Awada, resigned from the top job on Monday. The union represents 23,000 members, including civilian employees of the RCMP, and employees at Statistics Canada and in the Parliamentary Budget Officer’s department.

I imagine our public service at all levels is peppered with diversity just like this.

‘I’m calling from Israeli intelligence. We have the order to bomb. You have two hours’

The call to Mahmoud Shaheen came at dawn.

It was Thursday 19 October at about 06:30, and Israel had been bombing Gaza for 12 days straight.

He’d been in his third-floor, three-bedroom flat in al-Zahra, a middle-class area in the north of the Gaza Strip. Until now, it had been largely untouched by air strikes.

He’d heard a rising clamour outside. People were screaming. “You need to escape,” somebody in the street shouted, “because they will bomb the towers”.

Immigrants explain why they’re leaving Trudeau’s Canada

Immigrants to Canada are increasingly leaving this country for opportunities elsewhere, according to a study(opens in a new tab) conducted by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship and the Conference Board of Canada.

In fact, the number of immigrants who left Canada rose by 31 per cent above the national average(opens in a new tab) in 2017 and 2019.

According to the study, factors that influence onward migration include economic integration, a sense of belonging, racism, homeownership, or a lack thereof, and economic opportunities in other countries, the report revealed.

Good explainer from Bernier on how 500,000 “immigrants” balloons to 1 million under Trudeau’s math.
