Dublin ‘Let Women Speak’ Event Is Inundated With Trans Radical Activists In Yet Another Attempt To Stifle Women’s Voices

Protestors gathered outside Dáil Éireann Saturday before approaching Kellie-Jay Keen’s Let Women Speak event in Dublin, Ireland. The sea of baby pink, baby blue, and white striped flags could not be ignored as the trans activists marched toward Merrion Square yelling, “Posie Parker, you can’t hide! You got fascists on your side,” as journalist Andy Ngô reported. You can also see one person holding a sign that reads, “Suck my trans balls,” in addition to Soviet flags and Joseph Stalin portraits sprinkled among the LGBTQ+ flags in the clip posted by Ngô.

Queen Elizabeth’s statue goes up at Queen’s Park, despite misgivings of Indigenous MPP

The queen has landed after years in limbo.

… The board includes New Democrat MPP Sol Mamakwa (Kiiwetinoong), who objected to the installation, saying the money would be better used finding the unmarked graves of Indigenous children at residential school sites.

‘I just don’t believe we should be raising taxes:’ Ford agrees Toronto needs a ‘new deal’ to tackle financial crisis

Premier Doug Ford says he agrees that the City of Toronto needs a “new deal” for ongoing funding after holding a meeting with Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow Monday, but says he’s not in favour of any new taxes that would help Toronto dig itself out of a fiscal hole.

Ford and Chow held a meeting at Queen’s Park Monday in their first substantive meeting since Chow took office earlier this summer.

Following the meeting, the two said they had agreed to establish a “new-deal working group with a mandate to achieve long-term stability and sustainability of Toronto’s finances.”

What We Must Believe To Believe Biden Is Innocent

Is it plausible that the real rainmaker of Biden, Inc. was the only one who didn’t get paid?

It’s hardly a surprise that the corporate media have rushed to the defense of President Biden pursuant to the impeachment inquiry announced last week by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. More surprising is the absurdity of the arguments they offer on his behalf. For years, his denials notwithstanding, Biden knew his son ran an international enterprise whose only real service was selling access to the Vice President of the United States to foreign entities who hoped to procure favorable policy decisions from the Obama administration. This operation generated at least $20 million that was doled out to nine Biden family members, yet we are asked to believe that the “Big Guy” didn’t get a cut.

War crime investigators prepare case against Russia over food attacks

Human rights lawyers believe Kremlin is ‘intentionally using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare’

War crimes investigators say they aim to bring the first international prosecution for starvation following Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian food supplies and farming.

The targeting of Ukraine’s agriculture, its farmland and grains stocks, and even civilians searching for food, amounts to a weaponisation of starvation and a clear war crime, investigators argue.

The Censorship Bureaucracy

In a recurring sketch from a popular early 2000s U.K. comedy show called Little Britain, a bank clerk listens to customers’ queries, randomly types on a keyboard, and then deadpans the catchphrase: “computer says no.” Whatever the follow-up questions, no matter how angry or upset customers become, the response remains the same: “computer says no.” This skit lives on in Britons’ collective psyche mainly because it is funny, but also because it points to a familiar sentiment: the frustration of finding oneself stonewalled by an intransigent bureaucracy.

Why Are Palestinians Fleeing the Gaza Strip?

Thousands of Palestinians are continuing to flee the Gaza Strip in search of a better life in other countries, including Canada and the European Union.

In the past few weeks, several videos of Palestinians leaving the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt have surfaced on social media. Other Palestinians have been documented queuing outside the Gaza offices that issue visas for Turkey to obtain a visa to emigrate. These Palestinians are running away because they can no longer tolerate life under the Islamist movement of Hamas. They are not fleeing because of Israel.

“We want to live in dignity,” said a young Palestinian man in one of the videos. “All those who are seeking to emigrate want a dignified life. The young men are risking their lives, they are prepared to die.”

Matthew Lau: Battery plant ‘investments’ confirm Liberals’ financial illiteracy

If Canadians were already frustrated with the Liberal government’s interventionist economic policies, which have produced miserable results to date, then the latest Parliamentary Budget Officer report on a set of floundering subsidies certainly won’t help.

The federal and Ontario governments have promised to give Stellantis-LG Energy Solutions and Volkswagen $28.2 billion to subsidize new electric vehicle battery plants. According to the PBO, it’s going to take them 20 years to break even, far more than the government’s guess of 3.3 years. If this estimate anywhere near accurate, it would make these subsidies a catastrophically bad investment.
