“The View”: Harpies don’t want no migrants neither

This is turning out to be a week of surprises from the lovin’ Left. I cannot think what’s gotten into them.

First it’s Mayor Eric “The Glitz” Adams, flat-out telling the world that the influx of mostly non-English speaking brown people was going to “destroy New York City.” He wasn’t feeling like rapping this sad song.

PM Trudeau stuck in India following G20 summit due to ‘technical issues’ with plane

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s aircraft is experiencing a technical issue that is forcing the entire Canadian delegation to stay in India, where this year’s G20 summit took place.

Trudeau, his delegation and media travelling with the prime minister were set to depart on Sunday night, local time. However, shortly before leaving, the Canadian Armed Forces discovered a mechanical issue that could not be fixed overnight.

Can we take up a collection to keep him there?

Ukraine slams G20 declaration saying it’s ‘nothing to be proud of’ after Biden and other leaders sign on to document that doesn’t call Russia an aggressor in the war

Ukraine called the joint declaration that came out of the G20 Leaders’ Summit this weekend ‘nothing to be proud of,’ after the document failed to label Russia as an aggressor in the war, but banned the use of nukes.

The G20 leaders, including President Joe Biden and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, standing in for Russian President Vladimir Putin, were gathered in New Delhi for the annual meeting.

The host, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, pushed for there to be a joint communique produced at the meeting, after last year’s G20 Leaders’ Summit in Bali concluded without one due to there being a lack of consensus on the Russian invasion.

‘It’s deeply corrosive to our democracy’: What Michael Chong will tell an American probe into Chinese interference about being targeted

QUEBEC CITY—Conservative MP Michael Chong, twice the target of alleged Chinese state interference, will make the case to American legislators Tuesday that more international co-operation is urgently required to thwart Beijing’s efforts to meddle in Western democracies.

His top-line message: If influence operations go unchecked, they will threaten economic prosperity, undermine public confidence in democracy and place social cohesion at risk.

AOC’s constituents slam her claim inflation is propaganda: ‘Is she crazy?’

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might want her followers to believe inflation is “propaganda” — but her constituents aren’t buying it.

The firebrand Democratic congresswoman used her Instagram stories to share a video from New Zealand’s left-wing Aotearoa Liberation League in which an activist claimed the “propaganda” surrounding inflation was designed to protect “greedy shareholders,” who are truly to blame for the rising cost of living.

Trudeau’s Media Outraged Grass Root Conservatives Vote Against Mutilation Of Children’s Genitalia!

Kids love this says Blackie’s media.

Pierre Poilievre’s push to keep convention focused on economy falls to grassroots votes for social policies

QUEBEC CITY—Efforts by Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre to keep his party focused on an economic message to win the next election took a blow Saturday as the party’s grassroots voted in favour of social policies likely to give the Liberals a renewed line of attack.

The majority of party members voted in favour of a ban on providing medical or surgical treatments to minors questioning their gender identity, as well as one that voiced support for “women-only” spaces like bathrooms.

What sort of monster gets their jollies from mutilating children?  I wonder at the medical schools that churn out Mengele’s spiritual offspring.

Ukraine offensive could have only 30 days left – US Army chief

Milley To Deploy Drag Queens

Ukraine has little more than 30 days left of fighting before the weather hinders its counter-offensive, the top-ranking US military officer says.

Speaking to the BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg programme, Gen Mark Milley said colder conditions would make it much harder for Ukraine to manoeuvre.

He admitted the offensive had gone more slowly than expected. But he said: “There’s still heavy fighting going on.

“The Ukrainians are still plugging away with steady progress.”

Advocates call on federal government to fund housing for so called foreign students

Minister, advocates say they fear international students will be blamed for housing crisis

Immigration Minister Marc Miller and student advocates across the country say they worry about immigrants and international students being singled out for blame because of the housing crisis.

“It’s one of my fears,” Miller said in a recent interview with CBC News. “I do worry about the stigmatization of particularly people of diversity that come to this country to make it better, and that includes international students.”

So why did you invite so many Miller? Everyone knows the foreign student scam is just a way to purchase Canadian citizenship.

‘Consumers are lost forever’: Bud Light sales remain 30% down since Dylan Mulvaney marketing debacle

Bud Light’s damages are so severe, there is concern over whether the brand can ever fully recover after the prolonged decline in sales and loss of consumer confidence ever since the Dylan Mulvaney marketing debacle six months ago.

The damage to the brand is now being described as ‘quasi-permanent,’ according to Beer Business Daily publisher Harry Schuhmacher. ‘The Bud Light situation has actually gotten worse,’ he told Fox News Digital.

Despite initial hopes of a rebound, the brand remains down around 30 percent in volume compared to last year, persisting since May or June, and consumers might be lost ‘forever.’

How more homeless encampments in Ontario signal a housing crisis out of control

Homeless encampments have been multiplying across Ontario since the pandemic, but experts say this visible symptom of the national housing crisis has been a long time coming.

With limited shelter space, a lack of social housing, increasing cost of home ownership and ballooning rents, more and more people are left with few options but to pitch a tent in a public space.

But how did we get here? And what can be done?

Toronto Public Health warns of spike in overdoses as city experiences ‘drug toxicity crisis’

Toronto’s public health unit has issued an alert warning of a spike in opioid-related overdose deaths in the city since Aug. 31.

Toronto Public Health (TPH) says 11 people died of suspected opioid-related overdoes between Aug. 31 and Sept. 6, which the health agency says is double the weekly average for the city.

TPH says there have been recent reports of red and green fentanyl linked to overdoses both in the community and at supervised consumption sites, though specific information about those drugs is not yet available. The city’s drug-checking service, according to a media release from Toronto Public Health, continues to find other highly potent opioids and benzodiazepine-drugs in samples expected to be fentanyl.

New data shows hundreds of condos flooding Toronto’s home resale market as investors sell off and get out

Hundreds of condos in downtown Toronto are up for sale, flooding the market as high interest rates spur an exodus of investors, and some homeowners, who are unable to keep up with mounting mortgage costs.

Year-over-year sales for detached and semi-detached homes in the GTA dropped by 12 and 14 per cent, respectively, in August, while townhouse sales rose a modest 0.6 per cent. All three saw price increases. Condo sales, however, jumped by 7.6 per cent but saw average price drop by one per cent, according to the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB).

GOLDSTEIN: Canada a global leader in defusing the real carbon bomb — coal

While you seldom hear about it, Canada is a global leader in reducing the use of coal to generate electricity, the single largest source of energy-related greenhouse gas emissions on the planet.

Forget about the so-called “carbon bomb” of Canada’s oil sands, a favourite target of Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault and other environmental radicals.

How earthquakes happen — and why Morocco was hit harder

Morocco is hardly the first place that comes to mind when people think of earthquakes, but they are actually quite common. Compared with the colossal quakes that shake Turkey, Indonesia, Japan, China and other very seismically active parts of the planet, however, those that affect Morocco are not especially large.

Probably the most infamous is the 1960 Agadir earthquake, which took up to 15,000 lives in the south of the country. More recently another quake in 2004, with an epicentre on the north coast, killed more than 600 people.
