Family Groups and LGBT Activist Uniting Against Bill That Could Make Pedophiles a Protected Class

In an unlikely alliance, Christian family values groups and an LGBT activist have signed a petition against a proposed Connecticut bill they say could make pedophiles a protected sexual minority.

The bill, HB 6638, would revise the language of the state’s anti-discrimination statutes.

The current definition of “sexual orientation” in Connecticut law excludes protections for “any behavior that is a sex offense crime.” An update to the law would remove that wording.

France: Submission to Islamism Quickly Gaining Ground

Avignon France – City of Popes

May 16, 2023. The French examining magistrates in charge of the case of the murder of Samuel Paty, a high school teacher savagely beheaded on October 16, 2020 in Conflans Sainte Honorine, a small city in the suburbs of Paris where he taught, reveal the list of those they have decided to indict.

The list of 14 people does not include the murderer, Abdullakh Anzorov: he was shot dead by police. Prior to Paty’s murder, his name was in the database of the Central Office for the Fight against Crime, but he had not been placed under police surveillance. He was a Chechen Muslim, age 18, with refugee status in France, and had sought to join Islamic terrorist organizations in the Middle East. Two young French radicalized Muslims, Azim Epsirkhanov and Naïm Boudaoud, had accompanied him to a store where he bought a hunting knife to cut off his victim’s head. Both men told the investigators that they knew what Abdullakh Anzorov wanted to do and that they approved of it. They are being prosecuted for “criminal association”. Their prison sentence will not exceed 10 years; they will be eligible for release after seven or eight years — dismayingly little.

Two convoy protesters win right to new change of venue hearings

Two men charged in connection with last year’s convoy protest are expected to apply for a second time to have their trials heard somewhere outside Ottawa.

Former MPP Randy Hillier and protest organizer Pat King were granted the right to re-apply for a change of venue in recent decisions issued by Superior Court Justice Kevin Phillips. He set aside earlier decisions, issued April 26, that summarily dismissed those applications.

Irish people could be jailed for ‘hate speech’, critics of proposed law warn

Irish citizens who campaign against transgender women being able to use female changing rooms or crisis centres risk jail under an “Orwellian” hate-speech law, critics have claimed.

The Irish senate last week debated the controversial Criminal Justice (Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences) Bill 2022.

The bill seeks to expand the range of people protected from hate speech to include those with “gender identities”, including transgender or “gender other than those of male or female”.

Killer cows: the one-tonne menace bringing fear to the footpath

The last thing Teresa Holmes could remember when she woke up was walking in the West Yorkshire countryside with Michael, 57, her husband of 34 years, on one of their regular lunchtime rambles. After being airlifted to hospital where she had been unconscious for a week, she awoke to white lights, antiseptic smells and bleeping machines. Michael was nowhere to be seen. Her daughters and the doctors had to tell her that she was now a widow and would be paralysed for life.

Liberals must do more to ‘safeguard’ democracy from foreign interference: O’Toole

Former Conservative leader Erin O’Toole says as more reports of alleged foreign interference have surfaced, including ones involving himself, the Liberals and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have not done enough to “safeguard” democracy.

That’s because Trudeau and the Liberals work for the CCP.

Twelve-year-olds are being taught about anal sex in school while nine-year-olds are told to ‘masturbate’ for homework: The shocking lesson plans used by teachers in UK classrooms

Schoolchildren are being taught about anal sex and orgasms before they have reached puberty and set ‘masturbation’ as homework, secretive lesson plans reveal.

Many teachers are ‘indoctrinating’ children with scientifically false claims about biological sex, presenting gender as fluid and furthering a narrative that people can be born in the wrong body.

It comes as the NHS is facing a mass legal action from 1,000 families who claim their children were rushed into taking life-changing puberty blockers’ by the Tavistock Centre.

Trudeau hosts a gong show: Growing list of ministerial missteps undermines confidence in government

Ottawa’s favourite game show – gong show, some might say – is about to begin. And now, here he is, your host for the evening, Justin Trudeau.

“Good evening everyone and welcome to Name That Minister. Let’s see if our panel can guess their identity.

“Who said that he was shocked that serial killer Paul Bernardo was being transferred from maximum to medium-security detention, though his office knew in advance?”

Rebellion Spreads as Catholic School Students Reject ‘Pride’ on Their Campus

A second incident of young people spontaneously rising up against “Pride Month” celebrations in their school occurred on June 8 in Toronto, Canada. The drama started at the end of May, when the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB ) voted against a proposal to fly the hideous “Progressive Pride” flag at its headquarters in June. This led to a supposedly student-organized walkout and demonstration across the district’s schools. But for the second time this “Pride,” students opposed to having sexualized Leftist dogma forced into their school stood up to it.

Is this a change to communism election? Can Olivia Chow be beaten?

With just over a week to go until election day, Municipal Affairs Reporter Shawn Jeffords weighs in on some key questions about where the race to become Toronto’s next mayor is going in the final days.

What’s the last week of this thing going to look like?

We’ll see more campaign announcements and a shift to rallies where candidates can project confidence and a sense of momentum ahead of election day. Campaigns will make last ditch efforts to sway undecided voters.

Behind the scenes will be a different story as each team’s get-out-the-vote operations gear up to motivate, and sometimes literally deliver, their supporters to the polls on election day.

Toronto’s collective IQ seems to have shrunk to a new low. Don’t drink the water.

Part of the problem was Ford’s endorsement of the uninspiring Saunders.  This has split what is laughably called the “right.” Furey is the only candidate among the also ran’s to have earned that designation.
