The Biden Administration’s Vacuum of Leadership

Due to the vacuum of leadership that the Biden administration has left on the global stage, China, Russia and the Iranian regime have become more empowered and emboldened than ever — a situation that helps the Iranian regime to skirt US sanctions. It also enables the ruling mullahs to gain access to funds and advanced military materiel, empower its militia and terror groups in region, and especially accelerate its race towards acquiring nuclear weapons.

He said school officials told him other students were complaining that it made them feel ‘unsafe’ and was ‘disrupting education.’

Iranian Insider and British Spy: How a Double Life Ended on the Gallows

In January, Iran executed a former senior official who provided Britain with valuable intelligence on Iranian nuclear and military programs over a decade, according to Western intelligence officials.

In April 2008, a senior British intelligence official flew to Tel Aviv to deliver an explosive revelation to his Israeli counterparts: Britain had a mole in Iran with high-level access to the country’s nuclear and defense secrets.

The spy had provided valuable information — and would continue to do so for years — intelligence that would prove critical in eliminating any doubt in Western capitals that Iran was pursuing nuclear weapons and in persuading the world to impose sweeping sanctions against Tehran, according to intelligence officials.

First Republic Bank Is Seized by Regulators and Sold to JPMorgan Chase

Regulators seized control of First Republic Bank and sold it to JPMorgan Chase on Monday, a dramatic move aimed at curbing a two-month banking crisis that has rattled the financial system.

First Republic, whose assets were battered by the rise in interest rates, had struggled to stay alive after two other lenders collapsed last month, spooking depositors and investors.

First Republic was taken over by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and immediately sold to JPMorgan. The deal was announced hours before U.S. markets are set to open, and after a scramble by officials over the weekend.

Crowd displeaser: As Online Streaming Act becomes law, just about everyone is unhappy

To support its cultural industries in the face of American dominance, Canada has for many decades depended on regulating television and radio broadcasters to share and finance Canadian stories and songs. Yet the barely regulated internet, a product of Silicon Valley’s maverick free-market mindset, now allows users to make and hoover up the content of their choosing. For people seeking stories and songs around the world, borders now barely exist.

The federal government has been trying since 2020 to wrangle together legislation that would force streaming services such as Netflix and Spotify to promote and finance the country’s cultural content just like old-guard broadcasters must. It finally received royal assent on April 27, but it wasn’t easy. What unfolded in the past few years far more resembled an agonizing battle than a nation-building exercise.

Canadians can’t afford groceries but Trudeau buys PSAC vote bloc loyalty with 12.6 per cent raise compounded over four years and a $2500.00 pension payment

Tentative agreement reached for 120,000 public servants

… In a statement on its website, PSAC said the tentative agreement includes wage increases of 12.6 per cent compounded over four years, and a one-time, pensionable lump sum payment of $2,500.

It includes language on remote work that gives members “additional protection” from “arbitrary decisions,” and it requires managers to assess requests individually instead of by group, and give responses in writing to allow members and PSAC to “hold the employer accountable to equitable and fair decision-making,” PSAC said.

Trudeau and his civil servants are vile thieves. I will vote for the party that vows to slice and dice the public service unions.
