Dutch Farmers Revolt Against Globalist Food Control That Leaves People Poorer And Hungrier

The stunning political win of the Farmer-Citizen Movement in recent provincial elections in the Netherlands was a populist backlash against ambitious environmental initiatives to eliminate thousands of law-abiding, multi-generational farmers to reduce nitrogen and other alleged pollutants. A similar clamor of farmers in Belgium recently blocked the streets of Brussels with 2,700 tractors. Environmental policies that measure nitrogen and carbon but ignore future food supplies are reckless.

Ending the Fentanyl Crisis Starts by Securing the Border

President Joe Biden has spent two-plus years in office ignoring the border and undermining proven efforts to stop the flow of drugs and illegal immigrants.

Today, I will hold a town hall in Salem, N.H. But I’ll start by discussing another town, just a few miles to the south. Lawrence, Mass., isn’t a place most people know. But for anyone in New England who has lost a loved one to fentanyl, there’s a good chance Lawrence played a painful role.

The border is a route in, shut it down and new ones will open.  Unless you can stem demand nothing will work.

TikTok and 9/11

Both pose serious threats to our nation, as Congress’ recent hearing reveals.

What does TikTok have in common with 9/11?

On Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked airplanes and committed suicide attacks on the World Trade Center’s twin towers in New York City and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. These terrorists took advantage of the freedoms in the U.S. to be trained as pilots and organize the attacks. In responding to this new type of terrorist attack, the U.S. instituted several new measures.

Shattered: Catholic community confronts its founder’s lies

ROCCA DI PAPA, Italy (AP) — The findings of an initial expert report were astonishing: One of the 20th century’s revered Catholic leaders, who built an international movement of community care for people with intellectual disabilities, perverted Catholic doctrine about Jesus and Mary to justify his own sexual compulsions and abuse women.

The findings of a second report were even worse: The movement he created had at its core a secret, mystical-sexual “sect,” and was founded for the precise purpose of hiding the sect’s deviant activities from church authorities.

Do White Leftists Really Hate Themselves?

Having rich tastes and a fashionable ZIP code does not prevent such a person from doing nasty (and, yes, antiwhite racist) things.

For about a decade a self-described “conservative” has been flooding me with email notes arguing that woke white leftists do not, in fact, dislike other whites. In fact, such seeming antiwhite radicals adore their whiteness. White leftists live in the same neighborhoods with other whites, dress the same way, and send their children to heavily white institutions. For all their talk about being for blacks, these white leftists are just hypocrites. They don’t give up their professional positions for members of other races or sexual orientations, and whatever set asides and preferential hiring these virtue-signalers claim to be working toward, many or most of their colleagues are racially the same as they are.

On the hunt for alien life

The likelihood of its existence in some form in the universe is quite high

The James Webb space telescope, the most powerful telescope ever built, has gathered some extraordinary images since it was launched by NASA just over a year ago. There have been shots of stars on the cusp of death, of stars violently colliding together, and even of ancient galaxies that have challenged our very understanding of the cosmos. But it’s the study of exoplanets — planets outside our solar system — that, for me, really justifies the telescope’s $10 billion price tag.

Why are Americans dying so young?

US life expectancy is falling well behind Europe

Most of us Brits realise that the US is richer than the UK. But just how much richer still has the power to shock. In 2021, American GDP per capita was $69,185 while the mother country got by on just $46,542. In fact, viewed state by state, America is richer than almost all of Europe. Only special cases like Norway, Denmark and Switzerland do better.

Britain’s police need a lesson on free speech

Officers are given extensive training on ‘diversity’, but are taught next to nothing about free expression.

Last month, when a Koran was accidentally dropped and scuffed in a Wakefield school, West Yorkshire Police recorded a ‘non-crime hate incident’ (NCHI) against the four boys involved. This was despite the fact that the headteacher found there to be no evidence of any malicious intent. One of the sinister things about this is that NCHIs, unlike actual crimes, aren’t automatically deleted from someone’s record when they reach the age of 18. This means these ‘non-crimes’ can show up in enhanced criminal-records checks, potentially impacting those boys’ future employment prospects.

Two Tory Riding Executives Quit Over ‘Troubling’ Nomination Race

Two Conservative Party riding executives in Southern Ontario have resigned because of what one of them labelled a “troubling” nomination race that she says was unfairly tilted in favour of one candidate.

Catherine Agar and Brian Kaufman, former president and vice-president respectively of the Electoral District Association for the riding of Oxford, are both exiting their positions just days after Arpan Khanna, a lawyer from Mississauga, Ont., won the riding’s Tory nomination race, according to a Globe and Mail article.

Khanna won the party’s nomination in the Conservative stronghold riding on March 25 after a tight race.

This sounds so Ottawa.

The Guardian says sorry for slavery links and sets up £10m reparation fund

The Guardian has apologised for historic links to slavery and set up a £10m reparation fund after a three-year investigation into itself.

The Scott Trust, which owns Guardian Media Group, plans to launch a decade-long programme of “restorative justice” to make up for the role the newspaper’s founders played in the transatlantic slave trade.

Nashville Tragedy Shows Why It Isn’t Compassionate To Fuel Mental Illness

It’s difficult to fathom that several families started their day with one less precious child around the breakfast table this morning. It’s also hard to fathom responding to that reality — caused by a transgender mass shooter who left three 9-year-olds and several adults dead in a “targeted attack” at a Christian elementary school — by confessing you misgendered the murderer and blasting your political opponents over the same tired gun-control talking points.

But behind all the partisan smoke and mirrors of the Nashville story is an unmistakable and unavoidable reality: Our modern mental health crisis is out of control.

Justin Trudeau has let Beijing deep into Canadian politics

A series of explosive allegations about Chinese interference in Canadian politics have rocked Ottawa

As hard as it is to conceive of him as such, as the longest-serving head of government in the G7 Justin Trudeau is now one of the world’s elder statesmen. He has achieved this exalted status despite innumerable scandals rocking his government, on issues ranging from corruption to “blackface” to bullying to sexual misconduct, many of which would have felled a lesser politician.

But his lucky streak may finally be ending. For the past month, Ottawa has been riveted by a series of explosive allegations about Chinese interference in Canadian politics, from illegal campaign donations to disinformation campaigns, allegations leaked to the media by members of Canada’s usually docile intelligence service reportedly angry with the government ignoring their reports.

Why didn’t America’s Covid hypocrites pay a price?

The UK is in a rage at Boris Johnson yet Gavin Newsom walks free

Some choppy waters this week for former UK prime minister Boris Johnson, who more than ever looks like a ghost haunting a library. Johnson was recently hauled before a committee of Parliament where he was grilled about allegations that he’d attended parties with other government employees during Covid lockdown. The spectacle was so brutal that at one point the usually unflappable Boris lost his temper: “This is complete nonsense!” he barked.
