There are lots of well-connected, well-heeled people out there, but Abdel Qader is striking because he is a vociferous anti-Semite. So why is he palling around with so many prominent Democrats? Apparently, their views are compatible.
A woke news reporter working for The Guardian’s US website has been condemned after she took to Twitter to declare that people who question trans ideology are fascists.

Unifor is set to release the full investigation into its former president Jerry Dias, the Star has learned, amid the fallout of an alleged kickback scandal shaking Canada’s largest private sector union.
The documents will be “released to local unions as soon as possible,” said Unifor national secretary-treasurer Lana Payne in response to questions from the Star.
Dias was allegedly given $50,000 by a rapid test supplier who he promoted to Unifor employers, according to an external report commissioned by the union earlier this year.

Following graduation, they seemed to drop off the face of the Earth, ghosting their former friends. According to one of the brother’s online footprints, he was becoming increasingly angry and radical, obsessed with guns, explosives and perceptions of government tyranny.

Police in Akron, Ohio, unleashed a wave of tear gas on protesters who gathered outside of the city’s main courthouse on Sunday night.
Several hundred protesters marched in the city in the hours after the Akron Police Department released the bodycam footage showing the shooting death of 25-year-old Jayland Walker.
Walker was killed after being shot at least 60 times by Akron cops following a traffic stop on June 27.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — A gunman who killed three people when he opened fire in a crowded shopping mall acted alone and apparently selected his victims at random, Danish police said Monday, all but ruling out that the attack was an “act of terrorism.”
Police have not identified a motive for Sunday’s attack inside one of Scandinavia’s biggest shopping centers. A suspect carrying a rifle and knife was quickly arrested, and Copenhagen chief police inspector Søren Thomassen said the 22-year-old Danish man also had access to another gun.
He said the firearms were obtained illegally and that the suspect was known to mental health services but gave no further details on either.

What is the point of university? It used to be, when Harvard was founded in 1636, “to advance learning and perpetuate it to posterity”. But in recent years the university has taken on an altogether narrower character. Learning is no longer enough. Activism is demanded. Yale and Harvard have come to resemble the mythical Ouroboros, eating their own tails to satisfy an insatiable appetite for conformity.
As socialism makes a political comeback, the U.S. would do well to pay more attention to Latin America.
