30 million Americans ready to ‘take up arms’ to overthrow Biden say the folks who brought you the Covington kids, Jussie Smollett, Russiagate etc etc etc…

MSNBC’s national affairs analyst John Heilemann shocked many Americans by claiming on a Sunday show that “20 to 30 million people” are ready to “take up arms” to remove President Joe Biden from office.

On Sunday’s Meet the Press, host Chuck Todd focused on a recent Atlantic article declaring that Donald Trump’s “coup has already begun” for a segment, finding Heilemann in total agreement with the piece’s premise.

“There is this research that shows something like 8% and maybe up to 12% who say that Joe Biden was illegitimate and that violence is a suitable tool to remove him and restore Donald Trump. This represents between 20 and 30 million people,” Heilemann said, claiming these supposed “20 to 30 million people” are ready to “take up arms.”

Off record… that 30 million estimate seems low.

TORONTO — Doug Ford is pitching Ontario as the next electric vehicle manufacturing powerhouse, seemingly a far cry from the premier who three years ago cancelled incentives for people to buy them.

Where some see contradiction, others see calculated election strategy.

Shortly after coming to power in 2018, Ford’s government scrapped Ontario’s cap-and-trade system, and with it the electric vehicle rebates funded by that program.

What a bizarre article. It fails to mention that Biden’s BBB plan offers huge incentives to manufacture EV’s and batteries in the US which has the potential to wipe out Canada’s auto industry.

As for mining rare earths in the “Ring of Fire”, the Ring of Eco-Luddites will ensure that is at the least severely limited.

Rebates do favour the rich, electric vehicles do not make practical economic sense.

Progressives are eager to deploy the Federal Trade Commission and the Justice Department in pursuit of more control over the private sector. But greed and market power were presumably just as prevalent over the many years when inflation ran between 1 percent and 2 percent as they are now. Talk of “profiteering” is at best a distraction and at worst a misguided rationale for regulatory actions likely to have bad effects.

I offer my perspective on the Smollett hoax and verdict as a longtime Chicago resident.

It is simply incredible that anyone would believe that the “attack” would happen on a night when Chicago was having a polar vortex, and that there would be attackers yelling “MAGA country” out that night (or any night) in one of the most Democratic cities in America. (And who is carrying bleach and a rope at 2 A.M.? And what “celebrity” is going to a Subway at 2 A.M.?) My initial view three years ago when he reported the alleged incident was that Smollett must really be dumb to think that story would be remotely believable. Yet the media largely bought it, as did many progressives and professional race-baiters.
