Welcoming Arab Extremism

American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) has come a long way from its shadowy origins as an instrument of Hamas, a designated terrorist organization. Without moderating its hardline anti-Israel views, AMP has reformed its image and cultivated willing advocates among the progressive wing of the Democratic Party. During annual Palestine Advocacy Days on Capitol Hill, AMP lobbyists have met with dozens of members of Congress and their staffs, promoting legislation that would isolate Israel and favor radical jihadist groups.

The ‘cabal’ that bragged of foisting Joe Biden on us must answer for his failed presidency

It’s time to admit it. Less than a year in, Joe Biden’s is a failed presidency. Biden knows it, the press knows it, and voters know it. And our foreign adversaries like China and Russia know it.

It’s also time to look at the “cabal” of business, labor and political leaders who foisted the Biden administration on us. That won’t be hard, as they were openly bragging about their efforts less than a year ago.

The failure is obvious. The administration is so desperate, it’s begging the press for better coverage.

How China made Covid worse – The regime’s deceit stalled the pandemic response

Two years ago this week, a middle-aged man in Wuhan caught a strange respiratory disease. The 41-year-old accountant was called Chen and he worked for his family firm, commuted to work by public transport and shopped in a sleek modern supermarket rather than a traditional market selling wild animals. He had not travelled outside the city in the days before catching the disease beyond a short trip to some hills north of Wuhan and — bar one relative working in healthcare — had no obvious links to high-risk settings.

… The Vienna-based Observatory on Intolerance against Christians in Europe (OIDAC), which has compiled a report on anti-Christian hate crime in the continent, says the two main threats come from ‘secular intolerance’ and ‘Islamic oppression’.

… They said: ‘Islamic Oppression can mostly be seen in what we call “hotspot areas” of European cities and suburbs, where they impose unique legal and moral codes, which are often in contradiction to democratic principles and human rights.’

The Unmitigated Gall of Ilhan Omar

Rep. Ilhan Omar is demanding that Congress censure a colleague over offensive remarks. This is a real demand happening right now, and reporters write about her demands without peppering their prose with incredulous exclamation marks.

House progressives, in fact, are reportedly planning to introduce a resolution that would strip Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of committee assignments over her stupid and bigoted joke about Omar.

Whether Putin Attacks Ukraine or Not, He’s Already Won

President Joe Biden and Russian bad boy Vladimir Putin have now had their two-hour virtual parley about the Ukraine crisis. Is there any clear sense on how this will all end? No.

The readout from the White House looked thinner than Christmas tissue paper, but from what can be gleaned, the U.S. side put nothing more on the table than what the president and secretary of state have been saying for days: more sanctions.

The threat of sanctions is meant to deter a full-blown Russian invasion of Ukraine. But history shows that sanctions are no more of a deterrent to Putin than a speed bump to a monster truck. Just ask the good folks of occupied Crimea. Or occupied Georgia.

Jussie Smollett and the coveting of victimhood

Everyone wants to be oppressed these days.

At first glance, the Jussie Smollett trial looks like one of the maddest things taking place in the Western world right now. Here we have an actor accused of giving wads of money to two Nigerian brothers in 2019 in return for them beating him up and racially insulting him. Apparently it was all part of a dastardly plot by Smollett to secure the sympathies of the celebrity set and possibly become more famous to boot. He allegedly encouraged the burly bros to shout ‘MAGA’ slogans at him and to hang a noose around his neck. Make it look as racist as possible, this black actor allegedly advised the black brothers. Oh, and he had previously masturbated with one of the brothers, in a bathhouse, and on another occasion they also did some drugs. Allegedly.

Case Closed: Quebec Premier François Legault says school board wrong to hire teacher who wore hijab

Premier François Legault says a school board in western Quebec should not have hired a teacher who wore a hijab.

Legault told reporters today in Quebec City the province’s secularism law, known as Bill 21, has been in place since June 2019 and the Western Quebec School Board should have respected it when hiring.

Case closed. There is no place for the death cult’s sharia law in schools.

Carson Jerema: Mélanie Joly parrots Beijing lie about the two Michaels being ‘on bail’

If you ever wondered just how allergic the Liberals are to saying or doing anything that might annoy the Chinese Communist Party, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly gave Canadians a good sense of the scale of it on Wednesday. While appearing on CBC’s Power and Politics, she parroted the Beijing line that the now released Canadian hostages Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig were subjected not to a ruthless kidnapping, but to a fair and just legal system.
