Don Lemon Files Legal Complaint Against Megyn Kelly After Inviting His Accuser On To Tell His Story

CNN host Don Lemon has filed a legal complaint against Megyn Kelly for doing what CNN and other media outlets have done for decades: Invite people on to discuss their sexual misconduct accusations against public figures.

Radar Online obtained the complaint, filed by attorneys representing Lemon, which accuses Kelly of giving a “lopsided and inaccurate” version of the encounter between Lemon and his accuser, Dustin Hice. The complaint comes after Kelly invited Hice onto her SiriusXM radio show to discuss his allegations against Lemon.

‘Ghost soldiers’ to blame for Afghan government’s quick defeat – ex-minister

Afghanistan’s former finance minister has claimed that “ghost soldiers” and corrupt government officials were responsible for the Taliban’s ability to quickly seize control of the country, as NATO forces withdrew their personnel.

Speaking on Wednesday, Khalid Payenda, who served as the Afghan finance minister immediately before the Taliban’s takeover, claimed that around 300,000 soldiers and police officers listed on the government’s payroll did not exist.

The so-called “ghost soldiers” were kept on the books by corrupt officials who pocketed their wages, according to Payenda, who said they were “desertions [and] martyrs who were never accounted for” by commanders who “would keep their bank cards.”

It was the visceral, aggressive vibe at the protest against Tzipi Hotovely at the London School of Economics last night that was most disturbing. The Israeli ambassador to the UK was chased by a mob of howling students. ‘Shame!’, they screamed. One seemed to lunge towards her, but was blocked by a member of her security detail. A long line of police officers had to hold others back. ‘Whoever smashes the ambassador car window… gets pints’, said a group called LSE Class War on Instagram. It posted the name of the street her car was parked in and said: ‘Let’s fuckin frighten her… Let’s make her shake.’ A mob calling for the terrorising of a Jewish woman? Classy.

Get used to it. It’s called diversity.

San Francisco’s progressive district attorney faces recall election

Elections officials in San Francisco announced a recall election against the city’s progressive district attorney made it on the ballot.

The vote on the tenure of Chesa Boudin is scheduled for June 2022, giving residents a chance to keep or oust the former public defender who has been a prosecutor for less than two years.

The son of two leftwing Weather Underground radicals who served as the getaway drivers in a 1981 armored car heist that left two police officers and a guard dead, Boudin was elected district attorney in 2019 as part of a national wave of progressive prosecutors determined to reform the criminal justice system.

The other day we looked at the news that the United States was reopening its borders with Mexico and Canada for land travel. Of course, there were immediate caveats placed on the offer. Only those with proof of vaccination would be allowed to drive into the United States. As it turns out, however, there’s another side to this coin. Canada has placed their own restrictions on those wishing to cross in the other direction. In addition to having a vaccine passport, travelers seeking entrance to the Great White North will also have to provide a recent negative COVID test.

Ontario pauses reopening plans after increase in COVID-19 cases
