The company announced Monday that it would invest $100 million in a new facility in LaGrange, Georgia, southwest of Atlanta, and hire 856 people over five years.
Remington, which was founded in 1816 in Ilion, was bought out of bankruptcy for the second time in June 2020 after being weighed down by lawsuits and retail sales restrictions following the Sandy Hook massacre and other school shootings.

Accuser Dustin Hice made the comments on Monday’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” even as Lemon’s attorneys have fought back against Hice’s lawsuit in court filings, accusing the ex-bartender of withholding texts, deleting social media posts and hiding a witness who contradicted his claims.

Lewis, 28, was arrested on warrants related to failure to pay traffic tickets, and an incident in which she “escaped” from a police vehicle. She had been a witness to a fight and left the back of the patrol car, her attorney said.
While she was in custody, police said she coughed “in close proximity” to officers, and said she had Covid-19, though no dashboard, body or in-station videos exist to prove the assertion either way.

Prof Ian Acheson, who led a Ministry of Justice review of extremism in jails, said there was growing evidence across Europe that terrorist prisoners were successfully deceiving professionals into believing they were willing to rehabilitate, with potentially deadly consequences.
He cited four cases in the past two years of terror attacks and prison murder attempts where Islamist extremists had been able to mount them after securing new freedoms on release or in jail due to their ability to manipulate the authorities into thinking they had given up jihad.

A new study from a select group showed they only drove 5,000 miles a year, on average. This estimate was based on their electricity usage.”
