The reason the Pope met Joe Biden

Just before noon on Friday, Joe Biden met Pope Francis to discuss a crisis that allegedly keeps both of them awake at nights: a climate crisis exacerbated by the burning of fossil fuels. To underline the importance of the event, America’s second Catholic president sailed into the Vatican in a motorcade of 85 vehicles. Even Mussolini might have balked at such a shameless display of gas-guzzling.

The elites are laughing in our faces

COP26 promises to be a grotesque spectacle of decadence and hypocrisy.

COP26 is gearing up to be a grotesque spectacle. We are about to witness Versailles levels of extravagance and hypocrisy. The rich, the powerful and the full of puffed-up virtue will gather in Glasgow to pontificate to the rest of us about how much we are harming the planet with all our waste and hubris. They’ll arrive in their private jets to bemoan the scourge of air-industry emissions. They’ll tuck in to five-star meals in between wondering out loud if the little people should eat less meat. They’ll rest their weary, virtuous heads on plump, silk pillows after long days of discussing how to rein in the material aspirations of the masses. It promises to be one of most nauseating displays of oligarchical conceit of recent times.

Prince Andrew’s criticisms of Virginia Giuffre may backfire, lawyers say

Prince Andrew’s attacks on Virginia Giuffre’s character in an attempt to get her sexual assault lawsuit against him thrown out may fail and risk doing further damage to his reputation, British lawyers have said.

Having initially attempted to prevent service of the suit, which alleges that he sexually abused Giuffre when she was 17, the prince’s lawyers went on the offensive over the weekend in an attempt to get her “baseless” claim dismissed.

Their filings accuse Giuffre of seeking a “payday” at Andrew’s expense and contain references from friends and in newspaper articles to her being a “money hungry sex kitten” and recruiting girls for the convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who died in custody in 2019, awaiting trial.

Here Comes the Sun: How a massive solar storm could put Canada at risk

Get ready. An epic solar storm may be heading our way, one so big it could knock out power grids, damage satellites, cause internet blackouts, and essentially take down our modern life as we know it. It’s known as a 1-in-100 years solar storm.

Solar storms are an explosion of energized particles hurled from the Sun known as flares or coronal mass ejections (CME). Small scale storms occur regularly but every century or so there is an extreme eruption.

BONOKOSKI: Freeland’s vanity poll not what she was expecting

Before she delivered her budget, Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland was so interested in what voters might think that she spent $53,445 on a survey to poll 34 people — eight seniors, eight Quebecers, nine parents, and seven unemployed — on what their instant reactions would be.

Joe Biden is asleep at the wheel

The only thing worse than not showing up is showing up and making a fool of yourself

Did Joe Biden fall asleep during the opening speeches of the COP26 climate jamboree in Glasgow? It’s hard to blame him if he did. A conference dedicated to saving the planet is generating nothing but hot air, some of it carboniferously heavy with the exhaust of the armada of private jets that brought the guests. But it’s Biden’s job to stay awake, look lively and remember his lines.

More… He’s no longer coherent

A Sea Change on Public Approval of Vaccine Mandates Is Occurring

Earlier today, RedState reported on the firing of a nurse for refusing to bend to COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Despite data that shows the vaccinated spread the virus at the same rate, first responders are being fired or laid off around the country in an ill-informed attempt to “protect” the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. That’s been the line from the federal government as well.

If China Controls Taiwan’s Chip Manufacturers, It Will Control The World

If Americans think the shortage of cars due to chip supply issues is bad, then consider what it would mean if the U.S. military were deprived of the advanced chips required for its arsenal of war equipment. It’s a real possibility as the world’s largest and most advanced semiconductor manufacturers sit precariously, approximately 100 miles off the coast of communist China on the island of Taiwan.

In total, Taiwanese companies supply 63 percent of global semiconductors, compared with 12 percent by U.S. manufacturers. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) alone provides over half the world’s made-to-order chips, and an estimated 90 percent of advanced processors.

US mother accuses school board of teaching her daughter she was ‘BORN EVIL’ because she is WHITE

The Virginia school board at the center of a row over its gender-affirmation policies and alleged critical race theory (CRT) curriculum has been accused by a parent of teaching primary schoolers that white people are “born evil.”

At a Loudoun County School Board meeting last week, a mother revealed that she had pulled her children from the county’s public school system after her six-year-old daughter asked her last year if she was “born evil because she was a white person.” The child had apparently learned this in a history lesson taught at her former school.

At least 10,300 NYC workers resist vaccine mandate as rule kicks in

At least 10,300 city workers thumbed their nose at Mayor Bill de Blasio’s COVID-19 vaccine-mandate deadline Monday — refusing to get a jab or participating in a suspected sick-out even as Hizzoner says the requirement is crucial to keeping residents safe.

Officials said roughly 2,300 firefighters called out “sick,” more than double the usual 1,000, leaving 18 firehouses “temporarily out of service” and dozens more undermanned — although Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro insisted the department was still functioning “quite well.”

Juan Williams Claims ‘Parents’ Rights’ Is Code For White Supremacists

Fox News analyst Juan Williams said that the phrase “parents’ rights” is code for white supremacy in a new op-ed for The Hill.

The right to voice opposition to race-based curriculum has become a defining issue of the 2021 Virginia gubernatorial race between Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Glen Youngkin. In his latest op-ed, Williams argues that “parents’ rights” is a “rallying cry” that is “full of racial division.”

Trudeau tells COP26 summit he will destroy Canada’s economic well being

Canada will put a cap on oil and gas sector emissions, Trudeau tells COP26 summit

Canada will impose a hard cap on emissions from the oil and gas sector, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Monday at the COP26 summit in Glasgow.

Calling the promise “a major commitment” that should inspire other resource-rich countries to dramatically curb their own emissions, Trudeau said Canada is prepared to limit the growth of one of the country’s largest industries to help the world hold the global average temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

“We’ll cap oil and gas sector emissions today and ensure they decrease tomorrow at a pace and scale needed to reach net-zero by 2050,” Trudeau said during his two-minute speech in front of other world leaders gathered in Scotland.

Sane people did not vote for Trudeau or for his silly “global warming” fantasy.
