David Staples: The one big reason why Canada failed to hit a home run on vaccines

The United States and the United Kingdom hit home runs on COVID vaccine development. Canada hit a single and is stuck on first base.

There’s one big reason why: our federal government failed to move quickly on procuring COVID vaccines because its leaders did not make Canadian vaccine procurement an urgent national priority, one where failure was not an option.

California court sides with Twitter in Meghan Murphy lawsuit who was banned for saying “women aren’t men”

Because of its intensity, it’s easy to think that the unprecedented level of censorship on social networks, spreading even to, technically speaking, lower levels of the web like hosting services, is a recent phenomenon.

But it’s been almost two and a half years since Meghan Murphy announced she would sue Twitter for permanently banning her account after she tweeted, “women aren’t men” and other declarations referring to scientific facts about biological differences between women and men.

“Believe me, there’s no racist like a hard-Left racist”

Believe me, there’s no racist like a hard-Left racist: After a charity supposedly fighting for equality trolled CALVIN ROBINSON with a vile historical trope, he reveals the insults he often receives from left-wingers

After the initial shock and revulsion wore off, I felt oddly glad this week that a prominent Left-wing anti-racism charity had decided publicly to hurl a vile racist slur at me.

At last, I thought, people are going to hear about the abuse that is doled out to centre-Right individuals like me all the time, almost always from black and ethnic minority figures on the hard Left.

They often call me ‘Bounty’ or ‘coconut’ — sneers implying that I am somehow ‘brown on the outside, white on the inside’.

Canadians are angry about vaccine delays. It’s hurting Trudeau’s poll numbers: Ipsos

A new poll from Ipsos found that 71 per cent of Canadians are “angry” that Canada is falling behind countries like the U.S. and the U.K. when it comes to the pace of our COVID-19 vaccine rollout. On top of that, just 43 per cent believe Canada will meet Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s professed timeline of having a jab available for every Canadian who wants one by September.

There are lots of reasons to be pissed off at PM Asshat.
