LEVY: Toronto the Good is no longer

On Easter weekend in Toronto, a woman was pushed onto the Bloor-Yonge subway tracks by another female (since arrested) and a teen forced out of her car at gunpoint in what has traditionally been a quiet north Toronto neighbourhood.

There was also a $28.5-million bust of crystal meth and coke in a condo directly beside the Novotel hotel, where more than 220 homeless men and women, many with drug addictions, are being housed.

Toronto police touted it as the largest single-day drug bust in their history.

The drug stash and the dealer arrested had no doubt used the Novotel – where residents can take their illegal drugs with impunity– as a cash cow.

Never mind the other homeless hotels in downtown Toronto where illegal drugs are not only permitted but encouraged – or the plethora of safe injection sites around downtown where addicts are given clean needles to take their drugs, but “safely.”

Michelle Malkin: The Child Grooming Industry

Everything old is new again as a new generation of parents takes on kiddie-porn curriculum producers masquerading as anti-bullying crusaders. So let me repeat a warning I’ve issued repeatedly to families across the country: “Diversity.” “Tolerance.” “Safety.” If a corporate-funded educational nonprofit targeting K-12 students employs those weasel words, get your kids as far away as possible, start following the money and stop being afraid.

Jen Psaki Reveals the Actual Reason Behind Appealing the Mask Mandate Ruling: Preserving the CDC’s ‘Authority’

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday revealed the actual reason why the Biden administration is appealing a federal court ruling that struck down its national mask mandate for public transportation.

In an astounding display of tortured reasoning, Psaki gave a convoluted response on the way to ultimately divulging what it is all about.

The Corruption of our Nation

Because science, medicine and politics are three threads woven into the same cloth of public policy, we have to work to fix all three simultaneously. The corruption of political systems by global corporatists has filtered down to our science, medicine and healthcare systems and must be exposed. Furthermore, the perversion of science and medicine by corporate interests is expanding its reach; it is pernicious and intractable. Regulatory capture by corporate interests runs rampant throughout our politics, governmental agencies and institutes. The corporatists have infiltrated all three branches of government, and it is up to us, the people, to take control back. Corporate-public partnerships that have become so trendy have another name, it is fascism- the political science term for the fusion of the interests of corporations and the state. Basically, the tension between the interest of the republic and its citizens (which Jefferson felt should be primary), and the financial interests of business and corporations (Hamilton’s ideal) has swung far too far to the interests of corporations and their billionaire owners at the expense of the general population.

Has Wokeness Transitioned To Canada’s Post Modern Religion?

It is interesting to note the ways in which woke political consciousness in modern society emulate characteristics of traditional religion. One primary driver of woke ideology is a lady named Robin D’Angelo, whose book “White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People To Talk About Racism” was released in June of 2018.

D’Angelo, a white U.S. academic, is a modern-day evangelist of Wokism. Her zeal toward woke dogma maintains that caucasians are intrinsically racist. In fact, so is the entire social structure of the western world. Yet, there is a way out. Those privileged with whiteness can confess to ingrained superiority, repent, and be cleansed of original sin.

Biden Wants Our Border Open, And Americans Know It

In his first weeks as president, Biden signed executive orders rescinding President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” and “safe third country” border policies, both of which significantly curbed illegal immigration. But Biden initially kept in place one of Trump’s immigration policies: the use of U.S. Code Title 42, which gave immigration authorities the ability to prevent many attempted border crossers from being released into the U.S. due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But now, that’s changing. Earlier this month, the Biden administration announced that it would end the enforcement of Title 42. Despite the fact that we are witnessing a record level of illegal immigration, Biden is claiming that the pandemic has waned to the point that turning away would-be border crossers is no longer necessary. Meanwhile, he still wants Americans to wear masks on planes despite record low cases.

Anthony Fauci: ‘Unfortunate’ that a Court Order ‘Superseded the Authority of the CDC’

When asked about airlines quickly dropping their mask mandates following the Monday ruling of United States District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, who effectively nixed the federal mask mandate for public transportation, Fauci called it “unfortunate” and made it clear that he still continues to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance.

Dems worry: We could have Trump as president in 2025 with a filibuster-proof GOP Senate majority

People like me spend lots of time worrying about Trump losing in 2024 and then badgering a Republican-controlled Congress to overturn the results on his behalf. January 6, take two, and this time the dice is loaded in his favor.

But the underrated scenario is that Trump just … wins. Fair and square, on Election Day. January 6, 2025 is a boring rubber-stamp session in which Congress certifies his legitimate victory. Why, if inflation gets bad enough, he might even win the popular vote.

There’s a first time for everything.

‘You Have Finally Crossed the Line’ – Hunter’s Scathing Letter to Joe Biden on Eve of Trump Inauguration.

Hunter Biden, the son of the President of the United States, penned a despairing letter to his father just days before Donald J. Trump took office as the 45th President of the United States, as Biden received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and declined, in Hunter’s words, to properly credit his family for his life’s work.

Trudeau Hold-Out On Covid Regulations An Assault On Democracy

This week, a federal judge in the United States struck down a national mask mandate on planes and mass transit. In response, seven of America’s largest airlines have repealed rules that customers and staff must wear face coverings.

In the United Kingdom, managing COVID-19 is now an exercise in personal responsibility. In the city of London, few outward signs remain of the global pandemic that disrupted the world for more than two years. No mask mandate is effect for most public spaces. At the end of April, testing for the general public will come to an end.

“To me, COVID is over, I’m happy to say,” said a mother of three.

“There’s a freedom that people were waiting for here and now that it’s here, everyone’s sort of forgotten about COVID.”

Back in Canada, PM Justin Trudeau and half-Saudi Transport Minister Omar Alghabra have reiterated that masks are still required on all flights that arrive in or depart from Canada.

Former ICE Chief Sounds the Alarm: ‘This Scares the Hell Out of Me, What’s About to Come’

“The Border Patrol is overwhelmed. I have talked to several chief patrol agents. Of course, I’m not going to say who they are. They’ll get fired, but I’m good friends with them. Three of them told me — three separate ones — told me ‘we have lost operational control of our border.’ The United States of America has lost operational control of our southern border. ‘We can’t control what’s coming in. We’re overwhelmed.'”

Five Year Investigation of Barry Sherman Murder Delivers Not A Single Suspect

As calendars reached 2022, mystery surrounding the deaths of Canadian billionaires Barry and Honey Sherman entered its fifth year without a single suspect being identified. Although devoid of potential suspects, additional information on the case was presented by Canadian media in early 2021.

Barry Sherman, founder of Canadian pharma giant Apotex, and his wife Honey Sherman, were found dead in the basement area of their home in Toronto’s North York neighbourhood on Dec. 15, 2017. Their deaths were determined by investigators to be caused by ligature neck compressions, a type of strangulation.
