Victoria’s lockdown is set to be extended by at least a week despite group of rebel MPs pushing Dan Andrews to lift tough restrictions – as a string of new Covid-19 exposure sites are listed in Melbourne

Victoria’s sixth lockdown is set to be extended by at least a week as a group of MPs push for Dan Andrews to concede a zero-Covid target is unrealistic and lift some of the harsher restrictions.

Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale

The Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale estimates potential property damage. While all hurricanes produce life-threatening winds, hurricanes rated Category 3 and higher are known as major hurricanes*. Major hurricanes can cause devastating to catastrophic wind damage and significant loss of life simply due to the strength of their winds. These hazards require people to take protective action, including evacuating from areas vulnerable to storm surge.

The Emerging One-Party State

The Democrats have well-coordinated plans to take over the government permanently and run it as a one-party state. H.R. 1 and H.R. 4 (bills intended to federalize elections), statehood for the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, maintaining an open border with Mexico, and providing $107 billion for legalizing the status of illegal residents as part of the latest Democratic spending bill are not random acts of kindness. Nor is the action of newly installed Democratic governor of New York Kathy Hochul in speeding up welfare benefits to illegal aliens. All these moves reflect well-thought-out efforts to create a permanent Democratic electoral majority, which will further marginalize the already largely ineffective Republican opposition.

“There are more than 25 people in this fairly tight and crowded space and provincial law in Ontario currently limits indoor gatherings to 25 people. Are you breaking the spirit if not the letter of the law to hold a party event and lecture the premier of Ontario on vaccine passports?” asked a reporter.
