OTTAWA – Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says he believes “biological males” have no place in sports or change rooms that are labelled female.
Poilievre was asked at a news conference about his position on whether transgender women should be allowed in spaces that are labelled for women and whether he would introduce any legislation to stop it.
Poilievre told reporters he believes “female spaces should be exclusively for females, not for biological males.”

Lightfoot, 60, the first black female and first openly lesbian mayor of the Windy City, told the New Yorker in a piece published Saturday that she bristles at her portrayal by the media, even as she has struggled to battle Chicago’s decades-high murder rate.
“I am a black woman — let’s not forget,” she told the outlet. “Certain folks, frankly, don’t support us in leadership roles.”

“The South, after the war,” he observed, “presented the greatest opportunity for a real national labor movement which the nation ever saw or is likely to see for many decades.” Yet, he lamented, “the labor movement, with but few exceptions, never realized the situation. It never had the intelligence or knowledge, as a whole, to see in black slavery and Reconstruction, the kernel and meaning of the labor movement in the United States.” The principal reason was “the race philosophy” which “came as a new and terrible thing to make labor unity or labor class-consciousness impossible. So long as the Southern white laborers could be induced to prefer poverty to equality with the Negro, just so long was a labor movement in the South made impossible.”

It really does pay to have ‘famous White friends’, says CNN. (Yes, CNN is now so drunk on the PC Kool-Aid that it capitalises races.)
‘Context and intention matter: Alberta Justice firing over racial slur overturned
An arbitrator has overturned the dismissal of an Alberta Justice employee who was fired for using a racial slur during an online video work meeting.
The reference was made during a Webex call on Jan. 14, 2021, when the woman used the N-word in expressing her distaste for rap music lyrics she had heard her sons listening to.
… “There is an enormous difference between calling a Black person the N-word versus quoting, in a critical way, the use of the N-word in music lyrics.”
Order of Canada appointees far less diverse than the population, analysis shows
The 2022 list of appointees to the Order of Canada is far less diverse than the Canadian population and even less diverse than it was in 2021, a new analysis shows.
The Governor General made 184 appointments to the order in 2022. It’s considered one of the country’s highest civilian honours, one which recognizes “people who make extraordinary contributions to the nation,” according to Rideau Hall. Over 7,600 Canadians have joined the order’s ranks since its creation in 1967.
But analysis by retired public servant Andrew Griffith, who served as Canada’s director general of citizenship and multiculturalism, found that last year’s appointees were not representative of the Canadian population.
