Housing for LGBTQIA+ seniors under construction in Capitol Hill

A new development on Broadway between Pike and Pine in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood hopes to serve as a cornerstone for intergenerational care and education among members of Seattle’s LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride Place, a collaboration between nonprofit GenPRIDE and Community Roots Housing, will offer 118 units of LGBTQIA+ affirming housing for seniors, along with a clinic, services, and GenPRIDE offices.

Now build one for straight people and see what happens.

The week the trans spell was broken – It’s finally ok to say that gender extremism wears no clothes

I always knew it would start with sport.

Back in 2018, when the obvious fallacies of gender ideology made me feel merely puzzled as opposed to completely enraged, a friend of mine went to the Commonwealth Games. He’s a sportswriter, and a few years younger than me and so – adhering to the generational divide on this issue – he disagreed with me about gender. He thought I was too rigid in my belief that changing gender is not the same as changing sex, which I maintain is impossible. He also thought my fears that males would disproportionately benefit and potentially exploit from the blurring between gender and sex were overblown. Stop being so binary, daddio, we’re all fluid now!

A Victim Too Far: How Transgenders Will Bring Down the Lefty Marxists Who Want to Destroy America

Moments after the Supreme Court gave gay people in the U.S. the right to marry, the left hurried to find a new lot of victims to promote. They decided to focus on a tiny group of people, mostly men suffering from a mental issue called “gender dysphoria,” people who believe they should be the opposite sex. Hence, a new crop of lefty victims was born, and that is the very first time we heard the word “transgender.”

Tweet hoping to see JK Rowling in a hearse AOK with Twitter

Twitter has been slammed after it failed to uphold a complaint about an alleged ‘death threat’ against author J.K. Rowling featured in a music video by a trans activist.

Trans campaigner Faye ‘Trust Fund Ozu’ included the threatening words as part of a 90’s-themed video titled ‘J.K. Rowling diss track’.

The video sees the singer against an animated backdrop with vocals about ‘killing TERFS’ [Trans exclusionary radical feminists’ and ‘J.K. hope you fit in a hearse’.

A Momentous Two Weeks: The national fight over gender identity is escalating

The last two weeks were momentous for transgender advocates and their critics. On Monday, Florida governor Ron DeSantis defied Disney, the state’s largest employer, and a slew of other corporations by signing the Parental Rights in Education Act—egregiously mischaracterized as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill—into law. The bill, which mandates that discussion of sexual matters in the classroom be “age appropriate” and requires that parents be involved in medical decisions regarding their children, is, as some critics have charged, vaguely worded, and vague language can indeed be an invitation for regulatory trouble. But it is trans activists who have spent the past decade inflating the meaning of ordinary words like “safety” and “inclusion” to encompass radical and highly controversial ideas and policies. On the whole, given what is happening in our nation’s schools, especially at the K-3 level, the Florida law is eminently reasonable—so much so, in fact, that activists have had to mislead the public into thinking that the law is primarily about homosexuality.

Lost in Trans-lation

Deconstructing the reality dysphoria dialogue.

The satirical Babylon Bee recently selected Rachel Levine as its “first annual Man of the Year.” “Levine,” the Bee explained, “is the U.S. assistant secretary for health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he proudly serves as the first man in that position to dress like a western cultural stereotype of a woman. He is also an admiral in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. What a boss!”

Everyone who has a penis is a man

The idea of ‘women with penises’ is Orwellian, misogynistic drivel.

Remember when it would take a probing question about economic policy or whether we should keep or ditch our nukes to stump a politician? Not anymore. Now the political class is flummoxed, struck almost dumb, by a far simpler query: What is a woman? It used to take a 30-minute televisual grilling by Jeremy Paxman or Andrew Neil on failed policies, broken promises and sex scandals to take the wind out of our political leaders – now it just takes a simple question about biology that most five-year-olds could answer. I’m going to try it. Next time my path crosses with a politician I find annoying, I won’t badger them about their betrayal of Brexit or their failure to defend free speech. I’ll just say ‘Hey, what’s a woman?’ That’s kryptonite to the political elite.

NYT: Trans People Suffer at Restaurants

The paper showcased gender-neutral garments for waitstaff as one solution.

Gender stereotypes are built into traditional restaurant service,” lamented the New York Times Tuesday. Chairs are pulled out for women. Women are served first. People are greeted by either “sir” or “ma’am.” It’s all just another example of the discrimination inflicted on “gender-expansive people,” says the New York Times.

‘Some Women Have Penises’

A women’s rights group meeting to discuss single-sex spaces was protested by trans activists – leading to police being called.

Around 200 protestors holding up placards that read ‘Some women have penises’ and ‘If you are transphobic – do one’ gathered outside a venue in Manchester where Women’s Place UK were holding their discussion.

The group was hosting its annual conference to consider ‘the importance and future of single-sex provision in policy and law’.

Sure they do.

What Lia Thomas Means

The sudden prominence of transgenderism in the West owes in large part to compassion becoming unmoored from reason—and to ethics being reduced to compassion.

If a single image could sum up Lia Thomas’s victory in the 500-yard freestyle event at the NCAA swimming championships last week, it would be that of Thomas and the runners-up taken right after they were awarded their medals. Behind a sign with the number “1” on it stands Thomas, who seems barely able to conceal embarrassment at what is undoubtedly an awkward situation. To the right, noticeably keeping their distance and a full head or two shorter, are the runners-up. Their smiles seem no less awkward.
