FIRST READING: Liberals muzzling COVID scientists, growing evidence of a Tory victory

In a recent story, the Canadian Medical Association Journal alleged that the Liberals have been muzzling access to government scientists throughout the course of Election 44. The journal said that interview requests with both Chief Public Health Officer Theresa Tam and NACI Chair Dr. Shelley Deeks – two key figures in setting Canadian COVID-19 policy – were rejected “in light of the election.”

Ottawa trustee wants mandatory vaccines for students, online classes for unvaccinated

Any student who is not vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus after this date will be re-enrolled in the virtual school.”

Five critical steps that Canada must take to combat the climate crisis

We are 18 months into a global pandemic, three weeks into a federal-election campaign — and at least 26 years into a climate crisis.

Scientists have been warning for decades that increased average temperatures would lead to such extreme weather events as massive flooding and out-of-control wildfires.

We now are witnessing these events almost every week. In the past few days, we saw devastating flooding across the United States. In New York City, the financial centre of the most powerful country in the world, flood waters rose so rapidly that some residents couldn’t leave their homes, and drowned. This isn’t normal; it’s like 100-year storms happening monthly. Just the latest horror on a long list: the destruction of Lytton, British Columbia, by an out-of-control wildfire. And, unless we act now, it will get immeasurably worse.

Erin O’Toole Betrays Gun Owners Despite Being Ahead in the Polls

The Conservative Party of Canada is currently leading the Liberals by wide margins in the majority of officially published polls so far in the 2021 snap election, and polling aggregators like 338 Canada are also projecting that the Conservative Party will likely win the most seats in Parliament.

In spite of the lead, Conservative Party leader Erin O’Toole has been jumping from foot to foot over the past week when it comes to the issue of firearms.

Trudeau says he ‘won’t back down’ from anti-vaxx protesters

A rocky start in the polls for Justin Trudeau’s Liberals has been compounded with intense and vitriolic protests in different parts of Ontario.

The crowds, which have been seen holding signs protesting vaccines and COVID-19 measures have often spewed insults and obscenities towards Trudeau, Liberal supporters and media. At times, they’ve followed him along the campaign trail, but Trudeau said the constant pressure from the outspoken minority hasn’t changed his outlook.

The Liberal message remains Stephen Harper! Abortion! Guns!

It’s been over three weeks since the federal election campaign started, and the Liberal motto has still not quite deviated from “Stephen Harper! Abortion! Guns!”

This has been particularly acute in the last few days, as the Liberals – and certainly the media – have leveled attack after attack at Conservative leader Erin O’Toole over his decreasingly clear stance on firearms.

If anyone still had any doubt that Erin O’Toole is just another Liberal, his U-turns of the past few days should have cleared things up.

O’Toole ran as a “true blue” conservative during the CPC leadership race.

But his mask fell as soon as he became leader.

He flip-flopped on opposing Trudeau’s carbon tax. Now he wants one too.

He flip-flopped on defunding the CBC. Now he only promises to review their mandate.

He flip-flopped on opposing vaccine passports. Now he wants to impose one across the country, just like Trudeau.

He flip-flopped on Trudeau’s arbitrary and unfair firearms ban. Now he supports it.

Erin O’Toole is a liar. A hypocrite. A fraud.

He’s adopted all of Trudeau’s platform.

He’s just another Trudeau.

Marvin, there is only one alternative to prevent our country from become an authoritarian hellhole.

It’s the PPC.

We have two weeks left to flatten the lies and convince more Canadians to support us.

Talk to your family, friends and colleagues.

Reach out to your local PPC candidate and help them.

And if you can spare $25 today, please help us fight for Canada.

Many thanks,
-Max

Canadians have record-high mortgage debt. What happens when rates rise?

New numbers from Equifax this week confirmed what housing market watchers have known for a while now: Canadians are addicted to mortgage debt.

Canadians took out 410,000 home loans in the second quarter. That’s the biggest quarterly jump on record, up 60 per cent compared with the same period a year earlier.

Despite fears in the early days of the pandemic that COVID-19 could be a bucket of ice on Canada’s housing market, the opposite happened. Interest rates slashed to record lows, coupled with millions of Canadians cooped up at home suddenly needing more living space, acted more like gasoline on the housing market than water.

What happens when rates rise? You may lose your house. You don’t want this to happen while you’re PM.

Will Serving As Prime Minister Of The 3rd World Be Trudeau’s Downfall?

Interesting to note media’s take on a potential Trudeau downfall. Everything other than one good reason for a fall from grace: the man has never stopped playing favourites.

It goes like this: Canadian-born citizens are racists. 3rd World-born immigrants are victims. Anglophones are bigots. Muslims are victims. “Old Stock” Canadians are homophobic, Gays are victims. Christians are genocidal, Aboriginals are victims.

Note the absence of historical context. Throughout Justin Trudeau’s parade of community apologies, was there ever an instance of placing Canada’s “national shame” within the context of its time?

Never is your answer. For Trudeau–or whoever programmed his brain to behave in this manner– a present-day Canadian is as guilty as one who walked our backwoods in 1867.

Canada’s Conservatives announce vaccine passports if they win the election

The leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Erin O’Toole, promised a federal proof-of-vaccine system if his party gets elected, which means that those who support civil liberties are going to be left with few options as all major parties support the invasive practices.

New negative ads from the Liberals an admission it’s a tight race

The Liberal Party of Canada unleashed a trio of television ads Saturday attacking Erin O’Toole and the Conservatives using the trifecta of oft-tried Liberal wedge issues: abortion, gun control and two-tier health care.

Scumbag Trudeau was eager to lick Communist China’s Ass says Globe

Scumbag Trudeau was eager to lick Communist China’s Ass says Globe

Trudeau initially hoped for common ground with China. But the Michael Spavor and Kovrig detentions marked a turning point in relations

Late in the afternoon of Aug. 31, 2016, Xi Jinping greeted Justin Trudeau in Villa 12 at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, a storied spot where the Chinese leadership has hosted some of its most valued guests. Kim Il-sung, Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher stayed there. So did Mao Zedong.

The 2016 trip was Mr. Trudeau’s first visit to China as Prime Minister, and he arrived with high expectations. He wanted to rekindle a relationship with a rising superpower whose consumer markets and bulging capital accounts offered opportunity for Canadian commerce.

Mr. Trudeau also saw a role for Canada in furthering China’s interests.

“He was saying that, like his father had helped China to rejoin the United Nations, he would help China to occupy its rightful place on the international scene,” said a person who was in the room. The Globe and Mail is not identifying the person because they are not authorized to disclose what took place in the meeting.

What a scumbag. Go incognito.
