Just as you thought the 2020s couldn’t get any more dystopian, we are now witnessing the enthusiastic embrace of corporate censorship by the Left in the name of combatting the nebulous scourge of “misinformation.” Joe Rogan, the most popular podcaster in the English language, has found himself at the center of a firestorm of progressive ire, from scientists to celebrities to rock legends to White House spokespersons acting in their official capacity, all for the crime of allegedly spreading dangerous misinformation and endangering public health.

White House Recommends Spotify Do More to Censor Joe Rogan

The White House indicated Tuesday that Spotify’s attempts to address what they described as coronavirus “misinformation” on podcaster Joe Rogan’s interviews was not a strong enough response to the freedom of speech controversy.

They removed To Kill a Mockingbird from the required reading list because the n-word was in it and was written by a white woman.

According to the Left, a white woman can never use that word under any circumstances nor fully understand the “lived experiences” of a black person so cannot write about them.

Facts behind the fact checkers: NewsGuard is a sham and they are targeting your kids

The American Federation of Teachers is buying 1.7 million Newsguard licenses for teachers nationwide. They will then share them with millions of students. Since students turn to the internet in increasing numbers annually, they will be highly susceptible to stinted propaganda coming from a source that touts itself as a “fact-checker.” In short, Newsguard is cloaking cleverly concealed inaccuracies and, in some instances, flagrant conflicts of interests as facts. This is eerily reminiscent of the methodology employed by Joseph Goebbels in NAZI Germany.

Mass Formation: Deployed on You After Over 200 Years of Study

Today in “factchecking the factcheckers”, junior academics cited by Forbes, Associated Press, Reuters and The Independent have just not done their homework concerning the work of Professor Dr. Mattias Desmet of the University of Ghent in Belgum. All I can say about this is that I hope that their naïve, ignorant, grandstanding statements to the press are brought up during their future Academic Tenure and Advancement reviews.

But there has been an amazingly coordinated effort to shoot the messenger and actively character assassinate (or “defenestrate”) me as a surrogate while avoiding any reference to the highly credentialed academic Professor Dr. Mattias Desmet who actually developed the theory and has documented the extensive evidence in an upcoming academic book. So, what can we learn from this in the short term?

Information disorder makes any health crisis more deadly. It slows down our response time on climate change. It undermines democracy. It creates a culture in which racist, ethnic, and gender attacks are seen as solutions, not problems. Today, mis- and disinformation have become a force multiplier for exacerbating our worst problems as a society. Hundreds of millions of people pay the price, every single day, for a world disordered by lies.”
