I have been detained in a COVID jail.
It’s not a surprise to me — we knew that Trudeau was doing this to innocent Canadians, even though the CBC lied and said that it was a conspiracy. I entered the belly of the beast to document firsthand what it is like in these facilities.
Allegedly, people were being assaulted, denied water and all-around treated like animals. It seems like the situation is more dire out east, but where I am it is no cakewalk either.
Whether or not lockdowns are justifiable on public-health grounds, they certainly represent the greatest infringement on civil liberties in modern history. In the UK, lockdowns have contributed to the largest economic contraction in more than 300 years, as well as countless bankruptcies, and a dramatic rise in public borrowing.

We’re just a couple months into the year and 2021 is already looking better than 2020. COVID cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are all falling as multiple vaccines are approved and being administered. The distribution system is not perfect, and improvements are needed, but in general, the news is good and hopeful. Americans are looking forward to getting vaccinated and getting back into the regular swing of life.
Rural Ontario politician Randy Hillier is no stranger to controversy.
For much of the pandemic, the Lanark–Frontenac–Kingston MPP has taken to social media to voice his displeasure with the province’s handling of COVID-19,, questioning the effectiveness of masks and lockdowns.
Near the end of December, a Kingston-area physician penned a letter to Hillier disputing his COVID-19 claims.
Ontario’s long-term care minister was aware of the dangers the novel coronavirus posed to the sector long before it was declared a global pandemic, a newly released transcript from the province’s commission on the matter reveals.
The transcript of the Long-Term Care COVID-19 Commission’s interview with Merrilee Fullerton and her deputy shows the pair advocated for stronger measures than what the government was willing to put in place, earlier than they were willing to act.

White House says ‘no’ to sharing vaccines with Canada and Mexico
WASHINGTON – The White House is making it abundantly clear it has no plans to share America’s COVID-19 vaccines with Canada or Mexico.
Press secretary Jen Psaki has been indicating for weeks that the Biden administration would not allow the export of doses manufactured in the U.S. any time soon.
Today, with Mexico planning to explicitly ask for help, Psaki ruled the possibility out entirely.
Sainted Irish Mother, infected by Covid in hospital, is not doing well today, it remains touch and go.

Peel Public Health has apologized after telling parents to keep their young children in separate rooms with no contact with the rest of the family during isolation.

It should be clear by now that the COVID relief package is little more than a gigantic giveaway to special interests that are loyal to the Democrats and bailouts for mismanaged blue states.

The tests are used on people quarantined or entering China, and the practice “has not been confirmed [to be effective] anywhere else in the world,” Kato said, according to ABC. He said that it was not known how many Japanese citizens recieved the anal swab test, according to the BBC.

Travellers say they’re frustrated by long wait times to book hotel quarantines and chaotic service during their stays.
Raymond Truesdale recorded a now-viral video of a crowd of hotel guests yelling at staff in a government-sanctioned hotel in Toronto on Friday. They said they hadn’t been fed for hours and weren’t getting clear answers from the front desk.
“It was a boondoggle. Pandemonium. You could see people really frustrated and I don’t blame them” he told CTV News in a video interview.

Canada is being described as a “vaccine pirate” after the latest announcement of COVID vaccine approvals showed we will be getting our doses from a facility funded to provide vaccines for the developing world.
It’s hard to believe it’s March again. But we’re in a better place now than we were last time this month rolled around. Along with public health measures that are keeping us safe, we’ve got vaccines being distributed across the country, with millions more on the way.

I’m looking forward to reusing this post every March 1.

Mounties confirmed they are investigating several videos that show a confrontation between a man who refused to wear a mask and staff at the Canadian Tire in Burnaby, B.C.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has backtracked after it claimed that lockdowns were improving cities.
On Feb. 26, the World Economic Forum put out a video on Twitter with the caption: “lockdowns are quietly improving cities around the world.”
The video showed images of empty streets and idle businesses and claimed that lockdowns led to a drop in carbon emissions and improved air quality.
