German Eco-Extremist Receives Harsher Sentence After Launching Appeal

A member of the climate alarmist group Letzte Generation (Last Generation) has been sentenced to eight months in prison, the longest prison sentence handed out to a member of the group so far.

The 41-year-old woman from Cologne was sentenced by the Tiergarten District Court in Berlin after participating in three blockades in the city between October 10th and 19th last year, during which she glued herself to the street during two protests, Die Welt reports.

Initially, the woman had only been subjected to fines for her actions but later faced trial after she decided to appeal.

Just Stop Oil get a frosty reception in Bristol

Bristol locals clashed with Just Stop Oil protestors today, pictured grabbing banners from the activist group as they brought traffic to a standstill in the south west.

An estimated 50 people took part in the group’s march through the city, aiming to bring attention to their cause through intentional disruption.

Just Stop Oil said it was protesting the government’s decision to issue new oil and gas licences for exploration and extraction, which the Prime Minister has claimed is ‘entirely consistent’ with Net Zero commitments.

Extinction Rebellion activists killed dozens of fish with green-dye protest, says mayor

Activists from the Extinction Rebellion movement have been accused of killing fish in the river and fountains of a French town with a bright green dye that they poured in the water to protest against a toxic waste project.

Éric Straumann, the mayor of Colmar, an Alsatian town whose waterside district is known as Little Venice, said dozens of dead fish were found floating on the surface after the protesters dumped drums of fluorescein in the River Lauch at the weekend.

NYPD arrest large group of climate change protesters

World leaders are descending on midtown Manhattan for the United Nations General Assembly and with them so are protesters taking to the streets of NYC.

Activists demanding an end to fossil fuel financing were arrested outside the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Monday, according to WABC.

Their arrests came after New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) announced its gridlock alert days for the rest of the year starting with the week of the assembly.

Wind turbines may be killing whales. Why won’t Greenpeace admit it?

A Blue whale near a seventy-five foot boat.

The nonprofit is not enjoying being hoist by its own precautionary petard

Who cares about whales? Whales might be dying because of sonar surveying, but Greenpeace simply ignores the science that doesn’t suit it.

So far last year, seventy-one whales have washed up dead on the shores of New England and neighboring states. The rate seems to have risen in recent years along with a growth in the number of offshore wind turbines. A small group of concerned citizens have started to campaign against the turbines on behalf of the whales, and the journalist Michael Shellenberger has made a short film about their efforts called Thrown to the Wind.

Climate assholes spray Brandenburg Gate orange

Police detained 14 people on suspicion of criminal property damage at the German capital’s most iconic sight on Sunday after part of it was sprayed orange and yellow by environmental activists.

Last Generation said fire extinguishers were used to spray the landmark on Sunday morning.

Police said they prevented demonstrators from climbing the monument after officers noticed a hydraulic lift near the Berlin landmark.

Veganism is as bad for the planet as meat-eating

Someone at PETA thought this was a good idea. Vegan diets degrade the brain.

Environmental campaigners are keen to tell us the greenhouse gases emitted by mass animal farming play a significant role in warming the globe. As Greenpeace puts it, “the climate impact of meat is enormous — roughly equivalent to all the driving and flying of every car, truck and plane in the world.”

Why is the green movement targeting energy security?

Stopping domestic fossil fuel production won’t solve climate change

The energy crisis continues to hit Europe hard. In particular, the German economy is still reeling after losing its access to cheap Russian gas.

However, it’s not just Vladimir Putin’s war that’s to blame. A chart posted on X by Daniel Kral shows that a big part of Europe’s problem is self-inflicted. Just 10 years ago the EU (excluding the UK) was producing more than 30% of its demand for natural gas, but since then the figure has slumped to less than 15%. The timing could hardly be worse.

Indian Tribal Cops in Nevada Have No Patience for Climate Protesters

Sometimes a video is worth a thousand words.

Eco-fascists decided to transplant their militant activist tactics from Europe to the United States. That includes vandalizing art and blocking streets. But while America is not in great shape, it’s not Europe.

New documentary ‘proves’ building offshore wind farms does kill whales

The increase in whale, dolphin, and other cetacean deaths off the East Coast of the United States since 2016 is not due to the construction of large industrial wind turbines, U.S. government officials say.

Their scientists have done the research, they say, to prove that whatever is killing the whales is completely unrelated to the wind industry.
