President Biden took to the airwaves last week to present himself as a hero in the fight against COVID-19. In a new high for political irony, his plan is to force employers to coerce their employees to take the vaccines developed under the Trump administration – the same vaccines he railed against as unsafe less than a year ago.

Biden issued two executive orders on Thursday requiring vaccination against COVID for federal workers and contractors who work for the federal government. He also asked the Department of Labor to issue an emergency order requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to ensure their workers are vaccinated or tested on a weekly basis.
However, Biden’s order on federal workers applies to employees of the executive branch. The House of Representatives and the Senate belong to the separate legislative branch, and the courts to the judicial branch of the federal government.

“Your decision is disappointing,” Conway wrote in the letter, “but understandable given the need to distract from a news cycle that has you mired in multiple self-inflicted crises and plummeting poll numbers, including a rise in new COVID cases, a dismal jobs report, inflation, record amount of drugs coming across the southern border, and, of course, the chaotic and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan that left hundreds of Americans and thousands of Afghan allies stranded under Taliban rule.”
The House leader’s comments are particularly noteworthy as President Joe Biden’s handling of the total troop withdrawal from Afghanistan has been widely criticized by Democrat and Republican lawmakers and politicians, as well as the general American public.
The Conservative Party of Canada is currently leading the Liberals by wide margins in the majority of officially published polls so far in the 2021 snap election, and polling aggregators like 338 Canada are also projecting that the Conservative Party will likely win the most seats in Parliament.
In spite of the lead, Conservative Party leader Erin O’Toole has been jumping from foot to foot over the past week when it comes to the issue of firearms.
Morrison traveled to New South Wales over the weekend in a private jet to visit family on Australian Father’s Day even as millions in the country remained in lockdown and were unable to visit out-of-state family members, the New York Times reported.
The prime minister spent time in Sydney before returning to Canberra to partake in a national security meeting, an action which critics immediately labeled as an example of double standards.
Yet instead of owning up to the blunder, Morrison defended the move in an interview published Tuesday, telling Sky News that while he understood people’s frustration, his trip did not violate any lockdown rules.

Friday on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson ridiculed the media and those claiming “progress” in Afghanistan in the wake of the collapse of the U.S.-installed government in Kabul in an abbreviated amount of time.
Carlson noted the U.S. military equipment left behind, which he described as the Biden administration arming the Taliban and marooning its own citizens.
