What is this?

Aren’t reporters supposed to be curious about things? They’re the sort of people who like investigating and asking questions and junk, that’s why they got into it, right?

He’s in Mensa! He’s already finished a semester of college!

This is a 9 year old kid. “Well, there are a few things that I want to be. An astrophysicist, an engineer, a nuclear chemist, a software developer, a rocket engineer…”

When I was nine we were all “I want to be a vet because I like animals…”

But apparently he’s graduated high school online (thanks, Covid hysteria!) and is a genius. It says he’s a genius right there in the title, so it must be true. Um, what classes did he take? What exams did he pass? What certification? What’s with his distinctly odd parents? “I just had to break out of the box… think outside of what people know, and what I know, growing up… and give him chance to be and do what he is dreaming to be and do.” (Kamala?!? – Ed.)

Okay, it’s not an important news story like Joe desperately trying to find his notes/marbles during the State Of The Union Address, but the state of the media is frighteningly weird. And I’m not trying to pick on a kid, his parents are doing that already.

I couldn’t make it through Neil DeGrasse Tyson, but there’s always this:

‘Equity’ Policy Results in Firing of 2 Veteran Educators for Refusing to Do ‘Wakanda Salute’

Two veteran educators from the Bronx were fired recently for the simple act of refusing to do the “Wakanda salute,” a gesture from the popular superhero movie “Black Panther.”

The gesture of Marvel Comics’ fictional African nation of Wakanda has been co-opted as a symbol of black power, like the raised fist iconography used extensively beginning in the 1960s by the militant Black Panthers.

Both fired teachers had nearly 30 years of service.

Tucker Carlson Ruthlessly Mocks Ex-Colleague Shep Smith

Fox News host Tucker Carlson spoke out on Thursday night to relentlessly mock his former colleague Shep Smith, continuing the longstanding feud they have.

Smith left Fox News at the end of 2019, and he has since taken a job hosting on CNBC, where he has vowed to “fight disinformation.” Carlson went after Smith on his show on Thursday night for a story his former coworker recently covered.

“Tonight we bring you the story of a genuine investigative journalist,” Carlson said mockingly. “A man who’s been forgotten. Cast aside like an Acosta when he should be an Edward R. Murrow. That’s an injustice we plan to rectify right now.”
