CBC says racism against white people “doesn’t exist”

In response to a viewer’s complaint that a CBC radio program had discriminated against people of British descent, a CBC director has said that racism against white people “doesn’t exist.”

The complaint focused on a June 30, 2021 airing of CBC Vancouver’s radio show The Early Edition, where a guest had complained that schools were named after “Lord so-and-so or Queen this or Sir whatever.”

USA Today and gender studies experts confirm: Women don’t exist

Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson’s inability, or unwillingness, to provide a definition for the word “woman” makes for a rather silly controversy, but it highlights an important fact: Women don’t actually exist.

Such is the point of Alia Dastagir’s piece in USA Today. According to Dastagir, there “is no sufficient way to clearly define what makes someone a woman.” Dastagir would know, after all: She spoke to “scientists, gender law scholars, and philosophers of biology” who determined that Jackson’s nonanswer was “commendable.”

Resistance is rising to woke colleges’ race and sex discrimination

People used to talk about “resistance” to President Donald Trump. That’s old hat. Now it’s resistance to the woke.

And we’re seeing more and more of that resistance. University of Michigan economics professor Mark J. Perry is working with numerous folks across the nation to file equal-opportunity complaints with the federal Department of Education when colleges and universities discriminate on the basis of race and sex.

Have we reached peak trans?

The troubling impact of gender policies can no longer be ignored

Is it really too much to ask those who struggle to define the word “woman” to refrain from running for public office? Ketanji Brown Jackson, Joe’s Biden’s nominee for the Supreme Court, was asked to provide the dreaded definition during her confirmation hearing on Tuesday. “No I can’t,” she replied. “I’m not a biologist.”

Jackson hadn’t been asked to explain how blood is deoxygenated, or to offer an intricate overview of the molecular mechanisms by which protein function is regulated in cells. The question “what is a woman?” is hardly the riddle of the sphinx; a reasonably intelligent six-year-old would be able to give an adequate answer.

No on Ketanji Brown Jackson

Barring an unexpected plot twist, the Senate Judiciary Committee has concluded its hearings on the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. Democratic senators appear primed to confirm her, but Republicans should vote “No.”

The hearings were testy at times, but they were a model of civility compared with the Brett Kavanaugh or Clarence Thomas hearings. Unlike Kavanaugh, Judge Jackson did not have senators reciting the preposterous claims of a since-imprisoned grifter that she was a gang rapist, and did not see the Capitol and the hearing room overrun by angry mobs. Unlike Amy Coney Barrett, she did not face a barrage of media attacks on her faith and her family. Unlike Samuel Alito, she was not slimed by tenuous association with racist or sexist groups, even though Jackson herself currently sits on the board of overseers of a college that is being sued for its open and notorious practice of anti-Asian race discrimination in admissions.

Canadian Armed Forces too white and too male senior officers say

Our armed forces would not allow a photo like this today as it would be certain to offend the racialized crossdresser community.

Too white and too male, the Canadian Armed Forces is understaffed and struggling to find recruits, senior officers said Wednesday.

“A lack of inclusion is a major barrier to both retention and recruitment,” said Lt.-Gen. Jennie Carignan, the CAF’s chief of professional conduct and culture, a role created by the federal government last year.

“Culture change is a ‘must have,’ rather than a ‘nice to have,’ and not only for our current, but also for our future defence team members.”

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine brings renewed focus on the military strength of NATO countries, the CAF is currently short thousands of members. About 71 per cent of its workforce is now made up of white men, a demographic that makes up just 39 per cent of the civilian workforce, said Maj.-Gen. Lise Bourgon, the CAF’s acting head of military personnel.

Yea we’ll be a lot better off with a CAF composed of Transvestite Muslim Lesbians.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek vows to produce more gay content for kids – but gets slammed by parents

Disney employees walked out of the company’s headquarters on Tuesday to protest the slow response to Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill as parents push back against the company’s last-minute attempts to shield itself from criticism that it’s not doing enough to support the LGBTQ community.

In a town hall meeting on Monday, CEO Bob Chapek said the entertainment behemoth would put together a task force to ensure that more LGBTQ-awareness content is available for children.

No, it’s not racist to teach kids to speak properly

Woke academics think standard English is a tool of racial oppression.

Teaching children to pronounce words correctly is a form of racial injustice. There is no such thing as incorrect pronunciation, only alternative pronunciation.

That’s the view of three linguists at the University of Essex. In an article in the Conversation, published earlier this month and picked up by the press over the weekend, Amanda Cole, Ella Jeffries and Peter Patrick argue that the idea of standard English – a correct way to say words – is ‘pernicious’ and ‘a smokescreen for prejudice’. This dialect-based prejudice even has a name – ‘linguicism’.

Disney World freaks out over high school drill team

Disney Indian – Peter Pan

Immediately after coming down strongly in favor of teaching kindergarteners about so-called “transexuals,” Florida’s Disney World is now desperately sorry that a high school drill team from Texas used cheers that “stereotyped” Native Americans. That fact that these “stereotypes” were exactly the type of behavior in which Native Americans proudly engaged was irrelevant to the uber-woke company that is more interested in pandering to college faculty lounges than to the Americans who still pour money into that increasingly sleazy, disreputable company.

Unsocial Media Monitor: Team left unhinged at celebration of St. Patrick’s Day

By now, you are likely aware that there are elusive, ever-changing, progressive-determined rules surrounding the celebration of holidays:

Kids in search of Halloween costumes better make sure their race matches that of their favorite Disney character. Thanksgiving is really a “Day of Mourning.” And you likely have a vague sense that there are definitely rules about if and how people are allowed to celebrate Cinco de Mayo —but good luck figuring out what they are.

But one could be forgiven for thinking it was still possible to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in peace. What could team left possibly have to say about St. Patrick’s Day? A look at social media on Thursday revealed one of the main complaints about the holiday: white people seem to enjoy it.

‘Rooted In Colonialism and Racism’ – National Museum ‘Cancels’ Steam Trains

National Museum Wales (Amgueddfa Cymru) owns a to-scale replica of Richard Trevithick’s steam-powered locomotive, which debuted in 1804 when it replaced a team of horses. It pulled a train nearly ten miles along the tramway of the Penydarren Ironworks — a groundbreaking achievment widely perceived to be “ahead of its time”.

However, the Welsh government-sponsored NMW has now pledged to “explore how the slave trade linked and fed into the development of the steam and railway infrastructure in Wales” as they conduct a woke audit their collection — which could lead to the placement of a disclaimer next to their engine replica dubiously connecting it to the slave trade.

“The Least Woke City in America”

Miami’s increasingly conservative political culture reflects the influence of immigrants fleeing socialist dystopias.

They’re still talking about the caravans: the miles-long lines of cars, their passengers waving American flags, Cuban flags, and Donald Trump banners, that painted streaks of red, white, and blue down Calle Ocho and around Little Havana, bringing much of Miami to a halt for hours at a time ahead of the 2020 election. On a recent trip to the city, those I spoke with—Republican operatives and supporters, as well as more impartial observers of Miami’s political scene—described these demonstrations vividly. The multinational, multilingual expressions of support for a Republican presidential candidate were unmistakably Miami. They displayed a flavor of GOP enthusiasm that couldn’t happen anywhere else, at least not on this scale. The demonstrators took cues from the city’s proud anti-Communist past. Some of the organizers of the events—officially known as the “Anti- Communist and Anti-Socialist Caravans for Freedom and Democracy”—included groups established to fight the Cuban dictatorship. The parades were a rejoinder to pollsters who warned not to read too much into enthusiastic displays of support for a given candidate. Miami was the site of major political change in 2020, and if you watched the car parades, you saw the indicators earlier than most.

Elon Musk Condemns Rising Woke Trend In Corporate America

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk condemned “ESG” standards — a growing trend in corporate America to make businesses more “socially conscious.”

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria are “a set of standards for a company’s operations that socially conscious investors use to screen potential investments,” according to Investopedia. For instance, a company may emphasize its use of green energy, association with LGBTQ suppliers, or otherwise arrange its operations such that producing shareholder value is inseparable from a leftist agenda.

Dr. Seuss’s Legacy Is About to Get ‘Woke-Washed’

New Dr. Seuss books are coming, but they’re coming with an agenda.

Last year, the woke left decided that after decades of being in print, several of Dr. Seuss’s books were suddenly racist, not diverse enough, etc., and they were ultimately canceled by his publisher. Even Joe Biden refused to acknowledge Dr. Seuss in his presidential proclamation for Read Across America Day, which occurs on Seuss’s birthday.
