Joe Biden’s rather fascistic primetime address earlier this week earned widespread condemnation from the right and mixed reactions from the left. Even some at CNN thought it was inappropriate and went too far, particularly for using members of the military as props for a blatantly partisan speech.
President Joe Biden walked back his attacks on Donald Trump’s MAGA supporters, saying on Friday he doesn’t consider ‘any Trump supporter a threat to the country.’
‘I don’t consider any Trump supporter a threat to the country,’ the president said at the White House.
It was a contrast to his remarks on Thursday night when, in a primetime address on the threat to democracy, he said Trump and his supporters were a threat to the republic.

Democrats melt down after CNN hosts criticize Biden speech
Democrats had an online meltdown after hosts from their leftist network CNN dared question President Biden’s use of the military during his fiery primetime attack on his Republican rivals.
Hosts Brianna Keilar and Jeff Zeleny were just a few of the people upset at the commander-in-chief using Marines to back him during his speech — sparking demands for their axing and an outright boycott of the left-wing network.
“You are clearly a shill for the RNC,” one person whose Twitter bio includes a #BidenHarris2020 hashtag tweeted Zeleny just for saying that using the Marine Band was “a break with White House traditions.”
Donald Trump launched a seething attack on President Joe Biden where he branded him ‘insane’ and asked if he was ‘suffering from late stage dementia’ after the president claimed he was a ‘threat to democracy’.
The furious former president took to his Truth Social account to slam the ‘awkward and angry’ speech outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia – and called on someone to explain to his successor what MAGA means, ‘slowly but passionately’.
The late night rant also saw him accuse the 79-year-old of ‘threatening America, including with the possible use of military force’ as he fought back at the brutal address to the nation.

Perhaps it shouldn’t be all that surprising that an election in 2020 that featured an unprecedented number of absentee ballots has produced an absentee president. But that’s apparently what we have now in the United States and the numbers don’t lie.

Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “Greg Kelly Reports,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) sounded off about the FBI’s raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
Gaetz emphasized that the “bizarre” raid on Trump, in addition to the push for 87,000 new IRS Democrats, showed that “every element of our government is weaponized against us.”
ROCKVILLE, Maryland — President Joe Biden says members of the Republican Party are embracing a political philosophy that is edging dangerously close to fascism before November’s midterm elections.
“What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy,” Biden said Thursday at a million-dollar fundraiser, according to a pool report. “It’s not just Trump; it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semifascism,” he added of former President Donald Trump.
“I respect conservative Republicans,” Biden added later. “I don’t expect these MAGA Republicans.”

‘What we’re seeing now, is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy,’ Biden told about 100 wealthy donors. ‘It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the – I’m going to say something – it’s like semi-fascism.’
The president warned that not only were reproductive rights on the ballot in November – but gay marriage – and the GOP could, again, go after Obamacare.
‘This is not your father’s Republican party. This is a different deal,’ he said, repeating a line he’s often delivered at fundraisers.
“The issue is debt cancellation might reduce the racial wealth gap between two rich doctors, a rich black doctor and rich white doctor, but it actually widens the racial wealth gap overall, because disproportionately the people who hold student debt that went to college are white, and the 87% of Americans that didn’t go to college are disproportionately people of color,” Marc Goldwein, who also serves a senior policy director for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, told CNN host Poppy Harlow.
It is usually customary for the sitting president to campaign for the candidates of his party during the midterm elections. This year, however, it’s a different story.
President Biden seemed unfamiliar Monday with the specifics of the massive spending bill dubbed the Inflation Reduction Act that Senate Democrats passed Sunday, saying it funds healthcare “and God knows what else.”
Moments earlier, Biden misstated the size of last year’s $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure law while touring flood damage in the Kentucky hamlet of Lost Creek.
“We’ve never done this before, but because of a number of things we got done on a bipartisan basis — like a billion, 200 million-dollar infrastructure project — like what we’re doing today, we passed yesterday, helping take care of everything from health care to God knows what else,” Biden said.

President Biden is toying with the idea of declaring climate change a national emergency. Proponents want him to usher in drastic changes to address climate change–bypassing approval from Congress.
But as the old saying goes, haste makes waste. We only need to remember untested environmental policies that sounded good but ended up creating a bigger mess.
Consider California. The Golden State threw every incentive it could at solar energy beginning in 2006. In turn, most new construction in California included solar panels. Despite lawmakers knowing solar energy was relatively untested. Solar energy is significantly less efficient than fossil fuels – especially in a state known for struggling with rolling blackouts. And it’s created a toxic waste problem.
Apparently, not being able to find a better excuse to extend a state of emergency, the Biden administration declared another “public health emergency….” According to USA Today, the administration claims it is “a move that could make it easier to tap funding and wield the federal bureaucracy to combat the once-rare disease.”
Biden appears to be following the thoroughly disreputable World Health Organization, which appears to have intentionally and inadvertently botched so much during the CCP virus pandemic. On July 23, the WTO claimed this “‘extraordinary’ situation qualifies as a global emergency.”
