Speaking on Tuesday on the Calgary Eyeopener, chamber president and CEO Deborah Yedlin said businesses have voiced concerns surrounding their ability to stay open amid the province’s lifting of restrictions.
“Our members have told us that a vaccine certificate passport is a very good idea, and it’s really, really critical to be able to continue to open successfully and consistently,” Yedlin said.
“If we’re not going to be testing, tracing and isolating, we need another mechanism to keep everyone safe.”
Dr. Rochelle Walensky has been making the media rounds. During her most recent appearance on CNN, The Conservative Treehouse caught her making a startling admission: The vaccines neither prevent people from catching COVID nor from spreading COVID. At most, they simply reduce the severity of the symptoms people experience if they do catch COVID. From this statement, Sundance draws the logical conclusion: Why should people get vaccine passports if they are both as contagious and as vulnerable to contagion as their unvaccinated cohorts?
“Taking into account the increase in cases, the fall coming up with the back to school and back to work and the expected prevalence of the delta variant, the conditions are there to deploy the vaccination passport,” Christian Dubé said.

Many will attribute this variation on words to the pen of William Shakespeare, when in fact the source is British poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
Either way, it illustrates a critical phenomenon within contemporary culture: the myriad ways in which the Covid pandemic is manifest within society, along with the obfuscation of these circumstances.
Perhaps most revelant of all is the concept of money. Or rather, the world of corporate profits–as collected by what can be referred to as the “pandemic industry.”
Somewhere near Cozumel in the Caribbean Sea, there’s a cruise ship that had zero unvaccinated people aboard but that still suffered an outbreak of Covid-19. This goes against the narrative that the reason for “breakthrough cases” is due to too many unvaccinated people mingling with those who have taken the experimental injections.
The Carnival Vista, which departed from Galveston, Texas, on July 31, has issued strict face mask protocols and ordered infected people aboard into isolation. Mainstream media is already busy blowing it off while the cruise company is patting itself on the back for reacting to swiftly.
There has been a great deal of discussion about the vitriolic, almost rabid disposition of people who are pushing the vaccination.
This should not be a surprise, although it might be disconcerting to find formerly reasonable people in your network, perhaps even in your family, now become seemingly unhinged if the subject arises.
It is demonstrably true, there has been a cleaving of our American population as the debate about the COVID vaccination rages on. However, it is wise to consider the underlying psychology of a person who has been vaccinated, before engaging in an argument. You may end up being entirely correct in your position; however, an intense or combative argument? At what cost?

For months on end, the left has been chanting three words with a forceful conviction — black lives matter.
As it turns out, however, those words are ultimately hollow, because not all “black lives matter” to the modern-day left.
Rather, to them, only vaccinated black lives matter.

With the Delta variant potentially fuelling the start of a fourth wave of COVID-19 in Canada, the question remains how the provincial and federal governments will handle dealing with vaccinated and unvaccinated Canadians.
Several provinces have already issued some form of vaccine passport or certificate, while others are waiting for a federal vaccine passport, and still other provinces have ruled out the idea entirely.
