David Krayden: Guilbeault’s Trip to China Is a Betrayal of Canada’s Vital Interests

So Environment and Climate Change Minister Steven Guilbeault is going to Beijing from Aug. 26–31 to cuddle up to the Chinese Communist Party.

If you think that is too strong a contention, consider how Guilbeault is executive vice chairperson on the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED).

Guilbeault’s loyalty is not to Canada.

Canada’s progressive parties have lost the plot on the housing crisis

While Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tries to pretend the high cost of housing isn’t a federal problem, Pierre Poilievre won’t stop talking about it. His description two months ago of a postwar Niagara house as an overpriced “tiny shack” may have been pretty tone-deaf for a politician who lives in a multimillion-dollar publicly funded home, but the Conservative Leader hit pay dirt last week with a heartwarming story of how he lived as a student with his single father near a Calgary rapid transit station. He called for politicians to get serious about affordability for single parents, students, seniors and others in housing need, by getting many more new high-rise apartments approved by municipalities near federally funded public transit.

Mr. Poilievre is absolutely right on many of these counts – and also dead wrong on others.

Something to consider … The Liberal’s Mass immigration scam will cushion the decline if not further inflate real estate values. It’s a cyncial election strategy but protecting voter home equity by inundating cities with migrants might work given urban centre’s are LPC strongholds.

A recruitment ‘crisis’ threatens the RCMP’s future — the new boss has plans to turn it around

… The Management Advisory Board, an outside panel of experts set up to give impartial advice to the RCMP commissioner, recently reported that the force’s recruitment problem can be described accurately as a “crisis” — one that could threaten its ability to serve as Canada’s national police force.

“If these [regular members] are not replaced by new cadets from diverse backgrounds and with capacity to serve, the RCMP will be even more challenged to meet its service delivery commitments under the provincial, territorial and municipal police service agreements, and to maintain federal policing capacity,” the board said in a report released in May.

The Titan Submersible Disaster Was Years in the Making, New Details Reveal

41.73º N, 49.95º W, North Atlantic Ocean, June 18, 2023

Fate cleared up the weather, blew off the fog, and calmed the waves, as the submersible and its five passengers dived through the surface waters and fell into another world. They entered the deep ocean’s uppermost layer, known as the twilight zone, passing creatures glimmering with bioluminescence, tiny fish with enormous teeth. Then they entered the midnight zone, where larger creatures ghost by like alien moons. Two miles down, they entered the abyssal zone—so named because it’s the literal abyss.

Deeper means heavier: pressures of 5,000, then 6,000 pounds per square inch. As it descended, the submersible was gripped in a tightening vise. Maybe they heard a noise then, maybe they heard an alarm.

I hope they watched the abyss with awe through their viewport, because I’d like to think their last sights were magnificent ones.

Europe’s Climate Consensus Is Unraveling

The departure of EU ‘climate’ Commissioner Frans Timmermans—who will be taking his chances in the upcoming Dutch election—may well be a pivotal moment for the future of ‘green’ politics. Timmermans is the face of the European Union’s drive for ever more intrusive regulations that are meant to combat climate change—regulations that are being met with resistance from member states. Despite the Commission’s best efforts to push the Green Deal, exorbitant economic costs and voter discontent have sparked a renewed interest in nuclear energy throughout Europe.

Elon is offering us a raw deal with X

He and his team have taken to poetry to convince us that a little censorship really isn’t so bad

Elon Musk, the owner of X — once known as Twitter, may she rest in peace — is making Americans an offer that they must refuse. When he purchased the social media platform last year for a whopping $44 billion, he led us to believe he was doing it in order to save free speech, an ideal in regard to which he said was an absolutist. Today, what he is actually offering instead is a censorship regime slightly more friendly to the right than his predecessor. It’s a recipe for disaster.

Biden Administration Funding Iran’s Nuclear Weapons Program, Incentivizing Terror

The Biden Administration has destabilized the Middle East, launched a potential international nuclear arms race, incentivized global terrorism, increased American taxpayers’ funding both sides of the Ukraine war, crushed even further a people fighting for their freedom and appeased yet another rogue regime — after Afghanistan, China and Venezuela – this time one that the US State Department itself has called the “top state sponsor of terrorism,” Iran, all in one week.

Michael Knowles Pulls Back The Curtain On Trans-Identifying Ukrainian Military Spokesman

A spokesman for the Ukrainian military is a trans-identifying American who once ran for office on a marijuana-based platform and called for a “perpetual revolution” to “crush” American society, Daily Wire host Michael Knowles revealed Friday.

Michael “Sarah” Cirillo became a journalist before joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in October 2022, and eventually got promoted to the rank of sergeant before becoming an AFU spokesman. Knowles revealed that Cirillo began “to explore transition” two months after marrying his wife. He eventually divorced his wife, admitting that “she carried this secret in silence and in pain.”

Here’s the truth about this trans powerlifter’s first-place picture: The runners-up were the only female competitors willing to compete

Andres, a trans person, lifted 1,327lbs, calculated from the combined weight of three lifts: squat, bench and deadlift, and beat the closest competition by a whopping 470lbs.

The top 20 men’s competitors lift over 2,000lbs. If Andres competed against them, Andres wouldn’t even rank in the top 6,000.

But Andres’ deadlift was the second highest in women’s weightlifting history. It doubly was shocking because athletes setting records in my sport are in their 20s and early 30s.
