Completely avoidable “crisis” results in Chowtown being overrun by Trudeau “refugees”

‘A huge shame’: Asylum seekers sleeping on the streets of Toronto as city, feds argue over who should foot the bill

Advocates say it’s “a huge shame” that asylum seekers are being stranded on the streets of Toronto as the city and federal government argue over who should foot the bill to shelter them, and are calling on all levels of government to do more to address the issue.

In recent days, a few dozen people have been seen sleeping in an encampment on the sidewalk outside a referral centre for housing assistance and emergency shelter in downtown Toronto.

We all know who foots the bill – tax payers.

Chow and Trudeau are as careless of lives as they are of your money.

Inside the Pentagon office leading UFO investigations

The Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office leads the department’s efforts in investigating and understanding what it calls unidentified aerial phenomena, more commonly known as UFOs.

The office, which is within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, was formed last July due to a provision within the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act that expanded the scope of the previous iteration of the office, the Airborne Object Identification and Management Group.

Roswell UFO festival celebrates 27 years of extraterrestrial activities

The annual Roswell UFO Festival has long been a popular destination for extraterrestrial enthusiasts, featuring live music, parades, and an array of guest speakers.

Taking place last weekend, the three-day festival was first put on in 1996, paying homage to the Roswell incident, one of the nation’s most famous UFO sightings, which occurred one New Mexico summer in 1947.

One day I hope to attend.

I’m Not Dead Yet!

It was just four weeks ago today, I bled until I went unconscious. I’ll spare you (and myself) a repetition of the disgusting details; suffice it to say that the physician who was operating the “guided” biopsy machine on that fateful Friday afternoon got a little carried away. He poked a few too many holes in my prostate and, in his enthusiasm, jubilantly nicked an artery in the process. It was apparently just a nick at first so I had what was described as “not an unusual amount” of bleeding at first. Maybe the artery had been weakened but not entirely broken open just then; so they put me up on my feet and walked me out to my waiting angel of a wife and told her to take me home and put me to bed for the weekend with a warning to not lift anything or pretty much do anything at all.

From our friend Yaacov ben Moshe.

Foreign interference public inquiry agreement reached by all parties, Conservatives say

OTTAWA — The Conservatives said all parties agreed Friday on the scope for a public inquiry into foreign interference in Canada.

The agreement appeared to break the impasse between the governing Liberals and the Conservatives about how to proceed with negotiations to establish a probe into efforts of foreign governments to interfere in Canada’s elections and governance.

Over half of Canadians want Trudeau, Poilievre replaced as party leader before next election, poll suggests

Just over half of Canadians believe the federal Liberals and Conservatives need new leaders heading into the next federal election, according to a new Nanos Research poll.

The poll, conducted for The Globe and Mail, found 53 per cent of respondents were in favour of Justin Trudeau being replaced as Liberal Leader, while 51 per cent say Pierre Poilievre should not lead the Conservatives into the next election.

The real story is only 42% of committed Liberal voters support Junior while 71% of committed Conservatives support Poilievre. Singh has the support of 63% of committed communists.

Trudeau government condemns US provision of Cluster Bombs to Ukraine

They made Justin cry.

Canada is reiterating its stance against the use of cluster munitions following the Biden administration’s decision to send the controversial weapon to Ukraine amid Russia’s invasion.

In a statement sent to CTV News, the Government of Canada said its longstanding position on the weapon is clear in that Canada is fully against its use in accordance with Canada’s ban against landmines.

“Building on the trailblazing work of Lloyd Axworthy on the Ottawa Treaty to ban landmines, Canada championed the adoption of the Convention on Cluster Munitions, which is now ratified by more than 100 countries,” the statement said.

Cluster bombs: Biden defends decision to send Ukraine controversial weapons

US President Joe Biden has defended his “very difficult decision” to give Ukraine cluster bombs, which have a record of killing civilians.

The president said it had taken him “a while to be convinced to do it”, but he had acted because “the Ukrainians are running out of ammunition”.

Ukraine’s leader hailed the “timely” move.

But the UK’s PM suggested the country “discourages” the use of cluster bombs, while Spain criticised the decision.

Trudeau is leading an activist government — does Poilievre want to do the same?

With little fanfare, the House of Commons passed legislation last month to formally establish a federal child-care program.

The bill’s passage was never really in doubt. Between Liberal and NDP MPs, the government had more than enough votes. But it’s not every day the House agrees to create a major new social program (the bill still needs to pass the Senate).

Almost as notable as the bill’s passage is the fact that the vote was unanimous — 315 to 0.

One in three UK vegan products found to contain milk or egg

More than a third of foods labelled vegan contained animal products, research has found, prompting experts to warn shoppers with severe allergies they face potentially “tragic consequences”.

Forensic scientists found traces of egg or milk in an array of goods that were labelled as vegan or plant-based, with trading standards bosses calling for legal protection to stop consumers being “exploited by unethical food businesses”.

Brian Giesbrecht: The RCMP Failed Canadians at Kamloops

The RCMP has a long and honourable history, and has served Canadians well. RCMP top brass and regular officers have always insisted on doing their job in their own way. They have robustly specifically resisted all attempts by politicians to interfere in their clear mandate to enforce the law.

However, in May 2021 at Kamloops, the RCMP abandoned that honourable tradition, and abdicated their most important responsibility.

White pupils excluded from extra Saturday literacy lessons

White pupils have been excluded from extra weekend literacy classes at schools in North London, The Telegraph can reveal.

Parents at a primary school in Haringey have been told that schools will fund Saturday school places for children from black and black heritage families to “accelerate progress in reading and writing whilst also developing the children’s knowledge of black history and culture”.

However, no comparable offer was made for white pupils despite parents arguing that evidence shows white working-class boys have fallen behind their peers.

This sort of diseased thinking crops up too often for it to be accidental.

Nearly one in three Canadians can’t cover their bills, new survey suggests

Nearly one in three Canadians can’t cover their debt, a new survey suggests, as inflation and rising interest rates continue to be top of mind.

Credit reporting agency TransUnion, which surveyed 956 Canadian adults, found 32 per cent of respondents expected to be unable to pay off their current bills or loans in full. Of those, only 38 per cent planned to cover a partial amount.

UN says climate change ‘out of control’ after likely hottest week on record

The UN secretary general has said that “climate change is out of control”, as an unofficial analysis of data showed that average world temperatures in the seven days to Wednesday were the hottest week on record.

“If we persist in delaying key measures that are needed, I think we are moving into a catastrophic situation, as the last two records in temperature demonstrates,” António Guterres said, referring to the world temperature records broken on Monday and Tuesday.
