Canada Really Has to Reassess Which World Citizens It Is ‘Rescuing’

… Following a court ruling that mandated the immediate repatriation of Canadian ISIS terrorists who ended up in the Al Hol displacement camp in horrendous conditions (of course, they would not have found themselves there had they not joined ISIS in the first place!), we are now about to find ourselves dealing with the return of citizens who made a conscious decision to join a heinous jihadist organization that participated in unspeakable acts against many. Their victims include the Yazidis, a “nation” the terrorists saw as apostates and, hence, expendable.

Alec Baldwin Accused of ‘Extremely Reckless Acts’ in ‘Rust’ Killing

The actor Alec Baldwin and the armorer on the film “Rust” were charged on Tuesday with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of the movie’s cinematographer, according to court papers, filed in the First Judicial District Court in New Mexico, in which prosecutors accused them of failing to follow standard film safety protocols on set.

In a statement of probable cause against Mr. Baldwin filed in the court, Robert Shilling, a special investigator for the district attorney’s office, outlined the ways prosecutors claim that the actor had behaved negligently on set. They accused him of not receiving sufficient training on firearms, of failing to deal with safety complaints on set, of “putting his finger on the trigger of a real firearm when a replica or rubber gun should have been used” and of pointing the firearm at the film’s cinematographer and director.

That seems a harsh headline from the NYTimes? Have Left attitudes to Baldwin changed?

Canada’s Signing on to WEF Agile Nations Charter Marks ‘Radical Policy Shift,’ Says Tory MP

Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis commented on Jan. 28 on the information she helped surface about Canada’s involvement in a World Economic Forum (WEF) project seeking to streamline federal regulations, saying it represents a “radical policy shift” from the current governance model.

“First of all, how did Canada become a member state and who recognize this as necessary?” Lewis asked in a video posted on YouTube.

“I don’t even remember this issue being brought up in Parliament, although this is like a radical change in the way that we conceive policy in this country.”

More than 2,000 rabbis write to Speaker McCarthy urging him to kick Ilhan Omar off Foreign Affairs Committee

A group representing more than 2,000 rabbis are affirming their support for keeping Representative Ilhan Omar off the Foreign Affairs Committee as a ‘step’ toward snuffing out antisemitic speech in the U.S.

In a letter to Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York, the rabbis wrote requesting the House ‘follow through’ on Republicans’ pledge to remove the Minnesota Democrat from the committee on which she currently serves.

The communication from the Coalition for Jewish Values comes as some GOP members of the House have expressed they would not back McCarthy’s plans to strip Omar of her panel assignment.

Trudeau gov’t to send tanks to Ukraine while own military suffers from underfunding

Since early 2022 the Trudeau government has given $5 billion ‘in direct financial, military, humanitarian, and other assistance to Ukraine.’

OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government said it will be giving some of its battle tanks to Ukraine despite the fact the Canada’s own military has aging equipment and is woefully underfunded compared to some of its allies.

On January 26, Canada’s Defence Minister Anita Anand announced that Canada will be gifting Ukraine four of its 82 German-made Leopard 2 battle tanks, along with the training and resources to use them. The tanks are expected to be delivered to Ukraine sometime later this year.

Anand was in Ukraine in early January, which is when she was asked by her Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov for the tanks.

Heroin is now legal in Vancouver – and addicts are celebrating

Police simply walk past drug users as new law comes into force despite 2,272 deaths from illicit substances last year in British Columbia

At just past 8am I am standing on East Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver with a small packet of crack cocaine in my hand.

Snow is falling gently and dozens, if not hundreds, of drug addicts are already on the move, unbothered when they tread in the human faeces littering the pavement.

Some have already had their fix, and slump lifelessly against shopfronts or slumber in makeshift tents where many stash guns and knives.

Why Did Other Cops Fail To Stop the Lethal Assault on Tyre Nichols?

The Memphis, Tennessee, police officers who lethally beat, pepper-sprayed, and tased Tyre Nichols after a January 7 traffic stop were clearly out of control, delivering punishment for what they perceived as “contempt of cop” in the guise of making an arrest. Yet during the 13 minutes that elapsed between the stop and the police radio report that Nichols had been taken into custody, no one else who was present intervened to stop the blatantly illegal use of force.
