Drunkard Kennedy lines up woman-shooter Alec Baldwin to give hypocritical Meghan Markle a human rights award

Well, Meghan Markle did once compare herself to Nelson Mandela.

The Duchess of Despair and hapless Prince Harry will be among this year’s recipients of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award, recognizing their work ‘to protect and advance equity, justice, and human rights.’

The award – named for RFK’s iconic ‘Ripple of Hope’ speech delivered in Cape Town, South Africa at the height of apartheid – recognizes ‘moral courage’. The bravery to speak truth to power.

Latin America: ‘China’s Backyard’

China is deepening its involvement in Latin America and the Caribbean, as Chinese Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ma Zhaoxu made clear last year at a summit between China and Latin American and Caribbean states.

The summit resulted in a joint action plan that will not only tighten economic cooperation between China and Latin America and the Caribbean in various fields such as agriculture, food, science, technology, industry, infrastructure, aviation, energy and tourism, but also deepen China’s influence in the region through cooperation in education, research and sports. The action plan directly mentions, for instance, that Latin American and Caribbean members of the forum “support China in hosting the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games” that took place in March.

Firm says claim executive carried Nazi flag at Freedom Convoy is ‘absurd,’ threatens lawsuit

OTTAWA – Public affairs firm Enterprise Canada says it is considering suing the Freedom Convoy organizers’ lawyer at the Emergencies Act inquiry for making what it called an “absurd and despicable” allegation that one of its senior executives carried a Nazi flag during a Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa.

But Freedom Corp. lawyer Brendan Miller says he is protected by privilege from being sued and he wants two Enterprise Canada executives to testify at the Public Order Emergency Commission about the sighting of Nazi and a Confederate flags during the first weekend of Ottawa protests last winter.

The Black Hebrew Israelites are a real problem for the left

“I think the first time I really wrote about the Black Hebrew Israelites was in 2019 when the Covington Catholic fiasco turned out to have been largely instigated by a group of BHI preachers who were originally there to start a fight with a group of Native Americans but wound up starting one with the Catholic high school kids because they were there.”

Apparently our magic white skin makes some Blacks anti-Semitic!

Carson Jerema: Canada, where traffic violations bring the country to the brink of collapse

Even the lower standards of Justin Trudeau and his advisers for invoking the Emergencies Act were not met

CSIS Director David Vigneault is the latest senior bureaucrat who seems to believe that it does not matter what the Emergencies Act actually says. What’s written in legislation can be safely ignored if doing so helps the government of the day expand its powers. The act of proposing, amending and passing laws through Parliament is just so tedious.

With a Public Service as partisan as Canada’s all outcomes are predetermined.

Canada’s Shopify is resisting calls to cut ties with child protection advocate Libs of TikTok

Ottawa-based company Shopify is resisting calls to cut ties with the controversial site accused of being anti-LGBTQ2 and known as “Libs of TikTok,” which sells merchandise on the e-commerce platform plastered with allegations of “grooming” of children.

The products use the words “Stop grooming our kids,” an allegation that the Anti-Defamation League says has increasingly been deployed over the past year by some on the far right without evidence against members of the LGBTQ2 community; in particular, those who do drag.

The ADL beclowns itself.

Lawyer for ‘Freedom Convoy’ organizers kicked out of Emergencies Act inquiry

OTTAWA — A lawyer for some organizers of the so-called “Freedom Convoy” protests was ejected from the Emergencies Act inquiry on Tuesday after repeatedly interrupting the judge who is chairing the process.

Commissioner Paul Rouleau raised his voice and called on security to remove Brendan Miller, a lawyer for a charity created by protest leaders including Tamara Lich.

Miller was expressing frustration about how documents provided by the government had redactions, and demanding that a staff member in the office of Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino be called to testify.

AP reporter sacked for Polish missile strike claims that sparked ‘WW3’ frenzy … Zelensky still employed

Inaccurate news report claimed Russian missiles had strayed into a Nato member state

The Associated Press put the world on high alert last week when it reported claims by a “senior US intelligence official” that Russian missiles had killed two people in Poland.

The inaccurate news alert, which was circulated last Tuesday, prompted widespread fears of an escalation of Russia’s war beyond Ukraine’s borders as it claimed Russian missiles had strayed into a Nato member state.

Will they cancel Zelensky too? I don’t see that he has recanted his assertion that the missile was fired by the Russians.

NATO trained them. Now these Afghan soldiers are joining the Russian army to help attack Ukraine

A former Afghan platoon commander says he was doing manual labour on the Iranian island of Kish when he received a phone call. He says he listened carefully as a former comrade made a proposal: Join a new army and fight for a new cause.

That army was Russia’s, and the cause was the war against Ukraine.

The offer was for six months of training in Russia, $1,500 to $3,000 (U.S.) a month (three to six times what he’s been making in Iran) and Russian citizenship for him and his immediate family members.

Wuhan Flu is rising again in China

China has seen its first deaths from Covid-19 in six months, and thousands more people are catching the disease, despite the government’s strict lockdown policy.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said China should rethink its strategy.

On Sunday 20 November alone, there were 26,824 new cases recorded in China. That is close to the peak back in April 2022.

Good.
