Seven in 10 Canadians polled say access to health care has worsened since the pandemic started

“The survey shows that average Canadians believe that there is a massive problem with our health care system,” said Mr. Nanos, who is also the company’s chief data scientist. “Canadians give our health care system a failing mark – a 3.8 out of 10. A score like that means you should be going back to the drawing board and rethinking everything.”

The survey included a question that asked respondents to rank the state of Canada’s health care on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being an absolute crisis and 10 is working very well. The results found 45 per cent provided a score of between 0 and 3, while 41 per cent ranked the system between 4 and 6. Only 14 per cent gave marks of 7 and above. The average score was 3.8.

With Trouble Brewing in China, It May Be Time to Consider Some Next-Level Prepping

Reports are coming out of China that indicate it may be on the brink of becoming more unstable. This week, The Wall Street Journal reported that Country Garden, one of China’s largest real-estate developers, saw a 96% decline in profit for the first half of the year. The property market in the Communist country has entered a severe depression, as other real estate firms also meltdown in real-time.

Why Nigeria’s ban on foreign models won’t work

Some in the British and American media have interpreted Nigeria’s prohibition on the use of foreign models as a ban on white people and foreign accents, and an attempt to free ourselves from a colonial mentality.

But this ignores the fact that there are many Nigerians at home and abroad with British and American accents – authentic or fake – as well as some Nigerians who are blonde-haired and blue-eyed.

My good friend, Jackie Farris, was born to white American parents in Florida in the US, but has made Nigeria her permanent residence for more than 25 years, and has a green Nigerian passport to show for it.

Great! Can we ban Africans now? How about Asians?

Here are the Russian oil executives who have died in the past nine months

The death of a top Russian oil executive this week is the latest in a string of oil executives in the country who have reportedly died from suicide or in accidents this year.

Russian media outlets reported that Ravil Maganov, the chairman of the board of Lukoil, Russia’s largest private oil company, died on Thursday after falling out of a window at a hospital where he was being treated. TASS, the state-run news agency, reported that an unnamed law enforcement source said Maganov died by suicide.

Statistics indicate COVID jab is the ‘elephant in the room’ when it comes to excess mortality rates

Emerging statistics on excess mortality rates paint an alarming picture. Far more people died in 2021, after the rollout of the COVID shots, and in 2022, than during the height of the COVID pandemic in 2020. I will review some of those shocking statistics — which are mirrored around the world — in a moment.

But while rational people look at these figures and ask themselves what the most apparent and likely cause behind this sudden rise in deaths of working-age adults and younger people might be, mainstream media are trying to divert your attention from the elephant in the room — mass injection with experimental gene transfer technology — to anything and everything but that.

From China to Mexico to NYC: How fentanyl became ‘a weapon of mass destruction’ in the US

Lethal Fentanyl Dose

In the dark hours before dawn, there’s no busier place than the Hunts Point produce market in The Bronx, where throngs of chefs, grocers and deli owners jockey each morning to snag the plumpest peaches and leafiest lettuce.

But the bazaar, which handles as many as 30 million pounds of goods per day and is the largest produce outlet in the nation, also provides perfect cover for the importing of fentanyl, America’s deadliest drug, which smugglers sneak into New York amid boxes of fruits and vegetables, according law-enforcement officials.

Russia’s Unfounded Claims of Secret U.S. Bioweapons Linger On and On

The United States secretly manufactured biological weapons in Ukraine. It trained birds to carry pathogens into Russia. It created Covid-19. It operated laboratories in Nigeria that engineered this year’s outbreak of monkeypox.

Of the many falsehoods that the Kremlin has spread since the war in Ukraine began more than six months ago, some of the most outlandish and yet enduring have been those accusing the United States of operating clandestine biological research programs to wreak havoc around the globe.

Leonard Leo: the secretive rightwinger using billions to reshape America

As the US supreme court justice Clarence Thomas prepared to take questions from members of the rightwing legal advocacy group the Federalist Society, a few years back, he turned to the moderator.

Thomas joked that the nondescript man in the blue suit and white shirt was the “No 3 most powerful person in the world”, and then fell about laughing. The target of the judge’s mirth, Leonard Leo, grinned and remarked: “God help us.”

The tyranny of Pride

It’s time for a fightback against rainbow authoritarianism.

Imagine there was a political movement so powerful and so intolerant that you might be visited by the cops for making fun of it. A movement so dominant that desecrating its symbols came to be treated as a kind of blasphemy. A movement so fawned over by the elites that any town or village that refused to bow down to it – to wave its flag and shout its slogans – risked being written off as unsafe, and essentially as unclean. A movement so embedded in the ruling class that every wing of the establishment, from the political set to the military to the financial elite, was duty bound to display its insignia.

The Paradox Of Fermi’s Paradox

Is it possible some UAP are extraterrestrial craft? Is it reasonable to think there is intelligent alien life visiting earth?

Scientists still debate whether the universe is infinite, but at a minimum, our visible universe contains trillions of galaxies, each with hundreds of billions of planets and moons. As best we can tell, the same laws of physics apply everywhere, and the heavy organic molecules that form the basic building blocks of life are abundant. In short, from the nearest solar systems to the most distant edges of space and time, we are surrounded by endless opportunities for life. Amidst these endless opportunities, intelligent extraterrestrial life is a near mathematical certainty. But what about the prospects for intelligent life to evolve in Earth’s galactic neighborhood? Although estimates vary considerably, many indicate we are probably not alone in the Milky Way.

Long read but worth your time I believe. The author is Christopher Mellon.

I can’t say that UFO’s exist but a growing body of evidence indicates that it may be so. Personally I am leaning toward toward a belief in their existence.

Millennials Experienced ‘84 Percent Rise of Excess Mortality’ Into Fall 2021

Edward Dowd, a former portfolio manager for BlackRock and the author of the upcoming book “’Cause Unknown’: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 & 2022,” has been analyzing data related to all-cause mortality since March 2021.

Dowd is familiar with predicting trends and observing patterns, and became interested in studying CDC data after he heard many anecdotal accounts of vaccine injury. He found a monumental spike in sudden deaths occurring in the fall of 2021 to early 2022 in the working age cohort, which corresponded to the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates for federal and corporate employees.

The super-rich ‘preppers’ planning to save themselves from the apocalypse

Tech billionaires are buying up luxurious bunkers and hiring military security to survive a societal collapse they helped create, but like everything they do, it has unintended consequences

As a humanist who writes about the impact of digital technology on our lives, I am often mistaken for a futurist. The people most interested in hiring me for my opinions about technology are usually less concerned with building tools that help people live better lives in the present than they are in identifying the Next Big Thing through which to dominate them in the future. I don’t usually respond to their inquiries. Why help these guys ruin what’s left of the internet, much less civilisation?

Trudeau is leading Canada towards a diplomatic breakup with India

First the US and the UK, and now India. Relatively smooth relations between India and Canada are about to rock due to an ongoing controversy.

In the last few decades, Canada has become the destination of choice for Khalistani terrorists and their sympathizers. Successive governments in Canada, either out of unawareness or perhaps deferring to the influential Sikh vote bank chose to turn a blind eye to Khalistani extremism. And see, where it led Canada now.
