America is ‘OUT of the pandemic phase’: Fauci confirms

The Biden administration’s top medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci has declared the United States is now ‘out of the pandemic phase’ of Covid-19, as cases and hospitalizations associated with the disease remain low.

Fauci, who has been one of the most vocal proponents of draconian Covid measures such as mask and vaccine mandates throughout the pandemic, made the statement during a PBS broadcast yesterday.

‘We are certainly right now in this country out of the pandemic phase,’ he announced on air.

Anti-hate group calls for regulator to police social media platforms

The federal government should appoint a regulator with the power to force social media companies to disclose information to help fight far-right extremism, an anti-hate group told MPs Tuesday.

Evan Balgord, executive director of the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, said an ombudsperson could put more pressure on tech companies to do more to reduce online harms.

Journalists’ Social Media Monitored By RCMP During Freedom Convoy

Damage control over negative publicity of the RCMP during the crackdown on the Freedom Convoy sent the police force’s media relations department scrambling, with teams monitoring and screenshotting the social media accounts of journalists, according to documents obtained by Rebel News.

Trudeau’s Oppression Of Vaccine-Free Canadians Demonstrates Weakness, Not Strength

Trudeau and his cronies can appeal to idealism and progressivism all they want, but even left-wingers get ticked off and want change when they are struggling to fill the tank.

Leslyn Lewis Goes After CTV News Host For Lying About Freedom Convoy

Dr. Lewis explained that the protest outside of Parliament was fully peaceful and that she was proud to be the first of the leadership candidates to support the truckers’ push to end the mandates. She also added that she was always against the border blockades that were not a part of the official Freedom Convoy 2022 protest.

Minnesota Likely To Teach Students False Claim That Police Started As Slave Patrols

It’s a weird, historically-inaccurate new curriculum drafted under progressive Governor Tim Walz. Walz’s administration replaced subject-matter experts on history with left-wing activists on the committee charged with updating Minnesota’s social-studies curriculum. The new curriculum could go into effect by 2024.

Biden to Spend an Ungodly Amount of Money Building a Green Military

President Biden on Friday said his administration is working to make “every vehicle” in the United States military “climate-friendly.”

The president, delivering Earth Day remarks from Seward Park in Seattle, Washington, discussed his administration’s efforts to address climate change, and called on Congress to take action.

“One of the things I found out as President of the United States, I get to spend a lot of that money,” Biden said. “We’re going to start the process where every vehicle in the United States military, every vehicle, is going to be climate-friendly — every vehicle — I mean it.”

Teachers Union Boss Attacks Florida Parental Rights Bill Saying It’s “The Way In Which War Starts”

Is this the leader of the second largest teachers union in the United States waging war against American parents? Because that’s exactly what it seems like.

Twitter, Facebook, Netflix, and the Myth of Permanent Platform Power

Today’s big powerful companies could become tomorrow’s also-rans, no government intervention required.

Twitter is changing ownership, following a purchase by Elon Musk, who has explicitly  said he intends to reorient the company’s approach to online speech. Netflix, whose business model has long been predicated on sky’s-the-limit growth, is bleeding subscribers. CNN+, a massively expensive project from what was once a dominant force in TV news, is shutting down a month after its launch. Facebook is losing regular users and taking a huge financial hit because of changes in the mobile ad space. Google is no longer the world’s most popular website.

Critical Race Theory Is Derived From a Laughably Dumb Series of Space Alien Stories

Appallingly bad critical race theory science fiction showcases the ideology’s toxicity.

One of the more interesting periodicals of the hard-left, Jacobin, used to have a book review column for old and new conservative titles called “Books we read, so you don’t have to.” It included mostly mass-market polemics the outlet’s average reader would find especially triggering. If such a column existed for an audience of the opposite orientation, one title that would have to make an appearance is Faces at the Bottom of the Well: The Permanence of Racism by the late Harvard law professor, Justice Department attorney, and critical race theory pioneer Derrick Bell.

The book, published in 1992, is considered a founding text for the CRT movement. This is odd, as it’s not a jargon-heavy, law-based tome, but a collection of short stories, most of them science fiction-based. If you’re curious how sci-fi might translate CRT’s heavily abstract and legalistic ideas, the short answer is that it doesn’t. The stories are breathtakingly bad.

A former Google CEO revealed how excited he is for you to be ruled by robots

In a rare moment of honesty, a high-profile Democrat revealed the left’s vision for governing in the future, and it is just as disturbing as you can imagine.

Eric Schmidt is your prototypical coastal elite whose God complex may rival Barack Obama’s.  The former Google CEO and Hillary Clinton crony shared the horrifying details of America’s future when discussing his new book about artificial intelligence.  Schmidt explains how a computer program called AlphaZero dominated the previous robotic chess champion, Stockfish.  What impresses Schmidt is that the AlphaZero program came up with unorthodox ways to win these chess matches, such as sacrificing its queen to achieve victory.

Sheriff reveals Alec Baldwin MAY still face charges for Rust shooting

Alec Baldwin may still face charges for accidentally killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October, sheriffs revealed on Tuesday morning after releasing a trove of documents and videos from their investigation into the on-set accident.

Baldwin, 64, was rehearsing a scene for the movie Rust on October 21, 2021, when he pulled his gun from his costume. It fired and shot Hutchins, 42, in the armpit, fatally wounding her.

The gun fired a live round which had been loaded into what Baldwin thought was an empty gun.

No, the liberals will not leave Twitter

The hyper-partisans of the cultural hegemony won’t leave Twitter. They need to access its casual users for their strategy to be successful.

With the recent acquisition of the world’s largest social media platform by billionaire Elon Musk, the battle cry of “I’m leaving Twitter” has rapidly spread among the bluecheck caste. The chances of this actually manifesting in any notable number of people jumping ship are next to zero. They aren’t going to move to another site, and they especially will not be moving to the much-touted Mastodon, the domain of basement-bound tech nerds so complex as to be rendered effectively useless to anyone without an MA in Programming.

Indeed, the impossibility of migrating from the Big Tech titans has already played out in the likes of Gab, Parler and Gettr. Social media falls strictly under the economic concept of a natural monopoly, its utility and functionality entirely derived from everyone sharing the same platform to maximise reach and facilitate wider interaction. In the same way there are not many competing railways built along the same routes, there will not be many competing Twitters.

Biden Unilaterally Surrenders to Russia and China in Satellite Wars

Kamala Harris arrived at Vandenberg Space Force Base where Discoverer-1, the first satellite to enter a polar orbit and America’s bold response to Russia’s Sputnik, was launched to announce that we would be unilaterally surrendering to Russia and China in the growing satellite wars.

Last November, Russia had conducted a DA-ASAT or direct-ascent anti-satellite test which demonstrated its ability to take out satellites. The Russians had used their A-235 anti-ballistic missile system to destroy their own Kosmos 1408 satellite. The message was clear: Moscow had the ability to clear out enemy satellites in the event of any conflict. Including ours.

Ilhan Omar Finds a New Way to Attack Freedom of Speech

War in Ukraine, an essentially nonexistent Southern border, out-of-control inflation, rising crime, deep societal divisions, and what does the de facto leader of the Democrat Party, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Islamabad), who can always be counted on to have her finger on the pulse of the American people, decide to tackle? Why, “Islamophobia,” of course. Come on, man! Is there something more important that she could be focusing on? “Islamophobia” is, after all, a free speech issue. The only problem is that Omar is on the wrong side.
