Anger over BLM’s purchase of $8.1 million Toronto mansion grows as group’s finances scrutinized

The U.S. charity that serves as the face of the BLM movement provided the bulk of the funding for the purchase of the 10,000-square-foot property in July. The purchase flew largely under the radar at the time, but anger has now reached a boiling point amid other revelations about BLM’s management and its finances.

The Legacy Media Desperately Wants The Trucker Convoy To Be Canada’s January 6th

As celebrities such as Elon Musk, Russel Brand and Joe Rogan endorse the convoy, the legacy media is going into overdrive to discredit, demonize and tarnish the protestors. One outlet even went as far as to warn those that financially support the convoy as potentially financing “domestic terrorism.”

Freedom Convoy Organizer Drops QR Code Privacy Bombshell During Tucker Carlson Interview

During an interview on Tucker Carlson Tonight Freedom Convoy 2022 organizer and spokesperson Benjamin Dichter did a great job of focusing on the fundamental issues the convoy is meant to bring attention to.

Not only did Dichter highlight the issue of vaccine mandates undermining the constitutional freedoms of Canadians all over the country, but also why vaccinated Canadians, like himself, should be extremely worried about breaches in their privacy from the Arrivecan app.

The Arrivecan is a Canadian government phone application that Canadian travelers going through airports and over the border, including truckers, are required to verify their vaccine status with in order to pass.

Leaked: Internal Document Shows Feds Anticipating Jan. 6 Moment As If It’s A Foregone Conclusion

An internal document acquired by The Counter Signal reveals emergency protest procedures to be taken as the convoy arrives in Ottawa, including what to do if anti-mandate protesters were to storm parliament and occupy the government.

Orwellian: Anti-Defamation League “Updates” Definition Of Racism So That It Exclusively Applies To White People

According to the ADL, if it doesn’t benefit white people, it’s not racism. Only white people can be racist.

DARPA Enters Phase 2 of Project Targeting ‘Quantum Advantage’

Rigetti Computing and the Universities Space Research Association or USRA on Thursday confirmed they’re kicking off the second phase of a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency-led effort to develop next-level, quantum computers.

Building on the first phase of the Optimization with Noisy Intermediate Scale Quantum devices program, which launched in 2020, the entities are now pushing DARPA’s ONISQ further—with ultimate aims to demonstrate quantum advantage on intermediate scale quantum computers with hundreds of qubits.

Massive Subsidies Won’t Solve the Semiconductor Supply Chain Crisis

On the same day that the White House kick-started an effort to get Congress to approve billions in new subsidies for American chipmakers, and the Commerce Department published a long-awaited report on the status of semiconductor supply chains, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo put an exclamation point on the whole thing.

“It’s a crisis,” Raimondo told Yahoo Finance. “What we need is to make more chips in America.”

The Biden–Zelensky Phone Call Should Alarm Us

Maybe American presidents should avoid phone calls with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky because it seems nothing good ever comes from them.

Nothing about the accounts of the Thursday call between President Biden and Zelensky is reassuring, considering the brewing crisis of a potential Russian invasion.

If the leaks from unnamed sources are true — and who knows how accurate those characterizations are — the Russian military buildup is about to face a Ukrainian president who is in denial about the risk and an American president who doesn’t want to send more weapons to Ukraine, after equipping the Ukrainians to fight a ground war without any air cover.

200 People Have Pleaded Guilty In The Jan. 6 Insurrection. Here Are All The Cases.

WASHINGTON — Dennis Sidorski walked into the US Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection at 2:14 p.m., about one minute after the door he used had been kicked in and the windows around it smashed. Wearing a sweatshirt that said “AMERICAN SUPREMACIST,” the Virginia man spent the next 37 minutes making his way around the building, recording confrontations between rioters and police and exploring offices, including the suite of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The Democrat Party’s Application of Mass Formation Psychosis

These past few months, we have witnessed a confluence of events in which the grandest hopes and desires of the radical left and Oval Office’s installed occupant have been stymied or faced outright defeat. Their desperation should be clear for all to see, summed up in their desire is to govern against the will of the People, campaign against the People’s majority concerns, and inflict psychological (and, in some cases, physical) abuse against all who dissent from their governance and incompetence. To win anyway, leftists are creating a false sense of panic across America.

‘Transwoman’ Child Molester Is Going To Girls’ Juvy

From Los Angeles, news from the Chosen People (I speak, of course, of the Transgendered):

Los Angeles County judge on Thursday ordered Hannah Tubbs, a transgender California woman, to serve two years in a juvenile facility after she pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in 2014.

Before doing so, the judge criticized far-left District Attorney George Gascon, whose office declined to prosecute the repeat offender as an adult.

Facebook, Reddit Ban Pro-Cop Comic That Broke No Platform Rules

Comics legend Mike Baron and his pro-cop comic book “Thin Blue Line” are unwelcome on Facebook or Reddit, despite not breaking any of the rules stated on either platform. Facebook has so far blocked all attempts by Baron and his team to use Facebook ads. The largest comic book social media page, the “r/comics” subreddit, which has more than 1.7 million subscribers, has now blocked all posts about Baron’s comic, and, it seems, this author.

Portland offered to rehire dozens of recently retired police officers, only 2 expressed interest

Watching the city of Portland gradually come to terms with reality has been a long, painful process. After jumping onboard the “defund the police” bandwagon and watching dozens of officers retire or resign, shootings and murders skyrocketed in the city. Suddenly, the mayor reversed course and started talking about refunding the police and putting back together the Gun Violence Reduction Team he had disbanded, albeit under a different name.

The disarray of the West

The Russia-Ukraine crisis has exposed the fraying of the Western alliance.

Representatives of the ‘West’, from the US and NATO to the European powers, all dialled in to Monday’s confab to discuss the Ukraine crisis. US president Joe Biden emerged afterwards determined to put on a united front. ‘I had a very, very, very good meeting’, he said, adding, ‘total unanimity with all the European leaders’.

This is at best wishful thinking. If anything, the Russia-Ukraine confrontation has exposed precisely the absence of unanimity among members of the Western alliance. Each nation and each institution has signally pursued its own divergent objectives, often negotiating and talking to Moscow independently, and, in the process, crossing wires, muddying waters and taking us further away from any realistic solution.

Last living signer of Canadian constitutional charter of rights sues government over COVID travel ban

The last living drafter and signatory of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which is the highest law of the land, is suing the Canadian federal government over its travel ban for the unvaccinated.

Former Newfoundland Premier Brian Peckford, 79, is the main applicant in a case brought against the federal government by the Calgary-based Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, according to a press release.

“It is becoming more obvious that being vaccinated does not stop people from getting Covid and does not stop them from spreading it,” the former premier said in a statement. “The government has not shown that the policy makes flying safer—it simply discriminates.”

Kelly McParland: The West’s clean energy push empowered Russia and China

The gospel on climate change has been that, first and foremost, fossil fuels must go.

Coal, oil, gas (liquefied or otherwise)… out, out out. Close the oilsands, cancel the pipelines, end the fracking, get rid of the nuclear plants while you’re at it. The imperative is all about ridding the world of supply, getting us off our existing addictions, whether or not there was an alternative available to take its place. It was taken for granted … or on blind faith … that the alternatives would be there. Technology would advance, innovation would flourish. Just get rid of the bad stuff and we’ll worry about supplying the good stuff later. It’ll work, I promise you. We can do this! No more coal! No more coal!
