Enemies of the School Board

Parents in some school districts find their input suppressed—and their dissent criminalized.

School boards have always attracted their share of controversies: disagreements over curriculum, bitter election fights, and personality clashes. But in recent months, as parents express their frustration over Covid lockdowns, mask mandates, and critical race theory, local school districts and federal law enforcement have upped the ante by monitoring parents, requesting undercover agents at school board meetings, and even arresting parents who attend board meetings to express dissent.

Igor Danchenko’s Wet Dream

An obscure Russian set the bait and every kinky Democrat and Trump hater swallowed it, hook, line, and sinker.

On January 6, 2017, FBI Director James Comey met privately with President-elect Donald Trump at Trump Tower to purportedly give a “defensive briefing” regarding salacious allegations in the Steele Dossier about Trump and urinating prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room.

Canada’s Anti-Hate Network Attacks ‘Act! For Canada’ in Desperate Hunt for Hate

Inside the Left’s twisted world of innuendo and unfounded allegations.

The Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) is Canada’s ironically named version of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPCL), an intolerant organization that can’t stop patting itself on the back for opposing intolerance. Though lacking the formidable political heft, war chest, and extensive reach of its more-robust American cousin, the CAHN exists to rain calumny down upon groups or individuals who do not share its progressivist viewpoints. Never content merely to disagree or rebut, the network pursues its ends almost exclusively through Hall of Shame-style attacks on those it deems “far right” enemies.

Some people have way too much time on their hands.

British school cancels JK Rowling and Churchill

A British primary school has removed the names of wartime leader Winston Churchill and ‘Harry Potter’ author JK Rowling from two of its houses, in a bid to make the school more “diverse.” Parents are furious.

Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School in Richmond decided in October to rename two of its pupil houses – named after Winston Churchil and J.K. Rowling – in honor of black footballer Marcus Rashford and nurse Mary Seacole, a heroine of the Crimean War who was also black.

Green shoots of common sense at the New York Times

Is the Gray Lady aiming to produce more balanced content?

To understand the mindset of liberals in America, it is always worth reading The New York Times. As traditional liberalism gave way to its more identity-centred successor, there followed a discernible shift in the language, editorial direction and content of the paper.

But the NYT’s drift towards ‘wokeness’ seems to be slowing down in recent months. In fact, green shoots of common sense are starting to emerge, such as the hiring of John McWhorter, a heterodox thinker who in his newsletter has criticised various liberal shibboleths like critical race theory, identity politics and systemic racism.

I have been surprised on a couple of occasions of late. But I do not believe it will last.

Trans politics has driven the left insane

Labour MPs and lefty journalists are now denying basic biological facts.

The BBC’s Politics Live isn’t billed as a comedy show. Yet Wednesday’s edition left many viewers white-knuckled, gripping the arms of their sofas with laughter.

The moment of hilarity arrived when Ellie Mae O’Hagan, director of the think-tank CLASS, was asked by presenter Jo Coburn about the definition of ‘woman’. In response she said: ‘You know, I actually don’t know why some people are women and some people are men.’

This man ran the Pentagon’s secretive UFO programme for a decade. We had some questions

Early last year, the US government officially acknowledged videos of “unidentified aerial phenomena” filmed by its Navy pilots. Was it evidence of extraterrestrials? Here, Luis Elizondo, the former Pentagon intelligence officer in charge of investigating these incidents, reveals (almost) all he knows…

You came to this not particularly caring about UFOs, but I have read there was a moment where you said to yourself, “Holy f***. This is real.” What was that moment?

It’s funny because the people in the office kind of giggled and they were like, “Oh, he just had his epiphany,” because everybody has one eventually in that office.

But what convinced you it was a real thing?

It was the overwhelming weight of evidence and data. I was talking to pilots routinely. There’s videos out there [in government, that the public haven’t seen] – there’s one that’s 23 minutes long. There’s another one where this thing is 50 feet away from the cockpit. I mean, it ain’t ours. We know that. Sometimes you just couldn’t believe it – you’d have seven or eight incidents in a single day. I’d get these emails from an admiral or a ship’s captain saying, “Lue, what do you want me to do? I can’t keep people below deck forever. These things are swarming my ship, they’re all over the place.” That’s tough. I kept promising the cavalry was coming and I’d have answers for them and the cavalry never came. Senior leadership didn’t want to deal with it.

Kyle Rittenhouse Trial Is A Case Study In The Media’s Lies About Racism

In today’s episode of “How The National Media Deceive You…”

A friend last weekend texted me, “Had no idea Kyle shot 3 white guys. Not that it matters. But it’s been painted as a hate crime.”

My friend — a Democrat and a law student at Berkeley — was referring to the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. Now, where, oh where, might my friend have gotten the impression that Rittenhouse had shot men who were anything but white as snow?

Can the FBI Be Salvaged?

The Washington, D.C.-based Federal Bureau of Investigation has lost all credibility as a disinterested investigatory agency. Now we learn from a whistleblower that the agency was allegedly investigating moms and dads worried about the teaching of critical race theory in their kids’ schools.

In truth, since 2015, the FBI has been constantly in the news — and mostly in a negative and constitutionally disturbing light.

‘I don’t know’: Biden noncommittal on including Canadian vehicles in EV tax credit

WASHINGTON — U.S. President Joe Biden isn’t making any promises about whether he’s willing to alter his controversial tax credit proposal for new electric vehicles.

Biden, meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the Oval Office, says that’s one of the issues the two leaders will talk about.

“I don’t know,” the president said, Trudeau seated to his right, when asked whether he might consider amending the proposal to avoid harming the Canadian auto industry.
