Dozens Arrested as Antifa Clash With Police Outside Los Angeles Spa Amid Protests

Protesters and counter-protesters clashed at a Korean spa in Los Angeles after a customer complained in a viral video of a biological male allegedly disrobed in a women’s area.

Demonstrators wearing all-black Antifa-like garb were seen clashing with Los Angeles Police Department officers near the Wi Spa in Los Angeles’ Koreatown on Saturday, according to video footage posted online by an independent journalist.

Electric Planes: Green That Doesn’t Fly

It seems like a really bad idea, yet it’s one United Airlines reportedly just bought into — probably for many millions of dollars (the actual sum hasn’t been disclosed). It will “invest” in the development — italics to emphasize the nonexistence at present — of the ES-19, an electric aircraft that exists on the drawing board only. This hypothetical aircraft is being developed by a Swedish company with the cloying name Heart Aerospace — which summons images of kumbaya-ing around the campfire in a collective hug.

A car battery I can barely lift only starts the car, doesn’t provide continuous power. But we’re going to fly electric?

The Left’s Manipulation of Religion

Only a politicized faith is permitted in public life.

The policy of modern liberals is to keep religion out of politics while inserting politics into religion. On this view, the religious can only enter politics if they shed their religion and serve as mouthpieces for the politics of the Left. This explains the paradox of a secularist political movement that champions the “Reverend” Al Sharpton and the “Nuns on the Bus.”

Accuracy at any cost? Gamer leaks British military secrets to company founded in Russia to prove its tank model is wrong

A gamer believed to be a Challenger 2 commander has apparently decided that preserving British state secrets is less important than proving to a game company that its digital model of his country’s main battle tank is inaccurate.

A funny and potentially criminal episode unfolded this week on the forums of ‘War Thunder’, a popular competitive video game in which players take control of various real-life military vehicles. Projects like this one attract the attention of accuracy nerds, who push designers to get every little detail right.

America is Back: What Did it Do?

“… A Washington Post opinion columnist claimed that “Biden wiped the smirk off Putin’s face.” In reality, however, Putin left the meeting with a much broader naughty-boy smile. Biden… cancelled Trump’s veto on the controversial Russian gas trunk-pipeline to Germany. He did something even more amazing; he presented a list of 16 critical infrastructure “entities” in the US which he wanted Putin not to target in cyber-attacks, or face unspecified “consequences”. Does this mean that, as long as he spares those highly sensitive targets, Putin would have a free hand in doing cyber mischief across the US?”

Philadelphia’s Electric Bus Fleet in Complete Shambles

More than two dozen electric Proterra buses first unveiled by the city of Philadelphia in 2016 are already out of operation, according to a WHYY investigation.

The entire fleet of Proterra buses was removed from the roads by SEPTA, the city’s transit authority, in February 2020 due to both structural and logistical problems—the weight of the powerful battery was cracking the vehicles’ chassis, and the battery life was insufficient for the city’s bus routes. The city raised the issues with Proterra, which failed to adequately address the city’s concerns.

Kamala Harris Taken To Walter Reed Medical Center

Days after meeting with the Democrat lawmakers from Texas, and one day after three of them tested positive for COVID-19, Kamala Harris has gone to Walter Reed Hospital.

The White House says that the visit is for a “routine doctor’s appointment,” though the timing is curious particularly because it is a “routine” checkup on a Sunday.

Growth of cannabis retailers in Ontario could lead to a wave of closures, experts warn

Sasha Soeterik, the owner of independent cannabis retail shop Flower Pot in downtown Toronto, was renovating her premises in preparation to open in the spring of 2020 when she noticed a competitor doing the same just two doors away.

The rival shop was part of a national chain of cannabis stores – Superette – that already had two locations in downtown Toronto, and had secured licences from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to open another five stores within a radius of less than 10 kilometres.

It is ludicrous, new pot outlets are sprouting like weeds.

Nunes: John Durham report is coming, some people will go to prison

Ranking member of the powerful House Intelligence Committee Rep. Devin Nunes told me on The Sara Carter Show podcast that he still expects Justice Department Special Counsel John Durham to release a damaging report on the FBI’s debunked investigation into former President Donald Trump and Russia. He also expects it will lead to prison sentences for some former senior Obama officials.

First they came for the Statues… Protesters demand wealthy MP pays up for family’s slave trade past

Protesters demanded yesterday that a Conservative MP should hand over his 621-acre sugar plantation to the people of Barbados as compensation for his family’s 200 years of slave owning and trading on the island. Richard Drax, the MP for Dorset South, has said the role of his ancestors was “deeply, deeply regrettable” but resists demands for reparations.

As part of this year’s Tolpuddle Festival, a rally organised by Stand Up to Racism, Dorset, at the gates of the Drax family estate highlighted the family’s historic role in slavery. The festival celebrates the Tolpuddle Martyrs, poorly paid farm workers, who were transported in 1834 for organising trade union activities.

Kinda ironic that the Tolpuddle Martyrs were white guys deported to Oz.
