Eugene Chung, who is of Korean descent, told the Boston Globe over the weekend he was interviewing for a job as an assistant coach when an unnamed staff member for the unidentified team told him, “Well, you’re really not a minority.”

Former President Donald Trump will appear on Newsmax’s “Cortes & Pellegrino” at 9 p.m. on Tuesday for a face-to-face interview.
The President will do a sit-down with co-host Steve Cortes, a former top advisor to Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign.
Trump’s conversation with Cortes will take place in New York’s Trump Tower and cover major topics like China’s role in the COVID virus, President Biden’s spending plans, the January 6 Commission, rising anti-Semitism, the crisis at the southern border, and more.

The Biden administration seems to be upset that the successful 287(g) program in Bristol County, Mass., has resulted in the identification of illegal aliens arrested for child rape, assault, strangulation, arson, attempted murder, armed carjacking, breaking and entering, and identity theft, and they plan to put an end to this public safety program immediately, no matter the cost to public safety. This is consistent with the administration’s enforcement priorities and would ensure that countless criminal aliens are released into our communities. [Emphasis added]

The person familiar with the matter was not authorized to speak publicly and did so on condition of anonymity. The news was first reported by The Washington Post.

Toronto is waking up with a long weekend hangover, with reports of parks trashed and residents, especially those with kids and dogs, kept up for four straight nights by backyard fireworks displays.
Toronto police estimate thousands gathered at Woodbine and Cherry beaches on Sunday night, shooting off fireworks for Victoria Day.
Const. Ed Parks said police received several calls about the gatherings and some people were issued tickets, but it is unclear how many.
Posts on social media show people gathered on the beach watching fireworks as well as garbage strewn across the beaches Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Rather than act as a politically neutral law enforcement agency tasked with protecting government grounds and public officials on behalf of the federal taxpayers they serve, the USCP has contributed to the fabulism about January 6 while covering up other aspects to help Democrats and Joe Biden’s Justice Department keep the “insurrection” narrative alive. There’s no question many Capitol Police officers acted heroically in the face of several protesters bent on violence that day, however, USCP brass have helped Democrats define the January 6 groupthink from the start.
The Capitol police allowed people to overrun the Capitol on January 6th. They let people into the Capitol, the doors were wide open, no one had weapons, and yet, the Left, the media, and some Republicans portray the January riot as an insurrection, the worst ever, like 9/11.

Their insulation from the impact of their policies – along with the many public officials who are insulated – creates a ‘two-tier’ country.

While nothing has been finalised, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced in March the government plans to shell out $1billion to start producing hi-tech guided missiles in Australia.
‘These things aren’t instantaneous but our militaries and strategic thinkers are engaged in discussions about how best to confront these new challenges together,’ Mr Goldman said.
‘A lot of that just makes perfect intuitive sense, particularly when we talk about how we are going to project force in any sort of contingency.

Highly respected pollster John McLaughlin says 73% of all Republicans want Trump to run again in 2024 and Republican primary voters would support him 82%-13%. Even the Washington Post has just reported “All Republican Roads Lead to Mar-a-Lago.” What WaPo and other members of the Fake News Media don’t report is that Joe Biden is of no interest to anybody—21 million less people watched his Joint Address to Congress than watched mine.

What would Canada do if another 9/11 were to take place? What about an electromagnetic pulse attack? Canada’s pandemic response would not bode well if something much worse than COVID-19 were to take place.
To wit:
The Alberta company’s messenger-RNA shot could be rolling out of the Emergent Biosolutions plant in Winnipeg before year’s end, Sorenson said last week, shortly after Emergent executives underwent a public grilling by U.S. lawmakers.
The Maryland-based manufacturer has taken heat in Congress and the U.S. media for ruining 15 million doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine, struggling with quality-control problems at its Baltimore plant and generating spotty results from a lucrative government contract.
The firm’s little-known Winnipeg facility, not implicated in the U.S. controversy, is slated to do the final stages of manufacturing on the Canadian vaccine. …
But plans are up in the air as Ottawa has shown scant interest in pre-ordering any of the Providence vaccine itself, despite encouraging early results, he complained.

Officer Cadet Ladislas Kenderesi was charged with one count of “endeavoring to persuade another person to join in a mutiny,” an offence under the National Defence Act. Kenderesi was also charged with one count of behaving in a scandalous manner unbecoming of an officer.
The charges were laid May 12 by the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service, defence officials told this newspaper.
Kenderesi had appeared at an anti-lockdown rally in December in Toronto dressed in his Canadian Forces uniform and speaking out about the COVID-19 vaccine, claiming it was a “killer.”
He called on military personnel not to be involved in government plans to distribute the vaccine. “I’m asking military, right now serving, truck drivers, medical, engineers, whatever you are, do not take this unlawful order (for) the distribution of this vaccine,” Kenderesi said at the rally. A video of his speech was posted on YouTube.
I’ll just leave this sad fact here:
The Ontario government has reported the first fatal case of an extremely rare blood clot that has been detected in a small number of residents who received the AstraZeneca/COVISHEILD COVID-19 vaccine.
Never trust snowboard instructors and graphic arts designers to do real scientists’ jobs:
Pandemic stay-home orders and lockdowns were so widespread it cost the federal treasury more than two-third of a billion in lost gas taxes, according to finance department accounts. Fuel tax revenue will remain “well below expected GDP growth” for years to come, wrote staff: “Revenues are projected to fall by 12 percent.”

The Department of Health receives an average 100 reports a day of opioids lost or stolen from pharmacies nationwide, says an internal audit. The department had a backlog of 20,000 reports it failed to track, and no idea of the volume of drugs diverted to the black market: “I’m dumbfounded the system could allow that much loss and not do anything about it.”

Why, that doesn’t sound suspicious at all!:
The Privy Council Office is concealing hundreds of thousands of records on pandemic mismanagement, the Commons health committee was told. Disclosure of a few records to date detail favouritism in contracting and attempts to hide supply shortages: “Who in government is responsible?”

A source within the Biden State Department wishing to remain anonymous has shared with Human Events News a document that indicates that all U.S. “Diplomatic and Consular posts” are being encouraged to display shows of support for Black Lives Matter on Tuesday, May 25, the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s death. The memo reads in part, “The Department supports the use of the term ‘Black Lives Matter’ in messaging content, speeches, and other diplomatic engagements with foreign audiences to advance racial equity and access to justice on May 25 and beyond (italics added) We encourage posts to focus on the need to eliminate systemic racism and its continued impact.”
